Thanks for doing the playthrough and sharing your thoughts Karl.
    A couple rules clarifications:
    - James already pointed it out, matching the faction icon of the warden card is how a player may take a warden action.
    - At 26:40 the gear token should come from the supply and not from the AI player’s gears.
Really nice playthrough and final thoughts. You make some good points. Thanks again for taking the time to make the video.

Thanks for checking out the video and for the clarification. I'm not sure how I completely missed that rule about the warden ability. Also, figured since the AI was the one playing the card, they paid the cost, thanks for the clarification there as well.

@@PurpleMoosePlays It was only 1 point for the AI underbidding but the AI needs all the help it can get since you were crushing it 😀

Ok. But its posible the supply there arent tokens ?

One small thing: at 30:22 (during gameplay) & 42:10 (final analysis), to take the warden action, the faction ICON on your bid card (not the suit of the card) must match the faction icon of the warden card. You played the swords (?), which didn't match the warden's wolf (or dragon?) icon. Regardless, thanks for posting this. Your camerawork and explanations of gameplay were very clear and helped me to clear up a couple of questions I had. Congrats on the win!

Thanks for that catch, I completely read that wrong in the rules. I swore it was suit and not faction icon. I've been playing that wrong every time... I'm glad the rest of the video was helpful though!

@@PurpleMoosePlays I played my first solo game incorrectly too. I neglected to put out a card initially to start my vault and thus played ten rounds. Glavrun ran out of cards. Oops. I was intrigued by your comments on how to level up the difficulty. Other than giving Glavrun FIVE gears per matching faction icon (!) I wonder if changing the warden phase rules wouldn't help as well. As they're written now, the rules state "The player always gets to decide whether the warden card is swapped with one of the three cards in the block." I used this action frequently, to "save" a card for later use, to put gears out of reach from Glavrun, and to change the trump suit so that I could then get what I wanted over the next turn(s). What if the first player token moved after each turn between the player's faction cards and the two AI faction cards? That way, you would only be able to swap out the warden card every third turn. I'm going to give it a try and see if there's an impact.

I was interested in this one for much the same reasons as you - a solo bidding game, in a small box, which sets up and plays quickly, from a publisher with a solid track record. Definitely will be checking this one out!

rratum? When IA places a lower bid the manual says to place a coin from the general reserve. I don't find sense, AI should place the currency from its own reserve, but manual say "supply"

Sorry, I don't understand the question. The rules state that the AI always adds gears from the general supply, not their own supply.
