This seems like something only late 90s Nerf would have made. Brilliant use of space, and I freaking LOVE that option to manually rotate and dump out a bunch of weakly shot darts. It's like some kind of merger between the magnum super drum and barricade.

If the best part of it is the drum, then why not make it into a more "tommy-gun" style blaster? Maybe even make the drum detachable from the rest of the blaster!
a Tommy gun/rifle version would be cool aesthetically but, it would actually take practicality away by bulking it up and not add much. if it was like integrated into a primary as an underbarrel thing, that might be cool though. removable drums I can't imagine working do to the hammer thing in the back
Hey, the dart comes with the Tempest wasn't bad it a sucking cup just glued to a nerf dart, shoot it at a glass or anything that can stick with the sucktion cup
You know, I could see someone designing a Speedloader for this thing. Just a ring with dart posts to hold the darts as you slide it into the Cylinder from the back. Maybe even make it where you can wear them on your arm and just slide them into the Blaster as you empty it.

Use rubber tank bumpers for a vape tank on-the-fly Wheels I do the same thing with barricades Tommy 20s Etc and it works beautifully and you can get those tank bumpers for free
Bruh, I could use this as the base for a borg-arm. If I get the wiring correctly, I could literally connect the trigger to a mechanical grasper, and extend it out quite a bit.
It reminds me of the rotary wrist shotguns mouse used in the matrix. All it needs is a long barrel and a scope with a really nice paintjob and there ya go.

I want so see someone turn that spring mechanism into a belt fed Gatling gun. You'd have to change the motor and flywheel assembly, bit i think it could be done.

Probably should have mentioned, highest FPS I got out of this thing was 54. Not great, but that's about expected from the massive flywheel gap.

Performance can be lower than a jolt, the fact that this thing exists at all is wondrous.
Flywheels are easy to upgrade.
30 for a flywheel blaster, and the potential, spot on pricing.
If they made an actual Nerf Ember Celica, it would just be double action, like the Nailbiter.

What's the issue with the half length darts? How does it even fire half lengths?
THe issue with half darts is the wheels don't spin fast enough and there isn't enough foam to grab to overcome that. They just kinda go a little ways.
At stock it seems sort of not great, excited to see what people do with it though.

Yeah but you'd want to go with the light kit. Half darts are used for a reason. But it'll work with anything, it doesn't change the mag well.
