Superb video! Thanks so much for uploading this. I love Alan Rickman's humor. I always believed his magnificent voice was genetic..he was born with it... and training from the theater
The info is actually all in the video, however being interviewed is Alan Rickman on the 28th June 2007 for BBC Radio Manchester. He was in Manchester to play the role of the Narrator in a performance of Salman Rushdie's novel 'The Ground Beneath Her Feet'. The interviewer is Phil Wood.
Poor Alan's career suffered a little. Movie wise he could have been in forty or more. But along came Harry Potter. It took ten years of directing and portraying more interesting from Alan. He is more than Snape. So professional and polished. He was also in the Butler as Ronald Reagan. But only asked about Snape.
He's definitely annoyed. Any fan could recognize annoyed tone in his voice. that interviewer ruined the talk in the beginning, as mentioning Die Hard and Robin Hood. Did he actually say "young rickman"? that's daunting....Hahah and he's "mentioning" his terrible unauthorized biography book.
JOHNNY DEPP AND ALAN RICKMAN SINGING?! Wicked! Alan's voice must be amazing when he sings. Even though Johnny has good looks and he's an amazing actor, I don't think he can sing all that well...
I could listen to him all day...
he sounds awesome even when drunk.......wow
i think alan rickman are angry when he asked about his childhood speech problem.hhehehhe but he do sound good

I doubt he's drunk. He could have been having problems with his jaw that day.

There was a problem with the microphone. He had to hold it himself as well.
