Ford Ranger Raptor Redesigned, Brings Major Ride and Interior Improvements Ford’s midsize Ranger pickup truck has been completely redesigned for the 2024 model year, adopting bolder front-end styling inspired by the larger F-150. While Ford sells the Ranger with a turbodiesel V-6 in some overseas markets, the American version comes standard with a 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. A more powerful twin-turbo gas-powered V-6 is optional, and both engines can be had with either rear- or all-wheel drive. Unlike last year’s Ranger, which was offered in two different body styles, the new one is available only as a crew cab with four full-size doors. The cabin has received major changes and now features a large, vertically oriented infotainment system similar to the one found as an option on the high-end Edge SUV.
