great video. i actually remembered that i havent touched the DLC for this game yet outside of the shifting mountains mission for armor farming. ive recently gone back to 4.1 because i still want to plat it and also to help with the wait for edf6. it's been a few years since i cleared all difficulty levels with WD and that was brutal, especially that legendary mission 87. 5k armor and splitscreen and it was still very hard but oh so fun😁 game still holds up well for me! im playing with ranger now. plan is to just 1p clear everything with ranger, maybe splitscreening the super difficult ones with my 5.5k armor WD if needed. then just splitscreen clear missions for fencer and AR. i actually havent tried fencer and AR much in this game as opposed in 5. in no small part because you need to farm armor and weapons separately for every character... trying not to play too much though just so edf6 is as fresh as possible for me. im not one of those ppl that likes to replay older titles in a series right before a new one comes out and yes monster-s being trishot does make it a bit tricky to use if you dont watch it, but it's still a solid weapon regardless
Hi. Thanks. This mission is really good, and AR and WD are stellar here (I have AR's strategy too here). DLC for 4.1 is a half pleasure. Half the missions either absolutely suck or are stupidly hard. WD, like all classes, has some troubles in a few missions. She's not as easy to use as in 5. But she's more interesting. I have in my blog a breakdown of all hard missions and which classes are good or not there. My opinion of course. I think I have all classes except AR well below 2k armor in EDF 4.1. I have AR near 4k, but that happens because he's the split screen farming main guy because m88, m86 and m82 which are easy and quick and my main weapon farming missions are quite easy with him. EDF 5 and 6 provide obnoxious amounts of armor crates. I have around 10k-12k or more on all classes in 5, and around 8k in 6 and I don't farm armor at all. Split screen is heaven when there's a mission that sucks with a particular class, just cheese it with another.
It can but you need Idunn-FF (others will be crappy, be careful with Custom 2), a good Thunder Bow or Thunder Sniper 6 or 40. Other weapons will be crappy. Already told you about other good missions in the campaign for her (excluding DLC).
Fun but not easy mission for him. The choices are AF100 and either Stringer J7 or Stingray MF. Important is to destroy all but one of the tunnels of the first wave. The best one to leave is one of the central ones. With MF then level down the whole port area (total level), so that you have Stingray access to all tunnels in 2nd wave. When this is done, destroy the last tunnel. Focus first after on Silvers tunnel, you can be all the way to the left to have more time to deal with incoming enemies. Only hit tunnels on one side to avoid aggroing too many enemies. Then go for the central goldies. Right end corner goldies third. J7 you can do a similar trick to what I did with WD. Leave central tunnel to last, have J7 ready, finish last tunnel with AF100, and then switch toJ7 when tunnels are spawning to destroy all central ones (J7 is piercing) . With J7 will be harder to get rid of silvers tunnel, many will be easy from left side of map. Patience and some luck are required. NPCs usually die when silvers and goldies come. I have here photo of tunnels with the nasty 3: cris3fgametipsandgrumbles.blogspot.com/2022/09/edf-41-missions-data-info-tips-and.html You can try Stamped or a Grenada but you'll need a lot of armor and it's extremely unreliable (AF100 as a choice). Within weapon limits this would be even more nasty. Hope this helps.
@@cris3f yes ive been using the AF100 and Stringray MF...also tried with Stampede XM (which really saved my hide in some missions before this one)...i guess i need to be more patient, haha. thanks for the blog post with the image, im going to try it again right today after homework!
@@lindeschoon1825 There's also this which is useful: leafierlemon.com/edf4.1/misshuu.html?lang=en Leafier is good... I forgot to say. With MF you must waste both the front goldies and the silvers tunnel in the first attack. The reason is that NPCs usually die in that mob. Stay on the road that goes to the port in the intersection to the one that goes left. When the tunnels are gone (you'll likely have to blow up a normal spiders one too that will be on the way to the silvers one), start going left. With the port area leveled you have next access to the last goldies tunnel. The problem with MF is self blows thanks to crap in the road or worse, NPCs (dumb idiots, EDF soldiers training is dreadful 😋😋😂😂) Stampede is too damn unreliable. I have little patience to use it. I forgot, the level 55 Firecracker would be better than Stampede, but I hate it too.
