I'm making this for my daughter's dorm mates mom. She is the best. Since I live out of state, she keeps an eye on my baby and treats her as her own. Plus she's a chicken mom! This will make a great Christmas gift.
Yay!

Thank you for this tutorial and I cannot believe how easy it is to sew an egg apron. Looking forward to learning more from you. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks for this tutorial! This was my first sewing project, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. Makes me encouraged to try more things!
I'm going to make this for my granddaughter. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thanks for such detailed instructions that we can actually follow along.
You are a fabulous teacher. You are to be commended, not everyone can do a learning video.
Love it
This is the best tutorial I’ve watched. I now feel 100% confident
Great beginner project for my granddaughter! Clear instructions complete with common sense, time saving shortcuts. Thanks for simplifying the process! Prepping to start our chicken family this spring. Now to grab some fabric and get busy!
Yay!!
The easiest tutorial for the egg apron. You did a great job!
Thanks so much! 😊
You are an excellent teacher. One of the best I have seen. Very thorough instructions, you make it seem very easy. Great detail. I want to make this for 2 of my friends that have chickens for Christmas.
Thank you! Please feel free to share this video on social media 😁I need to make more videos haha
Thank you for the tutorial! I used your ideas and made it my own. I used a pillow case that I cut in half. I then used a fat quarter for the pockets and just cut the fat quarter in half, folded and sewed into the pockets. This made 5 pockets with pleats. I used a wide grosgrain ribbon for the tie. Your tutorial is so much easier to follow than some I have seen with a lot of measuring.
This is a great tutorial! You explain things so well and it's easy to follow. I love that you weren't so exact with placements, it made this project so much fun!
Thank you this was easy to understand and a lot fun !! Look forward to more projects from you !! Thank you again.
Thank you for the step by step instructions.
THANK YOU!!!! I've been trying to figure out how to make an egg apron for a friend's child, but being a visual learner, printed instructions just made no sense!! ( I even made a paper mock up of the egg pocket strips for one pattern, but that didn't work, either!!) I'm SO happy to have found your easy to follow video!!! This pattern will definitely work!!! I can't wait to check out your other videos!!!! THANKS again!!!
Yay!!! Your so welcome. Very happy to help. Please feel free to share this video
@@billettescrafts I've shared it on several Facebook sewing pages when I shared the apron I made. I'll try to post a pic of it on Instagram. THANKS again!!
What a great tutorial! I am going to have a sewing 'party' with two of my great-nieces next week and was looking for something fun, easy and useful that they could sew. This will be perfect since they have chickens and help gather eggs. Now to go through my stash and find some fun fabrics for each of them! Thank you so much!
Wonderful!
Making this for a friend and I enjoyed seeing you use your apron. Never having been around chickens it helped me understand how the apron was used. Loved your clear and easy instructions and thank your for the tutorial.
Welcome
❤️ this tutorial 🧵 Made 1 for my friend collecting eggs & a few for her neighbour’s 3 tiny children who all help her x
Such easy to follow instructions. Successfully made my first one after watching this video. Thank you x
Thank you. I've been wracking my brain to make 9ne for a friend. I love this visual learning. It's so helpful! I shared this with my friend so she can learn also.
That was terrific. My niece raises chickens for eggs. This will be my next sewing project for her.
yay!!
This is a great tutorial, thank you!! I love clean and simple and you nailed it! I have 5 grandkids and just made 2 full (butcher-style) aprons for my little ones. After seeing this video, I am definitely making 3 more like this one for my older girls as well. They will love these - they have 12 chickens that should begin laying anytime soon so I'll be ready with these aprons. Thank you so much, your explanation is great!
Welcome!
Great Idea. Can’t wait to make one for my cousin she has lots of chickens. Best tutorial I’ve seen. Keep the idea’s coming.❤😊🙌👍
What a fantastic tutorial! Clear, concise! Wonderful!
Going to get a table at an upcoming craft fair and have made 3 of these so far from your tutorial. As a beginner, very easy to follow and fun to make. Thank you
Awesome!!
Thank you for the awesome tutorial! I was able to easily adapt the size for my 7 year old to carry just one row of 4 eggs. I rounded the bottom and added bias tape to the edges of the apron and the top of the egg pockets for extra colour and made each part from bright contrasting prints. It is super fun and she can't wait to collect the eggs in it!
You are exceptional at giving instructions that are easy to understand for one who is fairly new to sewing. I especially liked your tip on the stitch length & on prewashing in hot water and drying on high heat. I always wash the fabric before sewing, but I have never heard or read anything regarding the temperature. Since it's a colored fabric and not cotton that's too heavy, I wouldn't have that of that on my own. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I’m ready to make one for my daughter in law’s mom, who has chickens in North Carolina.
You are so welcome!
Love this! So simple, not a ton of fabric and stinkin’ cute 🥰
I loved this video! Thanks for an easy follow tutorial, can't wait to get started 🎉

Great job!
I’m a beginner and your video is so educational and easy to follow.
Thank you 🙂🐓🥚
I love your tutorial. I made my grandson a Spider-Man egg apron with spider web fabric as the pockets. It turned out great! I think he will be ecstatic! Wish I could post a picture here to show u!
Great tutorial! Very clear on your instructions.
I made mine as a Christmas present, for a lady that I get my eggs from. Found material that had 🐓on it.
Used that for the apron and a checker print for the pockets. Backed it with lite weight duck cloth ( made it more sturdier). 😊
Sounds lovely
Sounds super cute!
What a lovely apron and efficient tutorial! Thank you
This is great. Can't wait to make a few. Thanks!
I loved this video! Very informative and easy to follow! I like how you talk through it all, step by step. It is a simple project, but you make it easy and fun! Great job!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😃
This is so appreciated. You’ve made great tutorial and now I don’t have to figure out how to make one! Thank you!!
Welcome
I made two for myself and a neighbor, modified to hold 10 eggs and added a much longer sash to wrap around and tie in the front. I added interfacing to the apron portion for additional support for the weight of the eggs. I added a little Rick-rack trim around the apron sides and bottom (before attaching the sash). This apron will outlast my hens!! Thank you for your easy to follow instructions and video. Love the common sense, time saver tips for my young seamstress (granddaughter) in training.
Your very welcome!! Sounds like you made some lovely aprons
Thank you for the information, the tutorial, and the straightforward presentation. Be well

My four year old granddaughter tried her apron on-at her birthday party and was very pleased to discover the pockets fit half of those plastic tube “popsicles “ really well, too! 🤣 Great tutorial!! 💕
Thank you!
What size did you make it
I whipped one up and it's sooo cute, I sold it 😂.. Made me a few more..
A New addition of aprons added on to my store..

If u don't mind wich was the price u ask 4 it...I think is a great idea because almost never see one on stores 😅😅😅😅
Thank you so much for this tutorial!!! It was super easy and works great! Definitely making more!!
Next time I may make the pockets a little bigger to begin with because the canvas type material didn’t seem to flatten well after flipping it right side out.
Very cute and easy!!
