      After I seen my friends 2021 rzr xp 4 turbo I wouldn’t want to be anywhere close. The primary blew so hard it literally bent multiple frame areas, inner and outer covers, secondary, fuel lines, coolant lines, plus many more and ejected parts well over 100 yards it was like a bomb went off.

      They did test with 35's but as "corporate Polaris" they aren't saying they will honor warranties if big 35's cause issues, which was my main takeaway. But Pro Armor has a 35 that was on one of the display cars. If I buy one I would run 35's on it.

    Appreciate all that feedback in detail as you could, if I was there myself trying to absorb everything I’m sure it was information overload lol. I remember my 18 turbo S drove how you described the 2 seat pro R. Chattery little stuff even in comfort. I have a 21 turbo S now for product development that I swear has been smoothed right out in comparison.
    That said, as I have both turbo R and pro R on route, I’m really hoping the pro R is stiff at beginning and maybe few hundred miles starts to smooth out.
    Hope you love your X3 as I have the 2020 195 as well and love it. Biggest complaint is suspension. I feel banged up at the end of a ride, turbo S I feel nothing after. Hope Pro R same.
    But you can’t Deny! That Turbo RR power delivery ever!

    not quite enough to upgrade from an x3 still imo, only if your buying new. Now that things are officially launched the real question is what does can am answer with exactly. Considering they are firmly on record saying they wont lose a hp war, its a darn good time to be in this hobby/sport. Competition is a great thing, would be nice if Robby actually came through with the speed as well as if honda and kawi brought a turbo to market.

    Wow changing a blown belt in the middle of a ride is going to be a pain in the @ss on the Pro R. Especially after you change the seats and put the harnesses through them. But then again, like everything else, there is always some give and take. Great video and feedback.

  • @jbl91762
    @jbl91762 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great review thanks! Amazing how the SXS industry is evolving and Polaris Speed and Im sure CanAM is and will be releasing. Great for the riding community for sure but that comes with killer price tag! Speaking of killer, it may be that belt and clutch right behind the folks in the cabin. 225 hp stock pushing a seriously heavy car at full speeds 80 plus and a belt blowing??? Yikes I would not want to be around that. Also notice how they didnt talk about how to change the belt. It appears you will need to remove both seats just to get to it. What happens when you go aftermarket and then have real harnesses you also need to take off? Great sounding car but come one Polaris, drop a 2.0 4 and still use a rubber band to push all that weight?

  • @johndeerefarmer4483
    @johndeerefarmer4483 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The honor warranty on 1" bigger than stock, but did do testing with 35's and then they got quiet, as they don't want to say too much, but basically the car can handle 35's is what I took away from it. The accessories company they own, Pro Armor, had a car on display with 35's on it.

      Turbo R as the components are much beefier and improved. The harder question is "How much more is that worth" as I'm sure there is a big price difference. I would still be patient and wait for the Turbo R. As good as the Turbo S is, this is big jump forward in a lot of critical areas IMO.
