The TGVs seemed to have great sound to. I LOVE the Wwoob woob woob sound but the TGVs.... they're like whipping the air hard! I can't choose between them! But never liked the color choice of TGVs. Seems so dull.
France was pioneer in developing high speed Trains in late 70's just for one reason : going fastly to Hollidays...when the japenese developed their train just for going to work!!... In France Hollidays are the most important thing.

@@AussieGunzel there is actually 11 373 left in service (3 unrefurbished and 8 refurbished) the unrefurbished ones will be withdrawn by 2020 but the refurbished ones will be kept for longer

@abhishek chakraborty I agree the Siemens velaro doesn't the UK or France it suits Germany, Netherlands, Belgium and Spain (kind of) but not UK or France the AGV would suit Britian a lot more than the velaro or at least Siemens could of designed a special velaro for British luggage

Pourquoi les TGV réseau et duplex n'on qu'un seul pantographe levé dans certains endroits ? Il peuvent très bien levé les deux même quand ils roulent vite!
+L SOL non, les deux pantographes sont levés lorsque l'alimentation électrique se fait en 1500V continu ( dans la gare de Paris gare de Lyon par exemple) or sur LGV c'est du 25000V alternatif donc qu'un pantographe de levé :)
Also, Eurostar trains never passes Statford at full speed, so it's bit of a let down as well. Anyway, wish you the best of luck in finding an E320 speeding along the French countryside!

Fajnie się patrzy na pociągi zapierdalające 300/h. Ale potem człowieka qrvica bierze, jak sie pomysoi o swoich realiach. Pamietamjakieś 20 lat temu z Jeleniej Góry do Wrocławia pociąg jechał 105 km w 3,5 godziny. Teraz jest jakoś szybciej, ale dokładnie nie wiem, bo sie wkurwiłem i kupiłem dobre autko i jestem tam w godzinę. Dobre 15 lat nie jechałem pociągiem.

Anthony Dabor Planes aren’t faster. You can’t compare gate2gate time. You have to compare downtown2downtown time, where train wins by a mile.
Some times it's even faster than the plane and it's ecological as it is totally electified.
