VTwin Rides I’ve just picked up an SV650. I’m looking to upgrade some of the components. What mods have you made to yours? Do you have any detailed pics of your bike somewhere online?

VTwin Rides not seen an all black one, looks the business. Just put deposit down on an AL9 in this years colours, white with blue wheels and frame combo. Pick it up the 26th Bar end mirrors already ordered
The exhaust decision may have to wait. Many saying they like the stock exhaust sound. How come you stopped making the vids ? Some crackin roads there

@VTwin Rides: I’d love to see a review of the mods you’ve done to your bike!

How long was your trip? I'm considering buying SV650 but have some concerns regarding the seat comfort. Any thoughts on that (since you obviously do some longer trips on it)? Nice video BTW ;)

lukasjbc thank you mate. I've got the standard seat and I can ride it for about 2-3 hours before I get a numb bum. It does take a while to get used with it but it's totally fine. MCN said, on their last review of the SV650X, that they replaced the tuck n roll saddle with the standard one for more comfort. Get one. Cheers.

lukasjbc I've just come back from 10 days in Europe over 2100 miles doing Stelvio and some Swiss passes and bike never missed a beat and seat was fine, bike is 11mths old and has nearly 11,000 miles on clock 😊

graham hutchison thanks for your input on that mate. I'm buying one next Monday, got a really good deal on a brand spanking new 2018 model in black with red frame... Really can't wait to get it 😂😂

The seat really is quite uncomfortable. According to one of the lead engineers, they wanted a 'firmer' seat to give you a better connected feel to the bike. I get that and all, but this isn't the bike where you need that kind of feedback. Give me a more comfy seat damn it. Anyways, I digress, but I am looking into getting the stock seat refoamed with more.

lukasjbc what is a really good deal to you? I'm having a hard time taking down dealers in Canada. Pretty much paying the MSRP ($7899cdn) plus a couple hundred in dealer fees.

youre destroying the wheels and suspension riding on this bad surface

10k miles later and they are still good as new. Well built bikes this Suzuki's. Metzler Roadtec 01 tyres have quite an impressive grip on bad surfaces. Cheers.
