cavaleer OK, wow, just had a serious realization when you said Astrology is what therapy wants to be. I didn't even realize the amount of therapy I gave myself through Astrology and studying my chart like a psychopath! LOL. When I first typed in my chart, and couldn't understand it, I google searched the aspects that came up in text like "Sun in 8th House," and I was like oh my God... The House of death, that explains why I spent my childhood obsessing about the after-life, burning in hell, etc. It was like my God, how could this NOT be right? This is literally me. Astrology is seriously creepily accurate, and if ignorant people actually took one day to look up their chart and google some stuff, I swear they would have to be one delusional person to deny the undeniable facts that come up... That's why I get so irritated, especially talking to certain Earth signs, "yeah right, that shit is so fake!!" To me it's the other way around, like how stupid, ignorant and unelightened does a person have to be to NOT believe that we live in a very spiritual world? It is all around us. We're not just here "to be here," Astrology is not a ploy, OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE. Anyway, sorry, rant over. lol.

Astrology is a very difficult concept for people shaped by this Age of Pisces-Virgo, where one is taught to simply "believe", i.e., don't think, OR one is taught that hard tangible facts that can be analyzed under a microscope are the only "valid" form of "truth"(Virgo). The Chinese perhaps said it best- "Heaven initiates, Earth responds." The study of the Heavenly mechanisms, and the way they set your individual table, so to speak, is by definition a trans-Saturnian activity. Thus it will simply not be understood by people who cannot or simply are ignorant of the deeper truths and forces behind so-called "reality". But this is the only way it could be. So continue your studies and go deep, as Sun in the 8th demands.

My 7th house is in Aries and empty so what you’re saying makes sense bc I love being alone and don’t like attaching my life to relationships or other people. I have a friend who is a taurus sun with a scorp ascendant (sun in 7th house) and one day I made the mistake of saying "you're always in a relationship, its like you don't know what to do with yourself and can't function when you aren't" and they FLIPPED out. Wow...this video explains my relationships so much. Since I was a kid, I decided I wouldn't date so I wouldn't lose focus on what I wanted and who I was. I like how you talk about the EGO in the video too. I've read some Sigmund Freud myself. Although, I am a conservative person; my EGO is becoming strong lately.
Omg thats creepy, I(scorpio) have Moon in cancer in 7th house and also was never in a relationship :D. Im 23 years old and I think its because I am very romantic and basically live in a dream world but im also very closed up and scared to be hurt when it comes to men. My sun is in the 7th house in Gemini, along with mercury. Recently, I have been having problems with myself after a friend told me that I seemed like I would be easily taken advantage of. I was taken aback as we did not know each other well. However,I agreed with him as I was afraid to say no whenever someone asked me for favours. I did not even scold my group mate for handing in late work, and instead laughed it off. I was afraid of the awkwardness that would come with telling others no. I would not call myself selfless, rather I do things for others in hopes that they would return the favour when I need help in future. Of course, I have learnt that not everyone may reciprocate and I am now learning to set boundaries for others by learning to refuse someone. I'm 18 and have not had a boyfriend and I totally agree with what you said at the end. Since young, I always wanted one and I felt like I was looking for love, which I hate myself for feeling this way.
Eve C Funny coincidence, I actually have my sun in sagittarius in the 7th and a lot of what you said happens to me on the daily. I posted a comment a few months ago that detailed a lot of what issues my sun in 7th brings me. I'm 27 and I am starting to just believe that this is a debilitating house for us. Im an aries sun and libra rising and turns out this is my house...i actually hate it..everything u said is spot on. I have extreme internal conflict and insecurity when it comes to confidence in relationships. I'm constantly having the thought "Why can't I get the effort and care and concern that i give to others" its so unfair..but on the other side i hide those feelings and put on an iron face..there's like one person who i ever become willingly vulnerable to..otherwise i suffer in silence because i feel that no one really ever gave a damn about my feelings even though i ALWAYS go out of my way to make others feel better or help others even when i am not really in the position to do so, i find a way. Thanks so much for this one. My husband and I both have our Suns in the 7th. We're good to each other and balance each other out. I will always be the supporting role and I accepted that after my saturn return. The more I detach from needing friends the better my friendships are. wow... I have sun and 4 other planets in the 7th house. I didn't quite understand this house until I saw your video. The general thing about this house that most astrologers emphasise is its all about marriage & partnerships and I do not and never have wanted to get married as well as being a independent person and not really needing anyone else to get on with my life, so it kinda did not make sense to me at all. But when you started talking about shadow self and attracting crazies and people being a mirror, wow that blew my mind. Makes complete sense now. It's really not about marriage per se but about the people we attract in our lives and how those relationships play out. Alyssa, another spot on on video. I have Capricorn DSC With Uranus, Mars , South Node, Neptune in it. It is complicated as can you imagine. People come and go out of my life leaving to me the thinking how crazy I am. From all of those planets, the most difficult is Neptune that also squares my Venus. I can't help but idealize people who I let in. They like that and take advantage of me. I tolerate bad habits of them like "it's ok,I can take it..." but not so long.

Very interesting video! My case: My sun is right on the cusp of the 6th and 7th house, in Capricorn. I'm a very independent individual and highly value this independence. I can be solitary and enjoy it, however I have never been alone, as life has made it so that I would always have good trustworthy friends around me, and a partner. I never seek relationships; they find me, and become a crucial part of my life.
So, I have Uranus in my Seventh house....all by it's lonesome. Always searching for that spark to ignite my awakening. Then, I found somebody with a venus and neptune in her 7th...Needless to say. I woke up one day to find my ex-wife gone without a trace. As bad as it sounds, after watching your video, it makes sense to me that she was exactly what I was looking for. A delusional love bird to break me into awakening like the movie "The Fountain." Now, I'm like "finally, I don't have to have a relationship ever again!" which gives me the freedom to finish my plans for a ph.d. in physics. Thank you Alyssa for these videos. I found them in 2014 a few weeks after she left. They have answered so many questions about what I was going through in life, and what I am still going through. And, this one pretty much topped them all as far as the "why did I do that?" question everybody asked me when we got married after three months. The story is strange, almost like her not loving herself was a sacrifice for me being able to move on to my own purpose. Now, that's love (on a side note, I did have a breakdown in the hospital for 2 weeks, so I didn't get away with what I cosmically did. It was a big price to pay, fun stuff)

I constantly feel torn and confused about my identity and what I want in other people or myself. Its like I'm a walking contradiction. So true. I have a stellium at my 7th house. Saturn conj pluto conj my south node. Whenever im in a relationship, its hard, i lose myself in the struggle and i end up transformed facing my karmic issues. saturn return is like what would people who doesn't know about astrology call "coming of age" or quarter life crisis. if you know of the 27 club? wherein most celebrities have some sort of existencial crisis, if you look closely its basically what students of astrology call saturn return. basically its the time when the planet saturn transits the house where you have it in your natal chart. if for example you have saturn in aries, by the time saturn goes to aries is your saturn return. currently saturn is in scorpio (retrograde) and will soon go back to sagittarius. the reason why it is so infamous to astrology lovers is because by the time you hit your saturn return (27 to 32) you experience all this depression, all this crisis that ultimately catapults you to your growth. in my case, its in 7th house so basically my crisis has something to do with relationships, among with other planets that are sitting there that spells the atmosphere or theme that i am currently experiencing. it is a purge to be honest. feeling better now compared to the past years though. and im waiting for my reward!--- because they say if you pass all the tests of saturn you will be rewarded at the end of the transit. much like a father disciplining you and rewarding you if you are well behaved. =) (So saturn if you read this, gimme my reward! lol)

Heather James Hi. I think you mean the North Node also known as Rahu. Just do a search on youtube for Rahu and Ketu. Then when you know what they are (mathematical points on the Moon which speak volumes about your past life and Karma), then you can go on to find out what their placements both mean. There are inumerable resources out there example Astrolada, KRS Channel, Ernst Wilhelm etc. Good luck.
I have Saturn and Mercury (in Pisces) in my 7th house. Saturn in my 7th house makes me take my one on one relationships super seriously. And having my Saturn in Pisces makes me like to be alone. On the flipside having Mercury in my 7th house makes me hate being alone! I don't need a large group of people to be around me. I prefer maybe one or two people that I can talk literally about any and everything with. Communication is so important to me in a relationship. Which gets me in trouble sometimes because I get into relationships with people that have amazing communication skills but they are terrible people (liars, cheaters, etc). I'm getting better at filtering through the people who aren't good for me though (thankfully lol).

I have Uranus in my 7th house, issues surrounding freedom and commitment predominated in my relationships, where I projected a lack of commitment onto my partner, repeatedly until I came to the realisation that I was the one who actually had commitment issues and successfully sabotaged every relationship in order to avoid it. Of course, Venus in the 12th house and Saturn in Libra, don't help either!
So I have an empty 7th house but Aries is my 7th house. Does that mean I basically have a Mars in the 7th house and therefore my relationships tend to have a lot of confrontations?
Alyssa Sharpe here's another question that I really want to ask for like forever, ever since I started watching your videos (btw, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL): If you know a person's rising sign (e.g. Libra for me), does that mean you basically know every single sign that rules his houses, since the each of the sign that follows the rising sign rules the next house? In that case does that mean ppl with the same rising sign has a lot in common, because they essentially have the same signs that rules the same house that the only differences would be where their planets are?
imahnick Not necessarily, because the houses aren't always exactly 30 degrees like the signs are. A friend of mine is a Gemini rising, but her IC is only about 60 degrees away in Leo. Her second and third house cusps are both in Cancer, thus her eighth and ninth house cusps are both in Capricorn. Meanwhile, her sixth house cusp is in Libra, and the house includes all of Scorpio and ends at her Sagittarius descendant. As such, her twelfth house starts in Aries, includes all of Taurus, and ends with her Gemini ascendant.
Not everyone with the same Asc has exact same houses 'cause some people have intercepted signs. Although Ascs in neighboring signs will overall have similar personalities because they might have similar houses. While opposing Ascs have their charts completely upside down so they have opposite approaches in all the areas. For example, some Libra Ascs have similar houses like Scorpio Risings, but they're completely opposite from Aries Risings.

Astrology is a very difficult concept for people shaped by this Age of Pisces-Virgo, where one is taught to simply "believe", i.e., don't think, OR one is taught that hard tangible facts that can be analyzed under a microscope are the only "valid" form of "truth"(Virgo). The Chinese perhaps said it best- "Heaven initiates, Earth responds." The study of the Heavenly mechanisms, and the way they set your individual table, so to speak, is by definition a trans-Saturnian activity. I enjoy watching your videos. Its difficult to find in-depth videos like this; especially on an esoteric subject. Astrology is not exactly respected like psychology and sociology. I think mainly because people read those dumb inaccurate horoscopes about sun signs; that's why many prob don't believe in it. Once I got my chart in 2013 from astro.com, it literally blew my mind away. Astrology is more than just sun signs. But i'm not one to think it can predict future; I just think its accurate for a psyche profile etc... Extroverted vs introverted or stubborn vs complaint etc....

Recently, I have been having problems with myself after a friend told me that I seemed like I would be easily taken advantage of. I was taken aback as we did not know each other well. However,I agreed with him as I was afraid to say no whenever someone asked me for favours. I did not even scold my group mate for handing in late work, and instead laughed it off. I was afraid of the awkwardness that would come with telling others no. I would not call myself selfless, rather I do things for others in hopes that they would return the favour when I need help in future. Of course, I have learnt that not everyone may reciprocate and I am now learning to set boundaries for others by learning to refuse someone.
I'm 18 and have not had a boyfriend and I totally agree with what you said at the end. Since young, I always wanted one and I felt like I was looking for love, which I hate myself for feeling this way.

Funny coincidence, I actually have my sun in sagittarius in the 7th and a lot of what you said happens to me on the daily. I posted a comment a few months ago that detailed a lot of what issues my sun in 7th brings me. I'm 27 and I am starting to just believe that this is a debilitating house for us. wow... I have sun and 4 other planets in the 7th house. I didn't quite understand this house until I saw your video. The general thing about this house that most astrologers emphasise is its all about marriage & partnerships and I do not and never have wanted to get married as well as being a independent person and not really needing anyone else to get on with my life, so it kinda did not make sense to me at all. But when you started talking about shadow self and attracting crazies and people being a mirror, wow that blew my mind. Makes complete sense now. It's really not about marriage per se but about the people we attract in our lives and how those relationships play out. Im Sun in 7th (Aries) conj mercury, Lilith is there too. Relationships don't work for me, as I cannot set boundaries.. Life is better on my own. Relationships seem to distract me from my own boundless path. So when they end, I beat myself up for wandering off the path in the first place. Its taken 40 years to realize this truth. My boundaries are on my own path, they do not exist where other people are involved.
I can attest having Virgo in 1st & Pisces in 7th has not been easy. My sun in Sag squaring both houses doesn't help, since I have no patience. I do tend to attract desperate types... typically goes something like:

I can be solitary and enjoy it, however I have never been alone, as life has made it so that I would always have good trustworthy friends around me, and a partner. So, I have Uranus in my Seventh house....all by it's lonesome. Always searching for that spark to ignite my awakening. Then, I found somebody with a venus and neptune in her 7th...Needless to say. I woke up one day to find my ex-wife gone without a trace. As bad as it sounds, after watching your video, it makes sense to me that she was exactly what I was looking for. A delusional love bird to break me into awakening like the movie "The Fountain." Now, I'm like "finally, I don't have to have a relationship ever again!" which gives me the freedom to finish my plans for a ph.d. in physics. Thank you Alyssa for these videos. I found them in 2014 a few weeks after she left. They have answered so many questions about what I was going through in life, and what I am still going through. And, this one pretty much topped them all as far as the "why did I do that?" question everybody asked me when we got married after three months. The story is strange, almost like her not loving herself was a sacrifice for me being able to move on to my own purpose. Now, that's love (on a side note, I did have a breakdown in the hospital for 2 weeks, so I didn't get away with what I cosmically did. It was a big price to pay, fun stuff)

I have Leo and the Sun in my 7th house, but my sun sign is also Leo, my moon Gemini, and my rising sign is the opposite, Aquarius. I constantly feel torn and confused about my identity and what I want in other people or myself. Its like I'm a walking contradiction. I see everyone as a Leo and concerned with themselves, yet I am too, and at the same time I hate myself for it. My ego and my shadow that people show me, is essentially, who I am. This video as well as all your others really helped me gain insight into myself and my problems on a much deeper level and I appreciate you for that. I really do become a different person for different people in my life, including my friends family and significant others. Just because I feel like I don't truly know myself and like you said, I end up seeing me and my partner as the same person. Any advise on how to make my ego mine again? So true. I have a stellium at my 7th house. Saturn conj pluto conj my south node. Whenever im in a relationship, its hard, i lose myself in the struggle and i end up transformed facing my karmic issues. I have realized i newd to focus on my north node 1st house, tremendous lessons on setting boundaries and learning to love myself. saturn return is like what would people who doesn't know about astrology call "coming of age" or quarter life crisis. if you know of the 27 club? wherein most celebrities have some sort of existencial crisis, if you look closely its basically what students of astrology call saturn return. basically its the time when the planet saturn transits the house where you have it in your natal chart. if for example you have saturn in aries, by the time saturn goes to aries is your saturn return. currently saturn is in scorpio (retrograde) and will soon go back to sagittarius. the reason why it is so infamous to astrology lovers is because by the time you hit your saturn return (27 to 32) you experience all this depression, all this crisis that ultimately catapults you to your growth. in my case, its in 7th house so basically my crisis has something to do with relationships, among with other planets that are sitting there that spells the atmosphere or theme that i am currently experiencing. it is a purge to be honest. feeling better now compared to the past years though. and im waiting for my reward!--- because they say if you pass all the tests of saturn you will be rewarded at the end of the transit. much like a father disciplining you and rewarding you if you are well behaved. =) (So saturn if you read this, gimme my reward! lol)

Heather James Hi. I think you mean the North Node also known as Rahu. Just do a search on youtube for Rahu and Ketu. Then when you know what they are (mathematical points on the Moon which speak volumes about your past life and Karma), then you can go on to find out what their placements both mean. There are inumerable resources out there example Astrolada, KRS Channel, Ernst Wilhelm etc. Good luck.
I have Saturn and Mercury (in Pisces) in my 7th house. Saturn in my 7th house makes me take my one on one relationships super seriously. And having my Saturn in Pisces makes me like to be alone. On the flipside having Mercury in my 7th house makes me hate being alone! I don't need a large group of people to be around me. I prefer maybe one or two people that I can talk literally about any and everything with. Communication is so important to me in a relationship. Which gets me in trouble sometimes because I get into relationships with people that have amazing communication skills but they are terrible people (liars, cheaters, etc). I'm getting better at filtering through the people who aren't good for me though (thankfully lol).

Alyssa Sharpe here's another question that I really want to ask for like forever, ever since I started watching your videos (btw, LOVE YOUR CHANNEL): If you know a person's rising sign (e.g. Libra for me), does that mean you basically know every single sign that rules his houses, since the each of the sign that follows the rising sign rules the next house? In that case does that mean ppl with the same rising sign has a lot in common, because they essentially have the same signs that rules the same house that the only differences would be where their planets are?
imahnick Not necessarily, because the houses aren't always exactly 30 degrees like the signs are. A friend of mine is a Gemini rising, but her IC is only about 60 degrees away in Leo. Her second and third house cusps are both in Cancer, thus her eighth and ninth house cusps are both in Capricorn. Meanwhile, her sixth house cusp is in Libra, and the house includes all of Scorpio and ends at her Sagittarius descendant. As such, her twelfth house starts in Aries, includes all of Taurus, and ends with her Gemini ascendant.
Not everyone with the same Asc has exact same houses 'cause some people have intercepted signs. Although Ascs in neighboring signs will overall have similar personalities because they might have similar houses. While opposing Ascs have their charts completely upside down so they have opposite approaches in all the areas. For example, some Libra Ascs have similar houses like Scorpio Risings, but they're completely opposite from Aries Risings.
