I think my favorite part about the Weird Autumn update is the fact that they spruced up the visuals during the music sequences, like in Pumpkin Head Guy, where all four of them become spooky skeletons.
When I saw that I thought they all got electrocuted from my bad notes
The visuals are cool, but they are a bit distracting from trying to follow the notes.

Hence reason for my inspiration for the type of non-copyrighted story I hope to make for Halloween or even for Bonfire Night. When I saw that, I didn't know about getting Night in the Woods. But I clearly hope to inspire Infinite Fall to make more updates to the game to include more songs and stuff like that.

Only one I was particularly concerned about was Die Anywhere Else, where it was raining shapes in the shape of her friends.
This game made me think about all the decisions i made in my life.
when I was 7 years old I was offered to learn to play the guitar. I refused, because it seemed to me "boring."
And you know what? Screw the past!
I'm learning to play it right now, and starting to save up some money to make myself a best birthday gift ever: an electric bass guitar.

watching someone whos actually able to play pumpkin head guy perfectly makes me equally angry but pleased at the same time. if you couldnt tell i cant play that song even if i was held at gun point.
Try changing how you hold the controller so you have the left thumb and right thumb over the four buttons. It's really hard to play with just one finger on the buttons.
Hawlo i already do the both hands on all four. its just that my eyes dont move that fast and my reaction time is extremely slow. new songs also make me angry bc i dont know it right off the bat lol but thanks for trying to give me advice :D and for replying skfhkshd i never get creator replies

As a person who lives in a small town, the thought of growing up and watching time progress kinda kills me, and die anywhere else just hit the core of that feeling
For me wierd autumn hits that special feeling, not only cuz I listened to it alot when the game first came out but also it gives off this garage band with your friends feel. Ive always wanted that but never had it. Hell, this game made me get a bass.

Unpopular opinion: pumpkin head guy is easier than tick tock. Idk, I was just able to 100% it after less tries than tick tock. If you can’t tell I don’t like tick tock :(

It's 8 inputs per note, it helps if you count them like 1-2-3-4, 1-2-3-4 as you play. With B it's 16 notes.

The composer is very talented
I really enjoyed how this game doesn't tell you from the jump what the main obstacles are for Mae, but there's plenty of circumstantial context clues. It's nice that you can guesstimate before the climax what the main purpose of it all is. A coming of age story, but not in a disney pixar fashion or a fatally edgy teen novel way, more in a real down to earth sense. You naturally wonder and ask questions throughout the game.

"Tick Tock" has some serious DHMIS vibes. Maybe that's just Episode 2 talking but... The happy song and the ominous lyrics? Yes.
Also, I'd love to mod this game with some other music, because there are some very NITW-sy songs I've heard, like "The Kids Aren't Alright" or "Handlebars" that would fit perfectly in this game. Thing is, I can't mod, so I can only dream that someone who can has the same idea.

here i am in 2020 revisited all these old songs that i once heard when i was a kid still and during these times with the rona... its soothing in a way yknow
My trick to playing these on keyboard are putting my left hand's index and middle finger on 1 and 2 and the same for my right hand but for 3 and 4. Once you get used to it, makes songs like Pumpkin Head Guy pretty easy.
Die anywhere else is by far one my favorite video game soundtracks this year it's that awesome.
I love that game so much that I basically killed my throat while singing along.

I always assumed they sound the exact same, but you could be right, it does sound like the bass is a little stronger in the solo bass practices.

Also as a bass player there's a difference in the guitar she plays. One is much older and therefore has a slightly stronger "twang" or higher feedback loop on the amplifier, meaning that the reverb is stronger and lasts longer
