Bucharest used to be much more beautiful during the interwar period. A lot of beautiful buildings were destroyed by bombings, communists and the earthquake of 77. We are extremely unlucky. :(( Had Bucharest stayed the same, it would've been one of the most beautiful cities from Eastern Europe.
