I think it would be funny to have two high rank players on seperate teams try and carry low rank players, maybe it could be called elo heaven since the low ranks would be getting boosted instead of held back
turning Smite into an RTS, just a 1v1 with 4 minions each player to command
Grab 2 plat+ players who think they are good shot callers and 8 silver players that think they do a good job following calls. And just watch everyone fuck up their roles.
I think the only one stuck in Elo hell is the fire giant. He farmed that in that fight at FG

Love this series dude, literally got me back into playing Smite after a couple of years. Good shit man.
Bounce around. And then top down late game for team fights. I also do think you can add damage numbers. Cause i think before you could see crit numbers pop up.
Bounce around Povs feels easier to follow and makes it more personal and exciting. But also, occasionally switching it to Top Down when teams are gathering to fight for objectives like Fire Giant would be nice. I get less invested when the whole match is top down view with no variation of POVs
I find it funny how the Cupid was patting himself on the back in all caps after the match 😂 when he wasn’t even the MVP
I have an idea for a video: go over each Ranked tier and describe what is expected from players in each rank:
Mechanics, map awareness, knowing roles well, knowing counter match ups, build correctly etc..
I think doing top down and switching throughout the players is the best way to do it
almost all these players all looked rough for gold let alone whatever they thought they should be
I think a mix of both the top down and hopping around is good for videos like this

I’m only a gold player, but tusk seemed to play more consistent. Probably not a build I would run seems to be selfish considering there are so many good hybrid tank items that can be picked up in solo and also benefit the team.

Just started, I would like top down and commentate it like a sub league match. I always really enjoy watching the sub league commentary and games that are played!
You should find the top (or within top 5) controller player in ranked and follow a match or two with them and get their perspective on competing at a high level against mostly mouse and keyboard players

Great series! Like you could do so many variations. I think one that would be interesting would be take someone who thinks they are in ELO hell and put them in a lobby with everyone else who is one rank down

I think I am in my current elo but my friend who is in masters or something high (I did see him in your games sometimes) thinks I am in plat-diamond player. I am a solo/supp players sometimes I do mid. I am in gold currently but I just recently left silver lobby thanks to some of my friends trying to help me. I currently don’t main any god currently, trying to learn a few gods but don’t have one in mind that I really like. My best lane that I think I am good at is support and I love playing aggressive gods like horis and baka(however you spell his name) but my high elo friend thinks I should be solo main and play guan/Bellona.
@weak3n series idea, host a game at a plat level or whatever and have a anonymous bronzey planted in there. See if anyone ir what team figures it out

I think elo he'll shouldn't be 2 stages up. Elo he'll should be any mmr you are stuck at because your team refuses to be helpful.
I understand being better to an extent but at some points you can't be expected to be 4 times better than the other team to compensate for your teams lack of knowledge
I think this is a good way to filter if you have a lot of people requesting episodes, however i think it becomes too easy to see a mistake or two and ignore a whole game.
We didnt see much of cthulhu or bacchus. We also got a lot of clashing calls that led to some really wonky fights. Which doesnt really let us see WHO fucked up, just that its a fucked engagement i think having 1 on each team will allow more focus, without becoming muddled down to where we the viewer are trying to figure it out. (Your professional insight is way better than most of our assumptions)
The fact that I can recognize that they're gold or lower from the pick screen is a yikes

Yeh pretty clearly all gold...I wonder if these guys are just trying to get shown on weak3ns channel. So people think they're good because they have good games here and there? Elo hell means your fragging literally almost EVERY game and just not winning most. Yall seemed lost in a lot of these fights. Cthulu tanked a whole wave from full health, coulda ulted at 3 times, but still got solod by tsuki. The shit show early in duo also was a clear display.
Never played a ranked smite game and never will if this is the skill level of the 1500 area. Just seems like a headache when I could just play casual and find much better gameplay/teams.
1500 is smite's zero. That is where you start.

Very typical "elo hell" mindset to think your kda means you should be higher tier. If the cupid player gets over himself, gets his head out of his ass, and practices tracking basics, he'd be great. His mind is his biggest obstacle rn

I hate the top down view. I can’t focus enough to care. Bouncing around from lane to lane could be good if you explain which lane has the best early game impact on late game

For Ego Hell, I think starting top down and bouncing between relevant players is the best way to do it. Just my opinion though.

New idea take the best from their lane in these EGO Hell and put them on one team against 5 of whatever rank they think they are

well i belive u can sometimes fall in elo hell ive once dropped from 2500 mmr to 1300 in like 2 weeks it was like 1 win and 3-4 loses and first loses were like -54mmr but when won +47 and i always solo que for ranked qonq and then it got worse and worse i mean i had a games where we should win but ppl sucisde and then we end 3v5 or even worse and lose fg and evetually game after someone else die before we could even try to def :) AND IT IS RLY HARD when u are used to play with ppl like diamond and masters and u drop to gold and u go IN u see a sure kill spam gang atack etc and team dont flw and u end like 1v2 or 1v3 cause ur team just left you i was so pissed when i dropped to 1353mmr i was about to unisntall smite but then i had some"normal" players who listen to calls and i did change my main role as jungler to carry so i could just hold left and go back to 2k ++mmr games it took me like few days and i was then winning like 6-8 games and lost 1-2 each day :)

Watching these makes me realize that I’m not in ELO hell, but I do think my brain is higher elo than my hand’s because I do admittedly struggle mechanically sometimes, but I feel like decision making and team fight/objective wise I do better than people at my level. I constantly have to ask people to stop chasing the mobile low health support or jungle so we can take a free tower or gold.
I will say this top down view is probably the best for when you are not focusing on the one person

Does Cupid count as ability hunter these days? They buffed his heal so that the hearts give him passive stack, so half your passive meter gets filled with ability instead of autos.
No cupid is an auto attack focus god he has two damage abilities one of which is an auto attack buff/stim.
Give Baccus some props. He did bad in the beginning but was lowkey being a good support.
Never Maui for support. It's funny, what I think that holds me back from being a better player is a lot of little things he said the players were doing wrong.
Tsuki could've gotten the Chern who ulted to him with 1 health. His ultimate was up in seconds. Cthulu might've been able to get him back bc his ult was also up, but at least it would make the match more exciting

ride along with different people through these kinds of matches where we aren’t following 1 specific person. easier to see what the person sees that way to determine what should happen, vs what they do.
