And these creators simply choose a real life scan of something and scale it properly to fit it in minecraft, which is kind of simple due to the textures are mostly squares, which have the same dimension as the texture resolution. 2k Resolution as itself is dedicated as really performance friendly normally. Skyrim modding offers 8k Textures to install, which can be runned consistent on modern rigs. The problem with 2k and minecraft is, that every loaded block loads a 2k Texture at the same time, which bloats the Vram and Ram. And another problem is, that the texture pattern is small compared to other games. In some games the ground relies on a huge surface, in minecraft it relies on a huge amount of seperately renderes blocks which repeat this 2k Pattern way too often. So this single 2k Texture gets used way too often and thats the problem. Another problem is the one with Texturemaps like normals, speculars, parallax, bumpmap etc. These need to be loaded for each diffuse texture again, and their resolution in these packs is often 2k aswell. So every side of a single block can load up to 4 2k Textures at once.
Install Optifine, then you can run it. This man just knows how to properly set his graphics in the options menu. The standard GPU to run BASIC shaders is a GTX 1060ti. Now you would want something more powerful if you wanna run it with mods, resource packs, etc. His 3090 being a prime example. So you really don’t need a super computer to play Minecraft you just need to understand basic computer parts/graphics options.

Every high graphics gamer wants sheders in minecraft. But only true minecraft players know that nothing is better than playing minecraft with 480p resolution, 6chunks render distance, no sheders and lowest settings and getting 25 fps.
I genuinely would love an update of this video, but also using as many performance mods as possible to see just how many performance mods are needed to squeeze out the best looking minecraft possible...at pretty much unplayable fps. XD

I just turned on my old laptop which I used to play on... Basic navigation of menus was painfully slow. I don't know how it could have ever handled minecraft at a decent frame rate. I guess it's the difference between windows 8 and 10
i tried this with my pc. Its actually extremely beautiful. Especially when I'm in a foggy biome. It feels like I'm really there. Because of the smoke coming out of my PC its really immersive.

I can see this guy everywhere since around this pandemic started. What made him commenting on every single vid in such a sort period of time? Just check in some of your recommendatios' comments and he mostly be there (usually contents of memes or *viral* videos, where there are lots of views)
@@roberthunka there is a rumor that Ray Mak gathers video titles and makes comments based on the video titles alone, since it was made obvious he made comments with no accordance to the video contents. Maybe he also gathers some stills from videos and thumbnails. But this is just a speculation I've heard online.

@@hi-gh9fy It's because java is crap for games unless they're very simple (such as vanilla minecraft was back in 2011). The bedrock version (made in c++) runs in literally anything.
