I played about 10 games solo now and enjoy it a lot. Just the right amount of puzzle for an entry gamer like myself. Too bad there's no scenarios/campaigns setup, so I sometime use a dice to choose goal cards randomly.
I got my self Roll Player base on your recommendation and Cartographers on All you can board channel recommendation and have to say both, on their own accords are quite fun. However for this one I will need to check some playthroughs to see if it is up my alley.
Sucks when a game deserves an 8 but gets a 7 from minor things like that. Seems like such easy things to catch during playtesting. But what would I know..

i'd rather play this than Carto, but not Roll Player.

What are your ratings at the different player counts?
Best with 4-5, not worth it 1-3.
