Nika Muhl, a proud citizen of Croatia, passionate about her home country, came to the United States four years ago to play college basketball at the University of Connecticut (UConn), one of the premiere college basketball programs in the United States.
Nika had a wonderful career at UConn, known for her tough defense and tough mindedness, and her playmaking ability as the team’s point guard.
Her play on the court and her warmth and engaging personality off the court have endeared her to UConn fans whom adore her. Nika interacts with her fans in a warm and friendly way.
Nika now plays for the Seattle Storm of the WNBA who drafted her in April 2024.
When the Storm came to New York recently, Nika took the time to tell us about Croatia, the allure of coming to the U.S., and the adjustments she had to make living in the U.S.

Love You Nika! We sadly learned tonight the heartbreaking news that Nika tore her ACL. We are Nika Mühl Fans at Our Home here in Minnesota USA. There was not a dry eye in our house tonight after hearing about Nika’s Injury as We all cried with her. What a spectacular diplomat Niki is for the WNBA , I’m a new fan coz of Caitlin , but now I’m becoming submerged in it . But this young lady just reeks of superbly. I just hope the powers to be can do something about the petty women in the sport.

Anybody know how Nika is doing? Is she recovering? Saw that footage when she had her injury it was the hardest thing I have ever seen. She is a bulldog and to hear her scream like that.

Croatia is a extremely Catholic conservative country and it's not gonna change. So she doesn't have a clue what's she's talking about, and they prefer that way.
