The difference is in the gay church everyone feels accepted, happy and loved by one another, but in the hateful church people feel angry and hateful towards the people around them. I live in New Orleans and see these guys every single year. It's not just Decadence though it's Mardi Gras, too. Anything that they can perceive as being "indulgence" or "too much fun" is protested by these types of people.
