Great video. I got the p 24 yesterday, going good so far, I like the motion detection and the notifications are fast. I’m using this through my window to keep an eye on my car lol pretty decent camera, I’m surprised for the price. Is the playback all the recordings? I’m currently using an 64gb sd card works fine.
Is there a video somewhere that I could see the actual tracking? Isn't this supposed to be able to track something walking around?

Use any solar panel for it just wire it to the power cord to control the power as a voltage regulator

Thank God you like it bc I just bought it! I bought the "Blurams" last week & it's crap. Alexa doesn't recognize it nor Alexa on my Fire 10. It starts recording me in the am & it shouldn't bc I didn't setup a schedule. I mainly need it on while I'm away from the room I rent. It's a long story why my room is accessible but never did I dream my things would get stolen! Keep your enemies closer? Hell no, it's the friends I'm having to watch - POS'

A few questions, can you please confirm for me:
1) Is there a fee/subscription for viewing remotely (outside of your wifi network)?
2) Does the app also notify you of motion for free?
3) If you buy 2 cameras, can you access both through the app?
New to this so I wasn't sure. I do know that a lot of companies require a subscription for apps/features (not just cloud storage).
Hi, 1 = Yes its free to view and manage locally and remotely 2 = Yup push notification to your device 3 = Yup all devices manageable through the app - Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the video, I was wondering how good (or bad) the people and pet motion sensor works, and does it auto record and become remote viewable for playback while away?
Hi, I don.t have a Pet but the People detection is good! It auto records on motion and then this is instantly available to you in the App whether you're home or away. It also does this cool thing where it will zoom in on the persons face and put this as part of the notification. Many Thanks

I was thinking about mounting this on the ceiling of my main living area to capture everything including front and back door. Sucks it can't run continuously without being plugged in!
Can't be ran at all without being plugged in as it's a mains powered unit not battery.

There’s no such thing as a thick question, well at least not here on my channel. Yes you still can view and record remotely proving you have a MicroSD card in the camera as it has no inbuilt storage 🙂
Does this indoor camera need to be charged up first what if the adapter is lost what adapter can you use
It’s not a battery camera so needs to be connected to mains power all the time. It uses a micro usb cable.

It can only see 360 from where you place it so would only see the entirety of a room for example.
Good sized room, curious about the curtains, undecided about the requirement for an internal camera.

Can you save the clips of alerts of move in the movil when you are away? I mean if the cam is stolen
I am very interested in knowing what the trigger time is to capture a human in the image. I bought a competing product, pointed it out the window to my driveway, the purpose of which is to detect anyone on the driveway. (yes yes, I know, put a camera outside... but... ) I found in my testing, if I walked fast, and transited the image in less than 5 seconds, the image recorded did not include me. The Eufy has my attention, but i want to know if my use case can be handled or not. Can it detect a human in 2.5 seconds or less , and get an image of said human near that timeframe? I have relegated the competing product to a less important role. Thank you.

Hi, thanks for the video. I have recently started to look at the eufy cameras to have a good ecosystem at home for video coverage indoor, outdoor and alarm system. Not sure whether to go for these solo cams or Homebase compatible ones, can you advice? Understand that homebase is good for central storage but then what’s the need of solo ones?
The standalone ones I have looked at so this one, and the external floodlight ones seem to standalone cause they are powered individually that’s only thin that seems to make sense although I am speculating. Personally I prefer wireless.
With an external battery I use this cam as dashcam...

I'm on a limited data plan and I already have the 1080p video doorbell with homebase and it only streams video on bell button being pressed or motion detection.... I assume this camera work's on the same principle ie on demand or motion detection and then notification to mobile ... Am I correct....

Hey Steve, yes you're correct although there is also the option to record 24/7 to the local storage if you choose.
Question: is the wifi connection between the router and the Eufy camera secure? I'm worried about it being hacked. You have any experience with it?
All systems are susceptible to hacking. I’ve been using eufy for a year now and love it. Obviously no system is perfect but eufy is going to be the apple of cameras later!

It’s mains powered only I’m afraid.

Hi. I have the Floodlight 360 Camera out front. It picks up motion and records in the App. Does the indoor camera record in the same way or is it local storage only? If someone steals the camera, would I have a recording of them on the phone App still?
I also have the floodlight 360 out front but when your viewing this via the app your still viewing it from the local storage on the camera as it’s not yet Homebase compatible which is why you see a download option from within the app. The indoor cam is the same.
Can i just operate it as a live stream video and not get the SD card?
And once it’s set up, can I operate the pan tilt through the app when I’m away from home on holiday?
Yes i guess there is no reason why you cant monitor the live feed and not record! Yes the PTZ features can be controlled in the app from any location you choose. Thanks for your question.

Nice system but Eufy doesn't have a powerful outdoor siren or strobe light. Burglars are deterred by a powerful siren, which the Eufy system does not have. Eufy does have a beeper (alarm) on the homebase and the camera, but with that you tell the burglar exactly where the camera and the Eufy homebase are. If he also takes it with him, then you have nothing because the video images are stored on the home baze! And the beeper sound is far from powerful.
How many cameras can you add to the app? is there a limit, say you wanted 5 or 6 cameras can they all be controlled from the app
You can add up to 16 cameras to the Homebase or 5 (if you have an iPhone) that are standalone I believe.
@@scottpinhorne Ok so 5 cameras max for the standalone app on iPhone. Got it. I guess they will port the stand alone to a base station at some point, but 5 cameras out of the box with the app is handy enough for a decent amount of coverage. Thanks for the quick reply, appreciated.

I haven't got an internal one for my hallway ceiling yet due to lack of power :-(
how is the camra works so far? what is the speed to open the camera in the app and playback? any lag or delay?
It takes a few seconds to connect and display when initially opening hit other then this all is fast and responsive 😀

I know it supports up to 128gb sd card. But seeing as how it would record with motion it seems a little overkill. Could you elaborate why someone wouldn't be good with a 32gb or 64gb? What greater benefits would you get with a 128gb sd card? Thanks.
Hi, there is no benefit to using a larger SD card other than being able to store more recordings :-)

Can you record to homekit AND at the same time to the sd card?
If homekit captures an RSTP stream then it could be recorded to both like it could be on a NAS but i have not used homekit so cannot be sure. Thanks for your comment.
What happens when sd card is full? Does it just overwrite oldest stuff ?

DO NOT BUY. I bought 4 for indoor use while I’m travelling. One small power cut and the cameras all fail to reconnect to the wifi so they are totally useless now.
not a good camera, even you set it to detects person only, it still detects all movements, my still motorbike flagged as motion detected, stupid camera.

Cameras are STIL NOT compatible with Homebase. 3 years ago Eufy stated that Homebase compatibility for their floodcams were "in development", and that camera is still not compatible with homebase. So any "comming soon" statements from Eufy are uttery useless. This company is a joke.
Homebase 3 is coming September which may also include a Homebase 2 update so fingers crossed
