My healthy Apetor intake was maybe 3-6 videos per day, so I get around. :D Recommendations are still full of him, even some vids I had never seen before. Hoping this channel lives on

While this video was done with multiple takes. It's actually not that uncommon for people to swim in freezing water.
There is a Event in Alberta called the Polar Bear plung, which is where people jumping into a lake with a hole cut on the ice. They can generally last about 2 minutes.
Not sure what they do to warm up quickly tho. Probably a sauna close by.

First of all, he have done this for quite a while, probably starting from his childhood. This used to be (and somewhere still is) a common practice in several countries - people are getting used to being exposed to extreme cold temperatures for short periods. I remember how it was a perfectly normal thing in USSR - every kid had to be, how they called it, "tempered" by doing gymnastics in winter.
We still have people in Russia that we call "walruses", they are swimming in winter lakes from time to time.
