You know you're a true Disneylander when you 1: remember where each vampire teddy bear is. 2: hear the flowers clicking. 3: can smell the gingerbread 4: can smell the dust 5: memorized all the boogie gifts.
11:29 is my favorite. I love the music, singing, screams, and the creepy toy sound effects (especially the monstrous train with tentacle tracks and toy duck) 👏🏼
for some reason i find this soothing ... idk if its bc i know its from disneyland or just a part of disney in general and is based on one of my favorite movies .... dont get me wrong i love the normal haunted mansion
I, of course, love the ride year round but something about the way they decorate it during the holidays just makes it so so so much better in my opinion- this was awesome to hear!!!
I've never gotten to ride Haunted Mansion Holiday but I am a huge fan of the Haunted Mansion and Nightmare Before Christmas!! I listen to this so much and I cannot wait to ride it in person!!!
Yeah the ride is really fun. I have so many fond memories of when I was about 5-6 years old and I would ride this with my dad Everytime we visited Disneyland(at the time that was every Saturday)
It’s probably the best holiday overlay in the park, it’s honestly quite beautiful. Idk if you’ve seen what it looks like yet but trust me it’s worth the long wait times!
I can’t believe this was fucking Cad Bane/Count Dooku/Zirro The Hutt from Clone Wars and Hugo Strange from Batman Arkham City, Corey Burton did an incredible job impersonating Paul Frees Ghost Host voice that I always thought it was Paul rather than Corey! He’s incredible! Please pardon my language as well, I can’t get over how talented this guy is!
So happy to returns to this ride! ❤ Fun Fact: John Debney (Phantom Manor, Hocus Pocus, Elf, The Jungle Book) composed this soundtrack based on the original Danny Elfman themes from the movie (later Elfman composed the Mystic Manor soundtrack)
My absolute favorite ride and theming. I just adore Nightmare Before Christmas, spooky music boxes, all things like that. I adore it! Thank you for uploading!
being able to ride the magic kingdom version anytime I want, I found this version is targeted toward people like me who rode the original 10000 times and need a fresh experience.
Interesting that disney has 2 different soundtracks that they play for the haunted mansion holiday. To be honest, I enjoy this one much more with the music playing throughout the halls of the mansion up until the graveyard scene being different and in my opinion, much better.
Is it bad that I’m adding this to my music playlist? Lol I love listening to Disneyland rides because I miss it so much. It makes me feel like I’m there.
They only used the old soundtrack the first year that Haunted Mansion Holiday opened, because they didn’t have the rights to the nightmare before Christmas music
Well this music was “Copyrighted” and Disney only funded Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas when it came out, once they got the rights they ended up changing the music and claiming The Nightmare Before Christmas as their property after it’s success with the movie and this overlay!!
I think they need to Update the Stretching Room of Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare (TDL Version) instead of the Statue of Jack's head to the Projection mini-movie just like in Disneyland
In my opinion, the original is still way better than the holiday overlay. Like, do we need it for about 1/3 of the year? The original will always be best in my heart.
I think the Grim Grinning Ghosts arrangement could've benefited greatly from having more saxophone and klezmer clarinet going to town. That would stick to Nightmare's ensemble/sound while paying homage to the jazzy bluegrass-y qualities of GGG. Nightmare's jazz band in general, really. saxophone as a lead, accordion for chords, and double bass. Said instruments would also have more of the spotlight at the start. They'd become less prominent as you pass by the trio's animatronics but wouldn't disappear from the mix completely. They'd become softer-playing doublings for other instruments that carry more power. Placing these hypothetical animatronics for the trio on the front gate's side that's opposite to the gravedigger feels like it'd be appropriate too, for some reason. That isn't to say it would improve this exact arrangement that's already here. It'd probably have to be a different version to be used in some later year.
T’was a long time ago, longer now than it seems… in a place that perhaps you’ve seen in your dreams… for the story that you are about to be told, began in the holiday worlds of old… I know you’re curious to see what’s inside, it’s what happens when two holidays collide…
As Jack sprang to his sleigh 3 hitchhikers he spied they said Sandy Claws may we please have a ride? But Jack waved goodbye for he could not stay he had much to deliver before Christmas Day! May Jack's "ghostly presents" now follow you home and stay in your hearts where're you may roam. For now you know what happens when holidays meet, you might get a trick or a holiday treat.
Right now all haunted mansions (except Paris) are being turned into this. Also in the uk shops are already selling Halloween stuff. It’s only July lol.

Well, the soundtrack is made from excerpts of Elfman’s score of Nightmare Before Christmas but the orchestrations and arrangements are made by John Debney.
Kind of glad we dont go to disneyland. Cause we go to disneyworld once every year during christmas (cause its colder). And i wouldnt get to see the normal haunted-mansion if this was here every time
I've been trying to find it as well. The voice audio is only part of the doomboogy you are on. Though the actual instrumental music is off-ride or the surrounding music. I hope someone does make it one day.

You know you love Disneyland when you can listen to the ride music and know what area the ride would be at in that moment

The toys are so chaotic, I love them
Disney land is closed and all but we can still listen to these kinds of music to bring us back to the place where most of our memories where made
I wonder what this would have sounded like if they stuck to the original A Christmas Carol idea...
I'm glad that they didn't.
I can’t describe how much I love the Haunted Mansion

Same as well, and their counterparts that id love to ride someday (Phantom Manor and Mystic Manor)
It’s literally my favorite ride of all time :)
This is scary and soothing like really scary but soothing with headphones on

I agree. Although my mom thinks that the original mansion's soundtrack is scarier. I don't think so.

“13 rings of power.” I wonder which ones she found? I thought all of them were destroyed when Sauron was defeated...
What? Are you talking about the haunted mansion movie? I haven't seen it in a long time. So I can't remember if it is part of the movie.
Dont let Sauroman hear you!!!
I think it was more than 13 rings. 9 for the elves, 4 for the dwarves, and I dont remember how many for men. And there was the ring to rule them all
