  • The headliner on the Commander 410 is looking rough after 40 yrs. In this video, we show how we install new LED lighting and replace the overhead vinyl with brand new marine vinyl from Bry-Tech. The round LED lights and the white diamond pattern vinyl came from Amazon. The strip LED lights used on the bridge came from Ebay. We cut and soldered them to fit the space. The dimmer is a 30A unit from Ebay (I burned up the 8A dimmers I bought previously). The switches are JR Products #12635 and are listed as SPDT, not DPDT. Thanks for watching.

I appreciate you honestly in showing the challenges you encountered. Like every DIY boat project I've undertaken, the learning curve can be steep. In the learning and planning stage now of replacing the vinyl headliner on my Islander 28 sailboat. Thank you for your video.
