Narrator here! Sorry man. I have no idea what music i chose for Chadwicks. Most likely something from TH-cam's Creative Commons library _studio.th-cam.com/channels/rGjnqxNMK74rABesgLfhzg.htmlmusic_ I'm usually better about crediting the musicians. This was one of my first audio dramas and i missed it.
@@BrianNewberry Sorry I meant the original episode soundtrack, while Columbo is at Chadwick's shop.
I searched for many background musics but it seems they're lost or anyway they weren't released.

Truthfully - the Chadwicks music (which i can hear in my head as i type) i cannot recall if this was already in the Columbo soundtrack, or if I added it in after. Right this moment, i don't have access to the original.
But you seem pretty sure it was the original soundtrack, so i think you're correct.
Either way - i really don't know what that music is.
The music did very well for giving a sense of high-class opulence / extravagant luxury.
I'll keep an ear to the ground, and if ever i do located this music's pedigree, i'll return here and let you know. :)

Maybe as i'm out walking around humming this music (for it's definitely wedged snugly in my mind), someone will approach and say, "HEY! That's the music from Chadwicks! It's called _"La Bella Rosa"_ or something.

My last video contains the Chadwicks theme but I just used an apk to remove the voices, you cannot hear very much.
Anyway I think you got it right 100%, it gave that sense and to me is a wonderful piece.
I'm also going to post another theme, I remember it played during the chess match on the restaurant table with salt and pepper used as pawns.
