Absolutely we did indeed. Once you got raptor on your skin you have to wait for it to drop off. No amount of scrubbing gets rid of it. Can't afford to wait till the rain holds off. It's always raining.

Good question. We don't want light coming through it as it will be disguised on the inside. The ceiling tiles we have won't look right with a fan amongst them. Kinda hard to explain but if you look on our Instagram of the same name you will see our tiles. Wil all make sense in the end.
We are using rollers for the red paint. Only raptor on the top to protect from trees etc. I think though to roll on raptor would be amazingly easier and alot less messy. Haha.
The raptor needs to stand the test of time to represent value. The idea being that the rough bobbly surface should be easy to patch up without looking out of place when a tree branch inevitably scratches the red paint off. If it works out this way it will have been worth the aggravation and cost. If it comes off. Chips and scrached and doesn't stand up to the scrapes it will have been costly both in terms of time and money. We will keep you posted after it's been on a while. It comes out like silly string. It's expensive at 25 quid a can and it ruins anything it comes in to contact with. However it might be worthwhile.
