Am i the only one who finds Dgon a little bit annoying and awkward? Like of all the podcasts out there he's probably the worst host in my opinion. I don't hate him (he's fine) but I don't think he provides that much to the show.

I cleaned my room for the first time this year, and while sweeping under the bed, I heard my broom collide with something. To my surprise I found Bwipo, Santorin, Bjergsen, Hans sama, and CoreJJ hiding under my bed! My dad said “ don’t bother sweeping them son, they've already been swept!!” I was shocked but not surprised.
This was the first year I actually bothered to follow LCS. For the most part I snoozed through, but the drama is nice. My hope for C9 is that they ditch Summit and Summit joins a team that goes to worlds and C9 goes to worlds. They get drafted in the same group and C9 bans all of Summits champions.
Singed main here: Not really. A single ornament provides more value than singed late game. Not to mention singed can very rarely be picked. It has to be the perfect team comp where the enemy drafts full dive.

Assuming the Summit things are true, then only players I’d like to stay would be Fudge as top laner, Blaber, & Berserker. With the right mid laner and support this team would have so much potential, especially if Berserker actually got the opportunity to get played around, as even in loses he seems to play it as well as you could with how horrendous those drafts were.
Same kinda sad they didn't play Darshan. His been is performing in Academy. He legit plays whatever his team needed to play and lets Malice play comfort champs.
Honestly if Blaber wasn't so ingrained in the org by now I'd say get Darshan and Malice from academy. Suddenly the team is on the same page in that they all try to play smart as well as 3 players that will play whatever they need to win. Pick up a decent support in the off season who isn't a onetrick or inter. Now you have a team that can win on their own as well as an insane ADC as insurance. Individual mechanical skill would be lower but flexibility in draft would more than make up for it.
This episode gave me depression. The best storyline in the history of LOL (maybe all esports) was ruined by C9, I'm so sad imagining that story that will never be told.

A change from the boring meta games that we are used to most of the year. The 2 weeks LS was drafting in LCS was the most fun (by a lot) I had watching LOL considering I've been watching since season 4. To be fair, the time when Perkz lane swapped to ADC to get Caps into the team is up there too, but the change wasn't as big as this could have been.

it’s about authority at the end of the day. in hs i had one of the best technical coaches in the country as our main coach. we didn’t listen to him bc he broke his leg and fell on the pool deck. no amount of in game knowledge will get ppl to listen to you if u don’t have their respect

They still play the exact same style that will get them clapped internationally because the other regions also play that style but have 5 players that are astronomically better at the game. So 100t winning means that no team in NA has improved since last year and there isn't gonna be any excitement for MSI. TL and C9 at least have/had promise to play a style that isn't mono red. NA as a region cannot play "outplay to win" playstyles because their players do not compare to Asia. Following what LPL and LCK are doing will never work for them because LPL/LCK are more practiced, more talented and more familiar with those styles.

The thing is they were winning early all three games against an early game comp so there should be no reason for them to willingly give up free drakes. As a winning team you can set up slow pushing lanes to the point where it's a lose lose situation if C9 do try to contest for drakes. So yes at the end of the day, EG is bad at macro and it's no surprise given their play style why they do so well in scrims.
To add to what's already been said. There's a difference between saying they dont want to go for drakes to go for gold and actually being able to do this effectively. It's just a very hard thing to execute in general, because if it gets out of control, the other team has a soul and you lost the game. The only team in the world that consistently does this correctly is T1, and even then they almost lost game 3 of the finals because they allowed a soul to GenG. You have to walk a very fine line between actually pulling this off, and getting completely punished by a good team, and EG just isnt there.
