I have a friend from work who is a practicing Muslim and he's been learning Arabic for many years. I have a love of learning languages and this has helped me with learning and practicing with him.
I work with an Arab guy, all day we tease each other and I try to convert him to Christianity and me to Islam. I love learning new things to say to him and we just laugh. With all the problems in the world today, I look at my Muslim brother and question why others can't get along like we do.
Good day for you. It is really anazing explanation! Very nice to hear from you in Arabic and English at the same time. I want to see more vlogs from you. Really good work!
Congratualations, Toqa! Your videos are amazing! Very cleary and interesting. الفيديو مُمتاز. بارك الله فيك و شغلِك دائماً. بحِب إشوف كُل. I really learned the " لَيلِ سَعيد " and could not imagine that this expression is not used with arabs themselves.
تشرفت فيك دانيال، وفيك بارك الله Yeah, my students always say it to me, but it's not really Arabic, it's a bad translation of good night, or the French "bonne nuit".
It's Modern Standard Arabic. It's not spoken in all Arabic countries. But it's the language of education, laws, books, and politics in all Arabic countries. And it's the origin of all Arabic dialects. 90% of each Arabic dialect comes from Standard Arabic.
