Will Yontek oh i just looked it up. its about 2 hours from me but its right on lake norman so i’ll have to take a trip out there whenever this virus stuff blows over!
I'm assuming the muse handles the 250 pretty well? I own the same rod but not the bait
yeah it gets the job done but i’ve been thinking about looking into other rods that are designed more for larger treble hook baits, the muse’s are definitely a fast action rod and it works well for me with smaller treb baits but i can tell that the 250 may be pushing the limits on my heavy muse and i don’t want to throw the 250 on my extra heavy muse cause i feel like it has too much back bone and might rip the hooks out of the fish. so if i were to get a new rod any time soon it would probably be something rated for heavier baits like the 250 but with a softer action on the rod. i haven’t caught any fish on any of my jig hook baits yet tho but i think thats where the muse will perform best!

@@jamiehegarty_ I've caught a few on it. A couple nice ones up out of ledgerock. My buddy slays on them all over Raleigh. Definitely a great bait. The glide is so fluid. Also done well on the Wade Hoggs out there.

Kavin Holmgren yeah i actually do have a couple questions. what rod, reel and line do you like using with the 250?
@@jamiehegarty_ I use a I rod Genesis II XL Swim. I like to use at least 65 lb braid. The stronger the line the better tho.
Why don’t you get a 9.9 or6 hp motor?
Cat Fish12c i’ve been looking for one on craigslist but i’ve found that there are some jon boats on there for the same price or only a little bit more for a boat, trailer, motor and trolling motor so i may just do that instead.
