- I did it! Perfect Pumpkin Head Guy! This song was a real pain. I basically just memorized the button combinations until it was just muscle memory and I didn't even really look at the screen because that would just psyche me out. This is also the Weird Autumn Edition of the game and they added some really awesome new details to the game like everyone becoming skeletons during the bass solo, that was pretty rad. Skeletons are rad. Also Merry Christmas I guess? Would be more appropriate for Halloween but you know.
"Die Anywhere Else" and "Weird Autumn" lull you into a sense of security by being so easy and then suddenly BLOODY HELL WHAT'S THIS INSANITY?!? The difficulty curve is...somewhat questionable.

So should I play this game on pc? I was gonna buy it on ns.
I bought it on PC and Switch and both versions are pretty much identical aside from a couple minor bugs on The Switch version in particular when playing the minigame DemonTower, but so far I haven't heard anyone else mention it so maybe only I had that problem. I would say that it's totally up to you though. If you prefer playing your games in handheld mode on the Switch then go for it, but otherwise it doesn't really matter either way. The game is fantastic no matter which version you get.

@@Link-ji7kx I commented this 5 years ago so I'm not sure, but I think it's the sorta awkward way the "PUMPKIN HEAD GUY!!" text comes in and how the rest of the effects just come with no transition and a few of them at odd times (like Mae just turning into a skeleton in the middle of a long note while the rest did so at the beginnings of bars in the song). Now, though, I think it fits the song even though it could've maybe been done a little better.

This song wrecks your darn nerves so I find it hard to blame anyone for rushing it
The rushing is deliberate. If you listen to Pumpkin Head Guy on the soundtrack this is closer to how it sounds than just following the notes.
