Hi very interesting video just for info the gearbox is a 2000E not a type 9 which is a much later 5 speed gearbox made for the Sierra. If yours is a 5 speed it is incredibly rare as you said made by Hewland and marketed through Wooler it was a very close ratio box dog engagement and direct top whereas the type 9 five speed was overdrive 5th hope this helps.

I have a JCW myself - a 2008 tuned to about 220 bhp. I would say the Anglia is about the same in terms of performance, maybe the mini has the edge. The Anglia is incredibly light, both cars are rather noisy but the Anglia definitely out shouts the Mini.

The Broadspeed minis were fairly well known even at Lemans if I'm not mistaken. This would as quick as my 2004 JCW Mini---maybe more even.
