    I like your custom work on the windshield, roof light and your ice chest latches. Looks nice, good work. Most people can appreciate cool mods done for function. I bet that is a fun machine.

      Thanks, I appreciate it! I want to get to the point where I can make other custom things for it. It is for sure a fun machine!

      This is my first rzr and I love it! My mom used to have a rzr 800s and I would rip the hell out of it! They have come a long ways that’s for sure

    Nice video man. And great looking car! I’m waiting on my 22 xp4 ultimate 👍

      Thank you! What is your wait time on the xp4? I have heard several people getting their dates pushed back further and further. Hopefully you get it soon!

      @@SchmidtysOffroad right now not supposed to ship until mid December. I knew I was going to have to wait so I’m not super upset. As long as I have it beginning of next year I’ll be happy. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos I’m subscribing. Do you know anyone with an XP 4 that you could showcase?

      Thanks I appreciate it! There is actually someone looking to join our ATV/UTV club in Kansas and they actually have the exact same Pro as me but 4 seat version. If they join, I'll have to see if I could make a video of it!

      @@SchmidtysOffroad that would be cool man. There just isn’t much out there that I have found. I know there basically the same but just interested to see how they are after some hard riding. Spring settling, new creaks and squeaks type of stuff ya know

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure! I will have to talk with them and see how it does in our trails because some areas are tight and I want to know how well it gets around being so much longer. The turning radius on the Pro in general is very good though.

    This is my dream rzr except for all the blue items being lime green

    • @SchmidtysOffroad

      Yeah I love the color of this one but the blue has to go lol. My plan is to change it up next year so we will see! I just finished my cage and tree kickers and those are white. Im thinking all white suspension to match would be bad ass

    Picking my 2022 ultimate up sometime tomorrow…. I must say a little disappointed I had to purchase a roof as much as it cost smh should’ve been standard like the turbo s was

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I 100% agree with you. The ultimate trim package should come with a few extras besides the suspension. I think the new models come with the full doors but I had to but the little inserts to close off the bottom half. In my opinion that and the roof should be standard.

    Great video man, I have the exact same machine but the 4 seat and love it. I ordered mine and they told me 2 to 4 weeks and it did take almost 4 months.....crazy. Question for ya, did you wire your light bar to the pulse bar? Some have said this bar does not have the power for this and other accessories just wondering your thoughts and how you did it. Thank you!

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have everything on mine wired to the pulse bar right now but you want to make sure to wire the bigger things like the light bar and make sure it’s not wired for keyed on power. I think there is only a 10A fuse for keyed on power accessories so I only have some small LED lights on that. My bigger accessories are always hot and just controlled through a toggle switch!

    Those tender springs looks pretty compressed. They recalled them on my 2020 pro xp ultimate, but I had already changed to Shock Therapy springs. I would highly recommend Shock Therapy springs. I noticed it appears to be squatting a little in the rear that’s why I noticed it. I run 32’s on mine and I would definitely put a clutch kit with adjustable weights. You don’t realize how much better you can fine tune it and it will make the belt last longer.

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are getting pretty bad that’s for sure. After we went to the dunes and rode hard I think it took even more life out of those tenders lol. I haven’t decided what springs I want to go with yet. So many companies claim they have the best but I’m starting to think they are all pretty much the same and all better than stock. I’m back to running stock tires for now and when I upgrade I will probably do clutching at the same time to help with belt life and engagement like you said.

    • @Jay-gs5xg
      @Jay-gs5xg 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@SchmidtysOffroad Shock Therapy will ask you the type of terrain you mainly ride, what accessories you have, where the added weight is, how much the driver weighs, and how much the average passenger weight is. They make each spring specific for your vehicle. If you have more or less accessories than I have then you would get different spring rates than my pro xp. They also have a lifetime guarantee that they won’t sag. You will not regret it. The pro xp suspension will compress enough for the bottom of the machine to hit on flat ground, which is kind of ridiculous that they would do that. The 32” tires give it just enough clearance that at full bottom out the skid plates will not hit the ground. I have the same skid plate and love it. With the springs and 32’s I never bottom out anymore on high speed rough terrain. 1,450 hard miles and that machine still amazes me every time I drive it. The clutch isn’t too bad with 30’s but definitely needed with 32’s.

    Can you show how you wired the side mirrors please

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      With my windshield its a little bit of a pain to take the dash apart. Long story short, the mirrors came with a harness that I cut to length and I used a pulse plug adapter from amazon and wired it directly to the pulse bar right behind the ride command screen. Overall it was very easy to do once I had the dash taken apart!

    When you bought did you pay off and then wait or just put deposit? I’m wondering if that makes difference in delivery time.

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just called and put my $500 deposit down and then about a month later it came in. That was before things got crazy and things like computer chips and what not stopped getting shipped over seas. I got lucky when I ordered mine. The same dealer is saying up to 4 months wait time now where mine was 4 weeks.

  • @kylebeall1889

    Why not move the mirrors up higher if you can’t see past the rear fenders?

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was thinking about it but with them being led, there wasn’t enough wire to run them all the way up and I didn’t want to have to zip tie the wire to the side of the cage. I do think that would work though if you have normal mirrors! The only other reason I like them lower is they shine light in some of the hidden areas around the front of the tires where if it was mounted higher, they will be shining too far past those spots if that makes sense.

    Thinking about moving from my 2020 XP Turbo to an XP pro. Do you have any experience with the XP Turbo for comparison?

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have rode in one a few times so I would say the power is pretty similar. The Pro pulls a little harder in my opinion but the main reason I got it was for the room inside. You have way more leg room/shoulder room compared to the older models. The 6” longer wheelbase is also nice in certain situations.

    • @HillRZRs
      @HillRZRs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SchmidtysOffroad thanks, yes the roominess and overall just nicer interior is what’s really drawing me to it.

    • @SchmidtysOffroad
      @SchmidtysOffroad  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I will say it comes with drawbacks having the longer wheel base if you do rock ledges often. We went to Moab and me being longer I would get hung up on some ledges when a 900s in our group bounced right up. But it doesn’t bother me enough to not want the machine.

    • @HillRZRs
      @HillRZRs 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@SchmidtysOffroad we really don’t rock crawl a lot. Our group is mostly trail riders, river crossings and occasional mud. I agree, I don’t think it outweighs all the “pros” the machine brings to the table.
