White is underrated. It's both bold and (somewhat) natural.
I came down here to say the same thing! White and yellowish bone colors are hugely underrated. Bone looks really natural, especially in clear to stained water, and it could represent any baitfish too.
That was badass nailing those 3 fish. I fished that wall a lot back in the 1980s & 90s. Pulled some Pigs off that area back in the day. I enjoy your skill and discipline in your fishing. Great video

Umm I don’t really have a favorite color scheme to be honest, I have glides of all different colors and it really just comes down to a confidence thing I suppose

The rod is rated 1/2 to 4 oz. That can work for a 250? I feel weird about casting a bull shooter 160 on my I rod rated up to 4 oz. Is that alright to do without hurting the rod?

Looks almost identical to the deps „white carp“ I’ve been fishing for a while (that one has a blueish tail though).

Tbh I’ve never owned a slide swimmer. It’s always been on the radar but always get caught up in the other baits. But this is going to be the first time I make a purchase on this bait and trying to grab all the sizes

Hey Jeff, have you used the Duo Realis Onimasu Glide Bait (Sink or Float), if yes; what's your thoughts and opinions?
I have used it a little in the past, it’s an s motion glide that doesn’t have a lot of side to side motion, best worked on a slower retrieve for sure
Quick question on your terminal tackle... STX-45 obviously, which size? And which rings and size?
I have a Deps Z2020 coming from Japan, super stoked to get it for my glide bait setup.
I use size 2 45’s and I use SU split rings or Owner split rings in size 3

It should be rated 2-8oz with the 4-6oz baits being in the sweet spot, it’s very parabolic and does all the work for you on the cast which is super important

Nice fish bro good catch's!!! I've been fishing big soft baits almost 3 yrs now. I have ISlide 135 & savage gear mag shine glide. I haven't had much luck with savage gear but it doesn't swim well no matter what I do. I have caught fish on Islide. Haven't had much luck on savage gear. What quality glide bait in 7"-10" or top 3; would you recommend?? I live in southern SC around herring lakes but I fish alot lakes without herring also. No little bug baits please. I know how much you love those little damn things...
The Deps Slide swimmers are great, the storm Arashi is pretty good as well, can never go wrong with an s waver either
I've fished the savage gear glide and it's the type of glide you fish faster than a Deps and need to impart some twitches almost like a jerkbait. It sounds like your looking for something you can fish slowler and keep it the strike zone longer. If fishing a bluegill lake I'd recommend a Jackall Gantarel and if you want that wide glide a Deps. Also recommend checking out Tactical Bassin as they have multiple videos on the subject in great detail. Tight lines!

No, color doesn’t matter as much as making the right cast, having the right retrieve, having the right time and so on and so forth, color only really affects confidence in the human mind
