Hi, unexpectedly well. Done about 20k miles in all weather including commuting in the winter. Engine case paint and frame solid, no chippings, but it doesn't stay mat; tank got a bit shiny after multiple washes + waxing; swingarm paint scratches v easy. Sold the SV a couple a years ago for a gsxs1000f. Still missing it now.... Great bike overall and eventually I will get another SV.

You can hear mine in the video, more like a growl with the occasional pop but not on every deccel... Aesthetic wise it does stick out a bit more than the stock one but I've just got used with it now. Remeber trying to twist it around to get it as close as possible to the swing arn. You've made a good choice. Really well built. Mine still looks like new after 3 years and 15k on the clock. @@xef322 yep, I'm twisting it, and can't line up propperly, but sound is rly great, better than my big old Scorpion exhaust on sv 99

VTwin Rides not seen an all black one, looks the business. Just put deposit down on an AL9 in this years colours, white with blue wheels and frame combo. Pick it up the 26th Bar end mirrors already ordered The exhaust decision may have to wait. Many saying they like the stock exhaust sound. How come you stopped making the vids ? Some crackin roads there

10k miles later and they are still good as new. Well built bikes this Suzuki's. Metzler Roadtec 01 tyres have quite an impressive grip on bad surfaces. Cheers.

Cheap as chips anodised ebays. They're not adjustable but the handle bars are quite narrow on the sv. Cheers.

It's end can only DB killer out. I don't think I'll ever go for the full system it's loud enough, so loud that I need earplugs for longer rides. I had Delkevick Sl10 before the Fuel Diablo. Fuel sounds meaner and louder and the build quality its better. Cheers mate.

VTwin Rides I’ve just picked up an SV650. I’m looking to upgrade some of the components. What mods have you made to yours? Do you have any detailed pics of your bike somewhere online?

lukasjbc thank you mate. I've got the standard seat and I can ride it for about 2-3 hours before I get a numb bum. It does take a while to get used with it but it's totally fine. MCN said, on their last review of the SV650X, that they replaced the tuck n roll saddle with the standard one for more comfort. Get one. Cheers.

lukasjbc I've just come back from 10 days in Europe over 2100 miles doing Stelvio and some Swiss passes and bike never missed a beat and seat was fine, bike is 11mths old and has nearly 11,000 miles on clock 😊

The seat really is quite uncomfortable. According to one of the lead engineers, they wanted a 'firmer' seat to give you a better connected feel to the bike. I get that and all, but this isn't the bike where you need that kind of feedback. Give me a more comfy seat damn it. Anyways, I digress, but I am looking into getting the stock seat refoamed with more.

lukasjbc what is a really good deal to you? I'm having a hard time taking down dealers in Canada. Pretty much paying the MSRP ($7899cdn) plus a couple hundred in dealer fees.

I don't normally find non narrated videos that interesting, but this yours has the lovely sound of the SV and the stunning Lake District, and to top it all done at my perfect time of the day :) must get back up your way with the bike and get some of those evening rides in.
