Agreed that the Robin Hood do a great Sunday roast in the city centre. However there are also wonderful places that serves it a few Kms away. Khao Noi sports bar, Tropical restaurant, Suggestions, Baan Na Garden, Hemmingways Jomtien, The Loft at Mabprachan Lake and Bang Saray beach club, to name a few. No shortages of places to have a good Sunday roast 👍 😆 😋

Fantastic Buzzin, met a few interesting people at Robin Hood nearly a year ago looking forward to catching up on my return. Can definitely recommend, food is excellent, Avenue possibly hidden Gem, relaxing coffee, DIY store that stocks all sorts of everything, as said only a 10-15-minute walk from both walking street & Tree town. Eat there everyday when I'm in Pattaya it's fantastic max has taken over and it's got amazing food having a very sensitive stomach hospitalised twice in 2yrs I've never had any problems here it's my go to place for all my meals love the fish and chips mushy peas. Another great video 👍

Fab film Trevor. I lived in the Grand Avenue, Soi 15 for 8 months in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. During the initial lockdown, like most places, the Avenue shopping mall was closed for many weeks. The place was deserted, it was a very sad sight. It's great to see everything, 'buzzin' and open again. One day on my walk around the Avenue shopping mall, upstairs, I came face to face with a huge Monitor lizard. It was just wandering about! Frightened me to death! 😀 When the Robin Hood restaurant was open I was in there many times, fab food. By the way, those dji mics. you're using are fab. There was talk of a consortium of Indian people turning The Avenue into an entertainment centre, similar to Nana Plaza on Soi 4 Bangkok. Has that idea, 'died a death?' Best wishes from me here.

Robin Hood is definitely the place to go in Pattaya if you're looking for good food with Western style service. Max is a nice and sociable guy. He welcomes every single person walking into his restaurant and makes a point to check up on your meals at the table when his time permits.
It’s A place not THE place to go. There are many others that serve similar or better quality dishes and definitely many that offer better value. imo Robin Hood is trying to premium price what is really just an okay location, bog standard drinks and good but not outstanding food.

If you go past DIY to end on right there is a hidden gem. A gal that IMHO is one of the best places for a ligit massage. Felt better than a chiropractor. Could tell where I was sore by how I was standing. She used to work at a resort in Phuket. Robin Hood is a great place to eat, nice staff.

hmm sir Trevor most of these figurines 8:10 , are from comics/ manga and anime, some got adapted to games but not all, it sort of a collector items to be put on shelves. i did travel to Japan Akihabara to get a few of my favorites before covid. in regard of the Robin hood restaurant, max is always welcoming and humble even if the restaurant is busy he will make sure to make a time to introduce himself and welcome you in his restaurant and even give you a suggestion for what to try, loved the food especially the 3some beef and that mouth watering onion soup.
I have eaten a few good roasts in Pattaya (The Sportsman, Queen Victoria Inn,etc), but The Robin Hood looks the largest and most delicious that I have ever seen. I must put this restaurant on my to-eat list when I come to Pattaya next year!
My main meal is breakfast, but not a fan of the socalled english breakfast, usually have a bit of street food in the evening. I used to enjoy a buffet breakfast at the Let hotel every couple of days, but was disappointed that is not available any more. On my quiet nights, would have apple pie and icecream at Mallee house. 100B, loved their apple pie. followed by a couple of singa's. Enjoy Singa light , just a query, its 4.5% I am sure it used to be 3.5% am I right
Your food selection sounds an interesting challenge I may well go and check out the apple pie myself. I'm not sure on the percentage regarding the alcohol I don't drink that particular brand but will have a look
Yes it used to be 3.5 I've just got back from Thailand and my mate only drinks light beer so I told him to drink Singha light and he was pissed in no time I checked the label and it was 4.5 He stopped drinking it and we found San Miguel zero 3.5 and he said it tasted ok. Thank God we found it I was getting tired of carrying him home every night 5555.
Mate I had a roast in July in hemingways the Pattaya one and got emotional as it tasted just like my late mums food …even called my daughter to let her know 😂
Villamarket is a very useful store which as you say can be overlooked. Yes there are now many farang food and snack type shops but they all seem to have very similar stock. You can manage to find many of the less common farang items between Villamarket or Friendship near Tukcom and Bigc Xtra on Pattaya klang. Also not to forget Foodland

This is my living area back in the days... soi 31,13/1 and Avenue Center... mostly at Eddie's YATES BAR (not there anymore) opposite to Billy's JOLLY ROGER (still there) on soi Yamato 13/1 but also spent a lot of time in both WONDERFUL bars... the only problem I ever had was a lifetime membership at the gym in Avenue Shopping Mall with it's previous operator. Lifetime membership means nothing in Pattaya... one name change and your membership goes down the drain.

I’ve never heard of places here in the US serving a Sunday roast or a roast I. General. My mom makes a great roast but it’s not common to see in restaurants. Is this a big UK thing that you guys absolutely love and can’t go without ?
From my own personal experience a Sunday roast was a treat because back in the day we didn't really eat meals that consist of so much variety it was much more bland and boring so on a Sunday we had a feast and I think that's how the Sunday roast evolved
Their roast is fabulous had it before add a nice beer great way to spend a Sunday, Thank god you dont have smell-a-vision or else ill eat the phone that im watching this video on.
We stayed in the Pride about 3 years ago, lovely big condos, great location and it has a nice pool too 👍 would also recommend Villa for ‘home comfort’ food shopping, the wee cafe does tasty and cheap Thai meals too! I would warn people against using the hair salon near villa!! But agree that Robin Hood has one of the best carverys in Pattaya 🤩

Another great video! I love the Avenue. I stayed at Pattaya Bay Resort that was behind it my first 3 trips to Thailand. Not sure why more people don't go there. I go to the Jenny CK salon my first day on every trip for mani/pedi. Go to the Starbucks almost every day. I love RobinHood too. Just all around nice plaza.

Had the 299baht plated Sunday roast, the quality was very good!! Definitely worth the extra 100 baht compared to another place I had the roast, which I was very satisfied with at the time.
8:32 That is Luffy from One Piece it has currently 1033 episodes that are 20 minutes each. It started in October of 1999. I used to watch that anime. Yes, I do watch anime because it has more creativity and better stories than the current stuff coming out of Hollyweird. they have whole shops in Japan set up to sell just those figures :D
I was there a few weeks back. but not for Sunday Lunch. The meal i had was good and the owner is friendly too. The place is spacious and clean. Next time i will try the roast.

Boots has a funny choice of operating countries, as well as the UK and Thailand they are in Republic of Ireland, Norway, Netherland Italy and Indonesia.

The Fat Bastard Wine is a good one, although obviously inflated price in TH cos of tax ( usually around £9.99 in UK ). Best looking for Aussie wines in TH because of the trade deal between the two countries.
Hello Trevor. If you prefer tasty wines, I would recommend a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz from Argentina, Italia, Australia or South Africa. I personally avoid French wines because I find them to be too feeble for my taste.🍷Thanks for the video!

Had the 299baht plated Sunday roast, the quality was very good!! Definitely worth the extra 100 baht compared to another place I had the roast, which I was very satisfied with at the time.
Also definitely got to be garden peas with a roast. Mushy peas with fish and chips but each to their own

Thé Dogs Bollocks Sunday lunch for me is the sportsman’s bar Soi 13 almost opposite the Robin Hood down the Soi towards the beach road.

I was there a few weeks back. but not for Sunday Lunch. The meal i had was good and the owner is friendly too. The place is spacious and clean. Next time i will try the roast.

Robin hood 599 =£14,26 at current exchange rates.Im sure your friend BJ would provide a great meal for a fraction of that. Pre covid the Marquee on soi Boukou did a Sunday roast for 100 bht,fish n chips on Fridays same!

Also note that Robinhood has Guinness on draft. Somehow they get a good supply and do not run out. Perfect pour in a cold glass. Yum. Price a little more expensive then other bars that carry Guinness I guess you pay a bit more for a reliable supply.

The Fat Bastard Wine is a good one, although obviously inflated price in TH cos of tax ( usually around £9.99 in UK ). Best looking for Aussie wines in TH because of the trade deal between the two countries.

Hello Trevor. If you prefer tasty wines, I would recommend a Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon or Cabernet Sauvignon - Shiraz from Argentina, Italia, Australia or South Africa. I personally avoid French wines because I find them to be too feeble for my taste.🍷Thanks for the video!
