Anne is one of the few celebrities I would *honestly* say only gets better with age. Her face has character, unlike a lot of these celebrities that copy one another in their surgeries-- and her features are naturally just so gorgeous.
I remember when I first saw her on screen as a kid, just completely in awe of how could a person looking so perfect like that actually exists, even though people used to hate her for no reason back then.
I wish she hadn't gone with the "weight loss and start dressing fashionably" to elevate her career like Brittany Murphy also did instead of relying upon their acting skills.
I remember when she got a lot of hate, and it seemed to be because she was seen as a know-it-all, pretentious theater kid. I don't really agree with that, but I can see why people said that. So it wasn't that there was "no reason" for the hate, but the main reason sure was a dumb one. I always thought she was so naturally gorgeous, and she clearly takes her craft seriously.
I want to say her mother was quite a famous stage performer? Stage performers tend to not overdo cosmetic work as they need to really be able to emote. I wonder if that was a positive influence on Anne's approach to procedures. Admittedly, she really doesn't need anything. She clearly has good genetics, good eating/drinking habits and a good skincare routine.
I think Anne looks great, hard to believe she is in her 40s, how time flies. I still thought of her as a 20 something, I always think most people are more beautiful than they believe, I am glad she kept her natural features.
Please keep these kinds of videos coming. The way you professionally analyze her face, yet still make it seem beautiful is so encouraging. Especially surrounded by a world that wants to look the same.
Glad to see you are recovering from your alopecia❣️ I can tell with the eyebrows and the facial hair. Here's to all of it going away and a beautiful head of hair returning🙌
Whoever is doing your editing deserves a raise. The little edits and comic effects are hilarious 😂 I’ve been waiting to hear about Anne, always wondered if she’d had anything done as she is so gorgeous. I’d love to hear about Liv Tyler too, I’ve always been curious about her, she is so ethereal and gorgeous and she has said some ambiguous things about plastic surgery in the past.
The woman is also barely 40! What do you expect a 42yo to look like?? Wait until 45-50. And after that it goes very fast, each year makes a visible difference.
She's still relatively young. I'm confident she won't forego surgeries forever. Also, just as it's silly to shame people for aging naturally, it's just as silly to shame them for getting plastic surgery if they want to.
I am betting she is careful about sun exposure too. Your skin will remember every "great tan" you get at the beach and it is hard for it to recover. She also has a neutral "resting face."
All this video has proved to me, is that Anne is a natural beauty and she looks amazing. It's strange to me, when people in their 40s try to look like they are in their 20s. This just is a proof of a perfectly looking mature woman!!!
Yes!! And in fact, we can gain different features. Like Anne's eyes are beautiful and it's more prominently doe shaped which is really cute and attractive. When I age I look forward to gaining interesting/and different look and maybe I'll also get to enjoy new facial features at that time too. Anne's really a class act!
I didn’t realize she once wanted a nose job! I think her nose really fits her face. I, too, wanted a nose job for the longest time (and told everyone that my first paycheck savings would towards getting one), but thankfully I’ve come to like the roundness of it. My features are generally round anyways so I’ve decided that it fits my face enough that it’s not worth the pain or the money to get a very slightly different nose ☺️
She has found a perfect balance between beauty enhancing processes and the "don't you dare to over do it" interventions. She looks simply amazing and I appreciate your analysis.
I like your board. It’s very hi tech. Those things that everyone says are fat pads under her eyes but are really muscles, my daughter has those and calls them ‘eye bubbles.’
Great analysis as always! I'd love to see an analysis on Rachel Weisz as well. She has such a graceful, natural look to her, it would be interesting to see if she had anything done.
Gary, I love how you use medical terminology. And this new red pen writing ✍️ is great! I love it. Your videos have actually encouraged me to be proud to age naturally. And we must consider menopause naturally. Once I was post menopause, my skin drooped like an ice cream cone lol. Just like moms being proud of their stretch marks from having a baby, we must be proud of our aging skin.
Truly cannot get over how gorgeous her lip shape was! And honestly still is. I think she just gets more and more gorgeous-natural aging truly looks best on most people imo. Also helps her skin has always been flawless! She looks younger than those who are fighting their aging so hard who end up looking so plastic and puffy :/ a little help here and there I can’t blame ppl for, especially celebs, but so many go overboard now.
I don't want to enhance my face at all, but i'm not happy with my smile. My face is perfect when i don't smile, but when i do, it feels like my smile is restricted by my cheeks, like i have no room. So when i do my biggest smile, only my top 6 teeth show. I've always wondered why that was the case. Maybe i have low cheekbones.
she's confirming my decision to not start Botox until later in my 30s! and confirming that, when I tell people my secret is sunscreen and retinol, I'm not lying! she's always been so gorgeous, and I'm so happy she's allowed herself to age so beautifully 🥰
I started 2x a year at 35 and have always been great about spf and now retinol. I started because I looked angry when I wasn't (brows & forehead). Just relaxing the muscle regularly starting earlier means at 50 I still only go 2x a year on average and I have way fewer wrinkles than my friends who never have or started in their mid to late 40s. And I have all of the expression.
In 2009, AH came to our fundraiser. It instantly became clear to me then the difference between actor-beautiful vs mortal-attractive. She also had a friendly sweetness about her. Very natural -- in visuals and personality.
Dr. Linkov, your medical terminology refreshes my high school biology and anatomy classes. Thanks for not dumbing it down and not presenting this and all other cases in a non- sensationalized way. You’re a physician and a scientist and you present so well. The details with the pen were nice touch.
Anne takes her craft VERY seriously and is a big fan of method acting as well. Her features are a lot like my own; she has those English/Irish/Scottish genes, too! Love this and love the natural look she continues to embrace, and I’m proud of her for that. Excellent video! Thank you for the fresh perspective! 👌
Late 50s here. Used to get comparisons to Sian Young (the dark haired one in Blade Runner), Sigourney Weaver, and yes, a few Anne Hathaway(s). I'm on the spectrum; many of us look a decade or so younger than our chronological age. Then came menopause. Now I'm invisible. But it was a ride, I guess.
I have the same nose which I really disliked when I was young. With age comes self acceptance and now when I look at my nose, I see my dad's nose. And that makes me happy
Lol, I was always super bitter about mine since it had a prominent dorsal hump and literally no one else I was related to had one--not parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents; not cousins, aunts, or uncles. Literally no one 😂 (hence me getting the bump removed at 25 when I figured my brain was done developing so if I STILL wanted it gone and had the money, then I was gonna make my lifelong dream come true, dammit! 😝 3 years later and I have no regrets, but it's definitely not for everyone ❤
Beauty is something we’re given custody of. She was given remarkable features and she has treated them with the care they deserve. It would be terrible to take any serious risks with such a face.
One of the nicest and most talented actresses in Hollywood. Unfortunately for all of us, time flies and shows no mercy to anyone.😣 It's only fair to have something done in order to hide some of the signs of time's cruelty, especially in women's cases. Besides, she did it gracefully and looks great.❤
Dr Gary Linkov, I’m always really impressed with your videos. I’ve learnt a lot from informative videos like these, where you explain the surgeries the celebrities might have had in a respectful, informative and educational way.
she's an example of using procedures for the absolute minimum, not to roll back the clock but just to look good at any given age. that's really the healthiest attitude that can be brought to cosmetic procedures imho. also I think her in her 40s is in some ways even more beautiful than before. she has kind of that effortless Parisian look to her because she hasn't been overdone. age in itself can have beautifying effects if we give it a chance...because we so seldom see a woman in her 40s that hasn't been overly plastic surgeried... that age is now slowly becoming the new beauty standard....it's refreshing for the eye to see.
I love how Anne has stayed very minimal with the cosmetic procedures. Botox is always temporary thank goodness. I tried Botox before (I’m 43) but I didn’t like how I wasn’t able to emote my emotions through my face. So now using trentinon (sp?) for anti-aging and wearing sunscreen and getting HydraFacials have kept me looking 5-10 years younger:) Just proves that ppl don’t really NEED major cosmetic surgery (unless it’s to correct a functional and maybe a deformity) and humans are beautiful as they allow themselves to age gracefully while being wise about skincare. ❤❤ Much love to you Dr Linkov! If I ever need to see someone in your field, your the guy I’m calling:) ❤
It’s their career . Hollywood is very sexist . And vanity is a extra “Star” for them . I’m sure it’s also in most of their contracts , because basically their bodies are a commodity owned by the big Hollywood big Wigs. Looking older as a woman in Hollywood is not sellable i.e sexy sells . This is why when they start at such a Young age to get cosmetic work done - they are praised and rewarded $$. But the face can only take so much alterations before it starts looking worse . Then the movie offers come less and less . And let’s face it. There’s always the next new young pretty face to take their place . And this is the cycle . It’s like modeling . It’s over by the age of 16-17 When the body changed from a pre adolescent into a young woman . With ( Gasp!) curves ! Everybody that is in Hollywood has had some type of plastic surgery . It’s The Norm .
I really liked to see the markings! helped me understand exactly what you were talking about. Anne is one of the very few natural beauties and is aging wonderfully.
I'm sure I'm not the only one laughing out loud with those perfectly timed zooms! Hahaha you have an amazing sense of subtle humor; that's part of what makes me enjoy your videos so much!
I've always thought Anne is so gorgeous and unique looking. I love her big face. It's so much more interesting than just fitting into a mold and also absolutely beautiful! Sofia Lauren and Audrey Hepburn have big noses and faces that work because of their shapes and how they fit together. Same with Anne.
I’ve always thought she was beautiful, but since she’s my age I guess I’ve never really thought about HOW she’s aging. She doesn’t just look great for being 41, she looks great period. And I love that. I think it’s excellent for women in their 30s and 40s to be able to look at an A-list celebrity and NOT see an appearance that’s only attainable with 6 figures to spend.
I love her since I'm a child and till this day she's my definition of beauty also because of her confidence, it's so natural and you can feel like she just believes in herself. Love it, the way she carries herself, walk, talk.
I love, love her face. Every feature is naturally perfect including the milky skin and giant eyes. She’s beautiful, pretty, cute and extremely elegant looking. Her nose is perfect. Also, her figure looks fantastic in clothes. Love seeing her dressed up in A Devil Wears Prada. ❤ She’s is what I imagine angels would look like.
I don’t know if this is the first recent video I’ve watched and I’ve only been watching older content, but man your eye brows and facial hair are growing in great!
Seeing the changes in Anne described with such care and kindness (because it is so natural) make me feel even better about my own facial aging (esp since I'm only two years older than her)! Great video!
Hi Dr. Gary! I know this isn’t the right video for this question but can you please please please do some more videos on female hair transplants? I’m so grateful to have found you and I wanted to see more celebs that maybe have had this because I feel like there’s a lot of silent woman that are dealing with this
I think she looks fabulous. Even without Dr Linkov's analysis, you can tell if someone's gone too far with surgery. It steps into that "uncanny valley" zone. I'd also add that you can't discount good genes in lack of premature aging. I'm very lucky - my family stays young looking for a long time. I'm 60 now, and really only have a wrinkle between my eyes and laugh lines. As I'm not a celeb, I'll keep 'em!
I hope the little details Dr. Linkov points out aren't taken as deficits of Anne's appearance. I think Anne is one of the most beautiful people in the world and those little distinctions are what make her "her." I especially love that tiny gap between her lips, which reminds me of a porcelain doll, and the slightly rounded tip of her nose, making her look a bit youthful. I also like that her undereyes crease when she smiles because that muscle is only triggered with a genuine smile. I have it too ☺️
I'm proud of Ann Hathaway for not giving into the Hollywood pressure to look 25 forever. She's a real actress, not just a celebrity ❤️

Glad to see you are recovering from your alopecia❣️ I can tell with the eyebrows and the facial hair. Here's to all of it going away and a beautiful head of hair returning🙌
I guarantee a lot of women looove the bald head.
@@helixmoore7636 I agree! I think you looks good either way. My comment was in support of his desire to have his hair return😍
@@kevinsamson1693 of course. Get your hair transplant, Kevin.
@@b.p.5129 -Lol how do you know if they're first name is Kevin?- NVM, I did some research.
Omg, an actress that actually decided to forego surgeries. It speaks very well to her ability to remind firm in her decisions.
Remain*
The woman is also barely 40!
What do you expect a 42yo to look like??
Wait until 45-50.
And after that it goes very fast, each year makes a visible difference.
She's still relatively young. I'm confident she won't forego surgeries forever. Also, just as it's silly to shame people for aging naturally, it's just as silly to shame them for getting plastic surgery if they want to.
I am betting she is careful about sun exposure too. Your skin will remember every "great tan" you get at the beach and it is hard for it to recover.
She also has a neutral "resting face."
If everyone aged like her, plastic surgeons would be bankrupt
All this video has proved to me, is that Anne is a natural beauty and she looks amazing. It's strange to me, when people in their 40s try to look like they are in their 20s. This just is a proof of a perfectly looking mature woman!!!
Yes!! And in fact, we can gain different features. Like Anne's eyes are beautiful and it's more prominently doe shaped which is really cute and attractive.
When I age I look forward to gaining interesting/and different look and maybe I'll also get to enjoy new facial features at that time too. Anne's really a class act!
I especially enjoyed this new method of teaching with your analysis board Dr Gary much thanks for the great work.
You're very welcome!
You're beautiful ❤️
@@Shamala-Hairless thank you! As are you 🥰 I hope everyone can find beauty within themselves ☺️
You are beautiful. Nose job is not all that painful though.
You have the perfect nose for your face. So cute!!
Must we?
I think it is fine to think of it as a neutral fact of life. Not positive, not negative, just a minor thing that has changed.
She's gorgeous. It's a breath of fresh air to see this analysis as she hasn't had any actual surgery and looks more natural than most celebrities.
Anyone else dying to have Dr. Gary analyze their face?
Too painful! I'm no Anne Hathaway
@@p.b.4464 Hey, are any of us? 😉
Not until I’m ready to drop $$$$ to enhance it! Lol
@@etherealdeal1792 😂 I hear that. But I’m ready to drop $$$ on some kind of chin augmentation… just not sure which is best for ME.
Maybe i have low cheekbones.
it's always so wonderful to see someone be so passionate about their job. I love the analysis board! also anne is such a beautiful woman.
If females can get all these surgeries then guys can get hairline transplants
@@kevinsamson1693 Sure, go ahead and do it! Dr. Gary has some videos on hair transplants, too.
There is nothing more powerful than authentic beauty.
she's confirming my decision to not start Botox until later in my 30s! and confirming that, when I tell people my secret is sunscreen and retinol, I'm not lying! she's always been so gorgeous, and I'm so happy she's allowed herself to age so beautifully 🥰
30 is young .
Mid 40 maybe
I will never do that. Ur crazy
@@clwilson24how do you have all the expression if some of your muscles don't move?
Your demeanor is so chill and the videos are so informative! Never knew plastic surgery and procedures could be SO interesting!
Thank you! 🙏
She still looks so young and beautiful! She's aging beautifully and gracefully 👸 Such a queen.
Thank you for the analysis - she's a beautiful woman and I respect that she's really only had non invasive procedures and looks so great!
can you do a video on Cate Blanchette? She hasn't aged in like 15 years, but her face still looks natural (like no obvious fillers)
She looks completely transformed and not good
Love that analysis board!
Ann Hathway is aging naturally & is still beautiful with possible minor procedures.
Thank you, Thalia! 🙏
Anne has always been such a classic beauty. She can act and sing and seems really cool to boot. Thanks for doing a video on her.
i love that you're actually drawing on the pictures to show things, its very helpful to see!!
Dr. Linkov's eyebrows are back in town 🎉
Method acting is ridiculed by serious actors. Her being a fan of method acting doesn't speak well on her as an actor.
I have the same nose which I really disliked when I was young. With age comes self acceptance and now when I look at my nose, I see my dad's nose. And that makes me happy
I wish I had that type of natural nose :/
It’s a gorgeous nose!!!
She is just naturally beautiful without any surgeries. Her nose is perfect!! IMO.
She is beautiful. 24 or 41. Sad that too many others in HW think they need so much surgery to stay relevant. 😪
ann is beautiful! so happy every time we come across a "no surgery" celebrity!
She ages very beautifully, great actress as well.
She looks BEAUTIFUL 😍! She stayed away from overdoing her face. If you hadn't pointed out some minor changes, I wouldn't have noticed 😊.
Thanks for giving us a celebrity with minimal work and a beautiful face. She'll be a beauty at 80.
She has a natural breathtaking beauty; her skin, her lips, her eyes, her teeths, her hair,
everything is just perfect, lucky girl ! :)
Beauty is something we’re given custody of. She was given remarkable features and she has treated them with the care they deserve. It would be terrible to take any serious risks with such a face.
Ann Hathaway has always looked INCREDIBLE!!!!!
Ann is a jem. An advocate for open discussions about skin conditions, talented, kind
Dude your facial hair and eyebrows are coming in nicely. Happy to see it, I was rooting for you!
Thanks!
One of the nicest and most talented actresses in Hollywood. Unfortunately for all of us, time flies and shows no mercy to anyone.😣 It's only fair to have something done in order to hide some of the signs of time's cruelty, especially in women's cases. Besides, she did it gracefully and looks great.❤
Agreed
Dr Gary Linkov, I’m always really impressed with your videos. I’ve learnt a lot from informative videos like these, where you explain the surgeries the celebrities might have had in a respectful, informative and educational way.
Thank you! 🙏
He's great! I love the medical terms and learning the anatomy. Helps us learn about ourselves👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
she's an example of using procedures for the absolute minimum, not to roll back the clock but just to look good at any given age. that's really the healthiest attitude that can be brought to cosmetic procedures imho. also I think her in her 40s is in some ways even more beautiful than before. she has kind of that effortless Parisian look to her because she hasn't been overdone. age in itself can have beautifying effects if we give it a chance...because we so seldom see a woman in her 40s that hasn't been overly plastic surgeried... that age is now slowly becoming the new beauty standard....it's refreshing for the eye to see.
The sound of the analysis board made my vintage cartoon loving heart very happy!
It’s over by the age of 16-17
When the body changed from a pre adolescent into a young woman . With ( Gasp!) curves !
Everybody that is in Hollywood has had some type of plastic surgery . It’s The Norm .
1) love the analysis board lol, 2) awesome to see someone who hasn't had the work that 'ruins' a face! it'd be fun to see more of these folks!
Love the new board format! Keep doing it please!
Thank you. We’ll keep doing it!
FINALLY! Thank you, I’ve been bothering you, Lorry and Dr Motykie for an Anne Hathaway assessment for forever!
Anne is such a natural beauty. Thank you for your analysis!
I really liked to see the markings! helped me understand exactly what you were talking about. Anne is one of the very few natural beauties and is aging wonderfully.
Everyone here talk about agae like she is 65+ while she is 42 which consider as a young age now a days
Love it when Dr. Gary says: "Let's go to the analysis board!" 😃
she is such a natural beauty
I'm sure I'm not the only one laughing out loud with those perfectly timed zooms! Hahaha you have an amazing sense of subtle humor; that's part of what makes me enjoy your videos so much!
She looks amazing. After all of the information I've reviewed, it seems like taking care of your skin is really where it's at.
This is nice to see! It's, also nice to see here that many people support Anne's not-changing face and personality. I think sanity still lives here ❤️
Thank you Dr. Linkov for the Analysis Board, I like learning through medical terminologies and illustrations, very helpful 😊
Glad you found it helpful! Thank you for your support 🙏
@@drgarylinkov Yes to the analysis board and marker!
Thank you for this and talking about how Anne is aging gratefully. I'm 33 and my face is thinning a bit and losing some plumpness.
She's absolutely gorgeous. My god.
Seconding the kudos on the analysis board.
I never realized she was in her 40ties! Or that she was 30 ten years ago. She looks simply incredible! Go Ann!
Great video analysis & I love the Batman sound effects for the analysis board, obviously you’ve got a great sense of humor 😂
She’s a great natural beauty. I don’t see anything bulbous about her nose. It’s perfect.
Me neither, tf he talking about
Anne is real and genuine. Authenticity is hard to find. She is a real beauty.
I can imagine how beautiful she'll be with gray hair. She's classically beautiful and seems authentically comfortable in her own skin.
I don’t know if this is the first recent video I’ve watched and I’ve only been watching older content, but man your eye brows and facial hair are growing in great!
That transition at 0:12 😂😂😂😂 I love it
Seeing the changes in Anne described with such care and kindness (because it is so natural) make me feel even better about my own facial aging (esp since I'm only two years older than her)! Great video!
Hi Dr. Gary! I know this isn’t the right video for this question but can you please please please do some more videos on female hair transplants? I’m so grateful to have found you and I wanted to see more celebs that maybe have had this because I feel like there’s a lot of silent woman that are dealing with this
Your new style of video is very fun to watch and equally entertaining as before
I love your videos.. you’re always so kind about everyone..
Thanks!
bro did the full on presentation like a professional I like this video please make more videos like this
I think she looks fabulous.
Gorg!! She’s a breath of fresh air out here. Have you guys done Julia Roberts? I feel like she has always looked pretty natural.
She looks younger than many celebrities who have multiple surgeries. Absolutely beautiful
I freaking love the analysis board! Your spontaneous fun things like that are fantastic additions to your video, mr Linkov
I have it too ☺️
Вот только что посмотрела видео об Энн и ваше видео вышло следом!
Thanks 😊 Keep up your great job, Gary!
