Experience Cove Harbour: The best-kept SECRET in the Scottish Borders

- WOW! This is the best place to visit I’ve found for ages.
Cove Harbour in the Scottish Borders. It’s a secret harbour because so few people know about it. There’s also a scary tunnel down to the beach. The views of the cliffs and coastline are incredible. And there’s a cute rental property called The Blue Cabin by the Sea.

Been to Cove a few times, but would never have known about it but for my Scottish cousin who lives not too far away in Tranent. Always like to go there whenever I am in Scotland, as it is a stunning location and truly beautiful
Thanks Paul! I wish I’d found it sooner - lived in Scotland for 29 years until I first went! ☺️ very beautiful as you say!
Went there on Sunday its stunning plenty there enjpying sunshine
Thanks for commenting and I’m glad you enjoyed your visit. 😀
There you go, unearthing more amazing places I’ve never heard of! Awesome!
This is definitely one of my favourite discoveries. 🌍
Credit where it's due, Roger. This is a great piece of reportage. It certainly pays Cove Old Harbour due reverence. I came across this video because I've just booked a certain eclectic place for a few days in March! Can't wait. I've even done my homework to establish that there is a fantastic community general/grocery store about half a mile away as the crow flies and 1.4 miles away drive-wise - in Cockburnspath village.
Thanks so much for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it! Great to hear you’ll be staying there! Please do let me know how enjoy the experience! 😀
There's a secret door half way through the tunnel where the Pirates hide.
Oh that's why I missed them! 😀
The Cove is a great little harbour and Pease Bay used to be nice before all the caravans
Such a gorgeous place! Will go back in the summer!
Amazing work 👏
Cheers - I appreciate your support. Means a lot. ☺️
Second! 😁
🤜🤛
If you go to Eyemouth harbour, further down the coast, there is a similar, but much longer memorial to that disaster. There must have been more people involved there than from smaller, more distant Cove. I wonder if other nearby villages also have memorials if they were affected? I just knew of the one until your video.
There’s one at St Abbs too, Chris. Fisherrow sadly lost some of their fishermen too, so I think it involved communities all the way down the East Coast.
Not a secret been visiting Cove for over 50 years
Theatrical licence! 😂 Such a gorgeous place.
Secret????? Hahah - err no it's not secret! - It was secret there wouldnt be an obvious path would there?
Theatrical licence! 😂
