- I have completed the first week of my preoperative diet for my weight loss surgery! Watch the video to see how it went - what went well and what needs improvement.
Omg! I absolutely loved listening to you crying because you could smell chinese 😂😂😂😂 This is so honest and so me. Im on the waiting list in the UK for bariatric surgery and the thought of the two week preop diet already makes me feel anxious.
I am on day two of my pre-op diet. It is a real challenge. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Thank you for making these videos
I am finding them super helpful and encouraging ❤️
I am so extremely proud of you! This is something that I have been so afraid of. But seeing you be so honest and open is definitely making me feel like it’s okay that I’m feeling the way that I am. So thank you so much for sharing your journey.
I just watched your nine month after video. You look younger today. I admire your honesty.
Oh thank you!
Going back into your channel to follow your journey, you were always so bright and beautiful! You seem so kind hearted and that's such an important piece of a person. Thanks for uploading these :)
Thank you so much!!
Can't wait to see week two! Definitely can relate to the emotions of this all!
Oh, the emotional roller coaster of it all!
You’re doing so great! Keep kicking a** 😊. And you did great at keeping the hangry in check at the family day! Xoxo
Haha - good to know I wasn't a beast on the outside!
I know this video was made a year ago, but I soooo needed to watch this! I am on my second week of pre op diet and trying so hard not to eat what I’m NOT supposed to. Good to see that the struggle was not just me 😅. Thank you for sharing your story!
You got this!
Hi Nicole. Im just got insurance approval and am set to meet with my surgeon for consult and a surgery date at the end of the month. My program is one that does just straight liquid diet. I asked my dietician about it and she said exactly whatyou have described! lmao That most people eat more than they are supposed to, that eating at all just sets you up with the chance to binge, over eat or eat things you shouldnt be, and that many just dont "get" the pre op diet and what they should eat. So, IDK, whats worse! lol Im binge watching your videos tonight and tomorrow to get caught up on your journey;; New subbie too!
You've got this - so glad to be on this journey with you!
I do this too, my brain hates throwing away food. I'm week 2 preop and I cheated once, eating the leftover soup out of my partner's bowl that had been left out with a piece of stale bread... Of all the things... I saw it there and my impulse took over 😭😂 back on track now. Food smells way too good now too.
We can do this 💪💪
We've got this!
GOOD JOB
Wow! My pre op liquid diet was 2 weeks liquids/protein shakes only. Every doctor has their own diet plans. After the first week, I lost my appetite completely, which helped me out a lot, although I had to force the protein because I really needed.
Wow - you have my admiration for getting through those two weeks! Congrats!
@@nicoleislosingit Thank you so much! It wasn’t easy but I pushed through and I’m so glad I did😊 I’m post op and on soft foods now.
I just started my pre-op diet, surgery is in 2 weeks. My doctor says I can have unlimited non starchy veggies and broth. I can only have 6 oz of lean protein a day but I can have 2-3 protein shakes a day. I'm not allowed sugar free jello and I want some sooo bad! lol I also can't have any fruit at all, I get nothing sweet. :( Fingers crossed I make it the whole 2 weeks without cheating.
