Almost impossible to believe your coverage just keeps getting better all the time. Watching any other coverage just doesn't cut it any more. Thanks Jomez!
I kind of wish the dgpt would just throw in the towel and give jomez the reigns to produce all coverage. They can still carry it on other channels but let the obvious pros do it right.
You guys are doing something that most “niche” hobbies don’t have the pleasure of having. This coverage is legitimately better than what PGA gets at this point. It’s awesome to see it continue to evolve as an outside (I don’t even own a disc, just watch it religiously) because you guys make it so entertaining. Jomez will be used as an example for decades to come of what to do to cover other weird, wild sports that people enjoy.
@@grantchapman8079 I’ve played a couple times. It really is tons of fun. Work just gets in the way of leisure time too much to golf. Am hoping to get set up this next month though!
It's been said 10,000 times, but you ALL did a great job tightening up this coverage for the new fans. Any world's coverage will be viewed for years to come, just like last year's coverage of the big finish. We can see the extra flavor professionalism you all sprinkled in and it's appreciated.
I used to think Eagle had a cheat code, just ripping super stable discs on forehand and backhand hyzers. Watching him work angles and understable discs since his injury really demonstrates his skills in a new way.
I am a big sports fan who came across disc golf 2 years ago. Has become my favourite. Beside the sport itself a major reason is the trio of commentates. No other sport do we have pros that played in the event and are among the best in the world, take the time to provide such top notch commentary.
I love that "treedirection" has become a normal part of our vocabulary as disc golfers. All because of you guys at Jomez! So don't stop improving guys, for all of us that only wish we could see them live!
Love the professional music, love the professional commentary, love the overhead shots, great teamwork with gatekeeper. Stepped it up big time for world's. Well done.
Flash backs, chase card coverage - pulling out all the stops! Love seeing how far things have come from the flashbacks and the collaboration between post production companies is just stellar - love to see it!
I actually got to play with Tyler Wozniak (ace on 16 guy) in Paul Ulibarri's boyd hill doubles tournament. Such a cool/nice guy, fun to play with especially when he is on your team! So awesome to keep up with him through these big tournaments and happy to hear him ace 16 at worlds. CONGRATS Tyler if you're reading this!
gotta say I'm really digging the creative openings. Just awesome. +1 to all the comments about the new drone footage in flight and overhead views, the distance off the tee, some really spectacular stuff. Jomez leading the pack on new innovations to watching DG. I love seeing what discs the players are throwing - would be awesome to see that be every shot eventually. Thank you, Jomez! The commentary is always fun and enjoyable.
I love the roller play on hole 14 by AB. Yes it goes out of bounds but it gets so far up there that its very likely he still gets the birdie cause if it being a Par 5, and he still gives him a chance of the roller being in bounds and potentially getting an eagle. It could be a win win situation.
I’m not sure you guys have received enough compliments about the quality of coverage and the addition of the drone footage. Kudos. Keep it up! We’re all hooked!
This is far and away the BEST post produce coverage there is out there. No disrespect to the others but I love everything about it. Keep up the great work y’all!
I feel like you cant have a world championship without a wooded course. Id like to see at least 3 different courses through 6 days and at least one of them a tough wooded course. To be the champion you should have to be the most well rounded golfer when it comes to shaping shots, putts and even distance and these 2 courses just arent it.
I fully agree, even if it was just 2 courses, one wooded and one more open. It would be more representative of what skill sets a world champion should have.
The drone flight music makes me want to play Minecraft again. Love the coverage and the new mix of music you guys, and other channels bring for the event.
Tristan Tanner’s performance so far this tournament is wild. He’s ranked #71 in the US. This is his first year competing in Elite Series tournaments where his average finish is 59th place. His best Elite Series finish was 6th place at the Vegas Open, but hasn’t finished better than 25th since. He has cashed in only 5 of 12 ES tournies so far. He has 2 career wins: a C-tier in 2018 and a B-tier in 2021. And now he has the share of the lead at Worlds after 2 rounds. I’m definitely rooting for him now!
@@mech0p let me put that statement to rest - he is a shy young man with an incredibly pleasant demeanor. It is simply not fair to judge these athletes by the way you perceive them while in competition. AB is a SOLID dude.
@@mech0p This is just wrong and has zero context. Watched him play in person a few times. He's shy -- very focused and hard on himself, but a super nice kid and everyone seems to like him.
@@JustinFernDesign I could be wrong as I dont know him personally and im just basing it on how he looks and is holding himself and it very well could be because hes just shy and trying to seem confident which is maybe where that awkwardness im getting comes from. Im basically basing it off of people ive seen in the past that i personally know who hold themselves a smiliar way and dont have much good to say about them. As jerm said, it is a competition setting and he just may be in that zone. Still doesnt change that his deamenor is a bit off putting to the camera though. With that said i do enjoy watching him as hes got some hellacious drives.
I love every competitor in this sport so I don't care who wins honestly but it would be super cool if Rick was able to win it again in the place of his first one.
I hope a lot of the extra features stick around for future coverages. The drone shot showing the drives is cool, I always wonder how far the pros are throwing them.
I was hoping this too, but its gotta be so much work for the team to put this all together. Maybe in a few years when disc golf is up there with ball golf we can get this stuff every week, but for now I think itll just be a worlds thing.

These videos would be so much better if they indicated who was throwing. Just highlight their name or something when they're up. Small thing, huge improvement.
Can anyone comment on McMahons cut hand? that may have had an effect on his final 3 rounds? He was 10 down in the first round and then averaged 3 down in the final four rounds.

That PDGA official called Eagle's 13 tee shot so wrong. How does a flat sliding disc bounce backwards that far off a blade of grass?
Eagle on hole #13 saving a stroke w being closer than expected is monumental in the midst of the competition in current disc golf
