That was the most amazing day of my life. He had been sick with a parasite for 2 years in agonizing pain. He begged to be taken out of his misery. After a stack about 4 inches thick of 2 years worth of weekly hospital discharge papers I realize they weren’t going to help him. I decided I have to try to understand the healings that happened in the Bible. I was desperate. My child was having what looked like seizures throughout the day, every single day. Moaning and crying and scratching at his face and pulling his hair. My sweet baby looked like he was dying. I read and studied every healing in the book of mark. On our way home from the hospital he had an attack in the car. He was moaning and grabbing at his chest. I grabbed his hand, and saw the sickness (the parasite) as a separate being from my son and told it to leave in Jesus name. I felt anger because something was tormenting my child. And just as her mothers body jolted forward,so did his. My child was sick and after that prayer he was not. He said it felt like something punched him in the chest and the he felt a pull and just like that two years of suffering was over. Some can’t believe it because they didn’t see it but I know with all of my being that God healed my child. Him holding her hand, then speaking to it separately to leave her and the jolt forward was all real. I don’t know what you are going through but the only way I got a miracle was to believe in them. I pray you have peace and healing from within and throughout your body. Healing can come. I was broken and truly had the faith of a mustard seed. Start praying everyday. Be willing to release the pain, the suffering, the diagnosis. Be open to healing and know that miracles can happen today just as they did over 2000 years ago.

Simon's Mother in law :Who are you ? Jesus: I am Jesus, the Son of the Living God. The Alpha and Omega. The King of kings. The Lord of lords. The creator of all things.
I’m not the wife of a minister but that scene meant so very much to me and my situation with my marriage. It made me realize that God sees me during my broken heart moments when my husband ignores my presence. 🥲
I have watched "The Chosen" at least 40 times, not braggin, but I am. Ha ha ha This is one great Bible program very educational to say the least can't wait for season two.
I've only watched it once but have noticed things I missed. I'm sure others have missed them. I doubt if the writers even knew what was happening. But of course Jesus knew. After all He was instrumental in it development.
That scene at 5;18 when he speak of traveling with a worried Simon, I could see Jesus playing like that and it literally made me fall deeper in love with Jesus (not the actor, lol) even more so as I know that is how Yeshua is he is so kind and loving and WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR< SAVIOR.!! There is just something about that name!
Right! But Jonathan Roumie really has to know Jesus in order to be able to have the creative license to show us what God as man may have been like. Jonathan did outstandingly well and it shows that he knows his Bible and the teachings of God's Church.

I love the portrayal of all these characters. It's the first time I ever felt like they were people while watching an adaptation. You see Peter learning to have faith. Jesus' understanding and love and humor. Even Peter's wife feels like a three-dimensional person even though she's barely had any screen time yet. I love how this show fleshes out and dramatizes the world of the Bible so that it feels like a living, breathing setting. Well done to the crew, the writers, the cast, everybody. Round of applause.
Brother, sorry to be a party pooper here....here is the problem I see in this movie. First, Jesus is not a guru, or a surfer dude, or this gaia Jesus that spreads this humanist love. He is the son of GOD, a Holy Holy figure of the Trinity. And you must have reverence, bc HE IS GOD, a heavenly divine majestic regal figure that deserves to be worshipped and feared, such as bowing and plastering our face on the floor, overwhelmed by HIS GRACE. The Angels of heaven dont see Jesus as this Brooklyn Hipster that spreads kindness and cares for his community. The Angels praise HIM with Holiness, shouting Holy Holy is HIS NAMES. He is our GOD, and our Savior, not our BFF. My friend sin is real, and if we dont repent, or foolishly brush off the gift of repentance and think this is just a Hallmark fuzzy story of Jesus, you are falling into the Devils snare. Jesus is not this hipster cool dude that makes us laugh, yes his kindness is sweet, and HIS mercy has no depth but you are missing the point. Read HIS word and he will give you the right image of his Holiness, you dont need Hollywood to give you that image....it's super dangerous.
@MB It's the problem YOU see. Thank God YOU are not our faithful High Priest because there is no way that even a sinful human being redeemed by the blood of the Lamb could understand the pain so many in the flock have experienced in life. But Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Word made Flesh; he understands. And because he walked in this flesh he is our Faithful High Priest! This program is not for you. It is not for the religious who can not understand others pain, and it's not meant for you to. That's why God sent Jesus and that is why HE is Lord!
@@jazshas amen also He WAS human! He cried He danced He laughed!THIS is WHY so many are returning to the real Jesus because they can relate to His humanity! So it is a blessing!

This is the best version of the greatest story ever told that I have seen in my (almost) 70 years. We got the DVD and the first person we loaned it to was a priest. It would be nice if he would mention The Chosen to the congregation and other priests etc. I do not think we will ever get the DVDs back, which is OK. I want them seen as much as possible. So that is 2 donations, buy the DVDs and then donate them where they will be seen a lot. Does it cost Dallas' company money when people watch it via the app? It’s funny how Simon tries to be smarter than Jesus (!!!) Jesus has already asked him to do something very specific - “Go sit with your mother in law...” - and it’s even a command! But Simon gainsays him with like, “Uh, am I the only one here to think of practical things? My wife and her mom will need some ready cash while I’m away.” Needless to say Jesus gives him this look, the look that he had described to Eden after he had hesitated to cast that net again one more time, the look that speaks to Simon of compassion but also of absolute authority! With that look Jesus reminds us that He knows and remembers that we are in a “situation,” a predicament, but that He is in total charge of everything and we need to trust Him 🙏
@@fullcircle4723 Maybe, but aren't we the same way? Those of us who have been following Jesus for a long time can still find ourselves "forgetting" who God is and what He can do and has done. Isn't that why we worry and make plans b, c, d, and e instead of trusting God?

I love it every time.. he touches her and your in tears , because you know what he’s doing , then she sits upright and looks at him and says , “Who are you ? “ and you can’t help but laugh .
What a wonderful series. Thanks for bringing the loaves and the fishes Dallas.
i laughed, i couldn't help it
Jesus happy face silently kneeling there while she stares at him is just the best.
El Roi - the God who sees, and I see Him through teary eyes. Thank you, The Chosen!
The hagar reference... Beautifully done. Felt so sorry for Nicodemus the whole time
In the gospels, Simon's mother-in-law actually did get up and serve them right away as she was healed. I love how the chosen made this scene
When Jesus healed someone, their body completely regenerated, full of vigor and strength. The Lord makes things new.
As a pastor's wife- may I say this brought me to tears? Thank you for the sensitivity of this scene.
No you may not
Andrews reaction to Jesus saying to put the nets down was awesome. He was like you don’t have to tell me twice
I love being able to see these scenes on youtube. This one in particular is such a delightful juxtaposition between the incredible sadness of family illness and the humor that happened after the healing. And when Jesus says "I see you," so many women are going to hear this and it will go straight to their soul.
Every time I see that scene it makes me smile. The look on Eden’s mother’s face is priceless!
I love how Simon's mother in law gets food ready as soon as she is healed. Carries on as usual
Which is what she would do.
I wasn’t expecting you here…
“People usually aren’t”
Such a true statement…
Nobody really expects the Lord to “pop up” in our lowest times… such a calming thought
Simon's Mother in law :Who are you ?
Jesus: I am Jesus, the Son of the Living God. The Alpha and Omega. The King of kings. The Lord of lords. The creator of all things.
@Dallas Jenkins Yes I have. This comments is written because of the sudden end of the video as she said Who are you ?
Simon’s MIL: Oh. You’ll want dinner, then.
@Dallas Jenkins Amen. God bless you and your whole team. I m watching the scenes again and again 🔥🔥🔥
Gadida guddu em kadu ... raise the rod
@Captain Dodz amen
When Jesus said "Leave Her" than she instantly get healed. The power of Jesus name 🙏🙏🙏
Jesus's facial expressions and humor r awesome.
I’m not the wife of a minister but that scene meant so very much to me and my situation with my marriage. It made me realize that God sees me during my broken heart moments when my husband ignores my presence. 🥲
Right there with you on this. It's still hard. To want a human being to say "you matter" and you can't find one. But this does help.
Only 40??!! 😄
Me too!
I watched it 3 times. You inspired me. Let me go for the fourth...haha
@@hey.hombre watch again
Read God's word and pray for understanding.
Love Dasha saying to Jesus as he is smiling at her “Who are you”. Priceless 💜💚🤎
Exactly! So Israeli Jewish! So real!
Jesus Christ healed me! This is my story about my healing!I was extremely ill! I had diabetes and kidney failure, which urgently requires dialysis! I prayed to God to heal me, not for me, because I don't deserve it, but for my little children, who were left without a mother! in exactly that day, in which I prayed, the Lord healed me! I suddenly felt the pain in my kidneys go away, as well as the dryness in my mouth (diabetes). I'm a new women now! I thank the Lord for His mercy and love for us!!!!
When Jesus spoke with Eden! That was so BEAUTIFUL!!
Every scene of this show is such a gift. To see Jesus be so...human makes you realize that he understands you and everything you have been through or ever will be through.
There's so much grace in that scene, and the mother in law's reaction is priceless.
Beautiful scene. Love when Jesus tells Eden, "I see you."
"Who are you?".....That was awesome!
Lord,
it’s me again.
Thank you for helping me sleep through
the night and waking me up to this beautiful morning.
Lord, I pray that you teach me to love my life with
each passing day.
Eilt my heart with joy and gladness and remind me of
all the things in my life to be thankful for .
When thoughts of negativivy begin to fill my mind,
please remind me that you love me.
When I begin to feel helpless and hopeless, please
remind me that you’ve got me.
When i feel like i hate my life, plese remind me that you
created me for a purpose.
Mold and guide me to your purpose for me, because i trust
that your plans for meare better than
naything i could ever ask for.
In jesus’ name, i pray
"Who are you!?" lol After such a wonderful scene with Eden, the mother-in-law' words just made me laugh and cry all the more. Such a beautiful series this... get use to different - because how the Chosen is made is different. By God.
"I see you"... To hear those words from Jesus would be glorious! God Bless everyone, have a wonderful weekend...
The actor of Simon's mother-in-law's eyes light up when looking at Jesus.
Jesus reset her computer and she rebooted.
@@RangerCaptain11A yes! The creator of the human body, the one who breathed the breath of life into Adam. The Lord Jesus.
@MB
It's the problem YOU see.
Who are you 😆 the best scene 😆♥️
Right? Cracks me up everytime!
😅😂😂🤣🤣
So unexpected
Jesus. We. Love you
Love that scene.❤️
When Jesus was talking to Simon's wife, that was a very sweet moment... And again made me cry for joy at his Love and grace at which he dealt with her.
God bless you for this wonderful work that speaks to the heart ❤️❤️❤️I am from Egypt and I follow you 😍
Jesus is flawless. Everything he thinks, says and acts upon is extremely natural in process and never by force. Praise God Almighty!
The line "who are you?" always gets me 😂
Same 😂😂❤
Same lol😂😂❤ and the scene gets even funnier when she runs in the kitchen to make everyone food and peter tries to thank Jesus when Peter's mom kept yelling "does Peter's friend like goat cheese" lol Jesus didn't even have time to say ur welcome lol
The old line of the son-in-laws to their wives, "Your mothers back" lol. Simons wife is the living proof of the virtuous wife in Proverbs 31. My mum had those same attributes. Bringing up 11 children is hard work. Dad coached sports, worked and got involved in a lot of community things while mum kept the house in order.
Who are you?? I m the Lamb of the God, I m the Lion of Judah, I m that I m, I m the living waters, I m the bread of life, I m the Light of the world,I m alpha and omega, I m the King of Kings, I m the Lord of hosts... 🔥🔥🔥

U know each time we obey n surrender our selves and also wen u share god's love n salvation message ....makes Jesus smile ...a really big smile ...n that will make u truly happy ..happiness born of heaven ...not of this world
When is the season 2 coming??? Season 1: best thing ever done on Lord Jesus, far far better than any movie or contemporaries ever made....
They said on Facebook they're hoping to have the first half done by the end of the year (Thanksgiving I think?), but they need to secure the necessary funding by Easter in order to make that happen.
"Who are you?" I had eyes full of tears which immediately turn to laughing out loud! Love this. I watch this series over and over. Thanks to Dallas Jenkins for his hard work.
I love this scene. Her reaction when she saw Jesus is very natural. Excellent Job.
I love the gentle humor written into the dialogue.
This was first up on my youtube feed... Praise God many will see this on their feed.
@Dallas Jenkins Your timely updates, behind the scenes, and Chosen actor's posts, are exponentially manifesting God's Math.
God Bless your work and Holy Spirit timing.
such an inspiring part for those who do not think that we have a part in all God's plan. Amen
So much grace and love for Jesus was put into this series.
I have never cried so much. I ask myself if i will cry uncontrollably when i meet my Lord and Savior Jesus
Blessed are You, Lord God of All Creation. Thank you for the technology You have used today, to encourage and edify me.
One thing they do so perfectly is they make Jesus a person . “Do you think I want to travel with a worried Simon?” is able to be upset. He’s able to be happy, angry, easy-going, sarcastic he’s essentially able to be human.
That was beautiful and brought me to tears. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is oh such a wonderful blessing thank you Jesus, please bless whoever's reading this with the same. Amen
I am so grateful that I purchased The Chosen. I tell everyone they must see this series. It is truly extraordinary.
This is one of my favorite scenes. You guys have done a fantastic job with this season. I can't wait for season 2.
The four gospel is short and to the point. There is a geart background behind every incidence in this gospel. I wish people believe Jesus and accept Him as a personal Saviour.
I love this scene. The tenderness of it as well as the humor. I watch scenes over and over for the goosebump factor. They are just what you need after daunting days in life. They center me.
You hit the nail on the head! "The daunting days of life!" 2020 has been the toughest 5 years of my life!
It does " center" me too matvelously!! Great synthetic power sister
@@paulohlsson27 awesome!
being a minister in a Catholic community, the scene with Eden and Jesus made my wife cry.... it also made me cry.. that dialogue hit home so much. I had to repeat to my wife: "Jesus sees you.... you are part of the ministry", i said. She does, as all wives, get nervous about me going out during ministry days... Thanks a lot for that scene. So amazing!
I am in hospice now and look at dying as easy vs living in pain 24/7. Such is life.
You are doing a great job Dallas and everyone. Along with you, I thank God, for everything. You asked form the heart and God answered. Keep up the good work!
Captain Mark Gray Dallas explained in previous videos that watching the episodes via the APP is based on a Pay It Forward systems where when you purchase the episode or season, that money helps others watch it for free. I do not understand all the financial stuff as to ROI vs COI but as Dallas said in the beginning of making the Chosen, he knows the Lord wants him to only provide the loaves and fishes, the Lord will do the rest. Blessings to you Captain
God bless you Sir.
@@emersondacy Dallas just uploaded a video (Getting The Chosen to One Billion People) explaining the "Pay it Forward" thing perfectly and with a link in the description making it easy to do. Thanks..

I love that scene so very much, brother. It's absolutely wonderful. The Lord's hand is all over you and this production.

Love that "the God Who sees," got to be represented to Peter's wife! Such a good point, Dallas, that the men in ministry's wives need to know that the Lord acknowledges their sacrifices too! Love this "show!"
ADORE this series! Binged the whole season in a couple of days, I’m a seminarian and this series helped bring the life of the story back for me after allowing it all to get so caught up in academics. I’ve already paid it forward by buying the digital and really want to buy it on blu-ray too!
Very powerful. Yes I believe Jesus would have showed a lot of compassion for the wives and families of the desciples left behind. I am so blessed by this scene. God bless you Dallas and all our Chosen family.
Normal Simon is difficult enough to handle.. You think I wanna travel with worried Simon.. Hilarious.. Love you Jesus.. God bless you Dallas and your team🔥
The best portrayal of Jesus ever!
I loved How Eden Felt so Over Joyed Jesus God Noticed her and Acknowledged her struggles. Excellent Acting by All When you can Move someone to tears like me that's Just so Profound Acting
Though do not get me wrong - the work Jonathan does portraying Jesus is AWESOME!!! I am very skeptical when ti comes to someone portraying our Lord and Savior and I truly feel he has captured the true essence of Jesus as a man , friend and God. I saw the interview and the fact that he has God have him do his will through him to portray his Son And the fact he is so humble about it makes him the BEST actor I have seen portray Jesus!!
Beautiful scene. Gave me tears of joy watching the amazing love of Jesus Christ
“We should get a doctor!” “There’s no need!” - Jesus is here!
And the fever awaited the command of the Lord.
I LOVE THE CHOSEN!!! EVERY EPISODE MAKES ME CRY AND LAUGH ALL AT THE SAME TIME!!! GOD BLESS THE CHOSEN!!!
I really like the man's portrayal of jesus. I think he did a really good job. The acting is really good!
I love Andrew. He does what Jesus tells him every time and never ever questions Jesus. And LOVE. I see YOU
Wonderfully enacted by all this star studded cast!
Loved the humor. So real!
Just loved this entire episode. 💯
I cannot tell you how much I love and appreciate this series. Will 'pay it forward' every chance I get.
“Normal Simon is difficult enough ... you think I want to travel with a worried Simon ?” :) gets me every time love that part of the scene
I've been on board since the Launch. I'm just running through some of the back story while I eat my lunch. WARNING!! If you are eating when your heart watches this, please stop. I couldn't swallow. S2 had just finalized and I'm still amazed!! Thank The Chosen Crew and Cast.
I’ve been sharing the app with everyone I know. The world needs to hear the gospel.
This is such a brilliant way to do it. Paying forward has also been such a joy. Blessings to you Dallas and your team.
"Plus, NORMAL Simon is difficult enough...you think I want to travel with a WORRIED Simon...?" (rolls His eyes). LOL! Love it.
With that look Jesus reminds us that He knows and remembers that we are in a “situation,” a predicament, but that He is in total charge of everything and we need to trust Him 🙏
I think Simon wasn't fully convinced that Jesus was the Messiah.
@@fullcircle4723 Maybe, but aren't we the same way? Those of us who have been following Jesus for a long time can still find ourselves "forgetting" who God is and what He can do and has done. Isn't that why we worry and make plans b, c, d, and e instead of trusting God?
@@misspriss2482 Its a written script added in for peoples imagination. And yes, the world is full of them.

What you said spoke so deeply to me brother‼️ so precious‼️I needed to hear this I’ve been wanting to quit brother. Ive been asking Abba to speak to me. I’m crying now. Thank Abba for you‼️ Thank you Abba you care‼️
"Who are you?" so funny, awesome.
Andrew's readiness to fulfill his Rabbi's request, "put your nets down..." and Andrew's instant action to drop the net. It reverses me to the earlier episode when Jesus asked them to cast their nets on the other side and Andrew's swift actions to adhere. Learning a lot from Andrew in how we should act on God's word without delay! Thanks you Chosen Team for a well thought out performance. I'm def taking notes.
This show is one of the best works I've seen.
I loved when Jesus said "I see you" to Eden. It was a precious moment. What was even more interesting and also humorous was when Eden's Mother woke up from her illness, looked at Jesus and said "who are you" her facial expression was priceless and funny.
