Quintile is the whole wheel divided by 5...so two planets 72 deg apart... semisextile is half a sextile, so two planets 30 degrees from each other, one sign away....etc.... Their meanings are quite the same as their full aspect, only softer.

the 4th house is your identity. it's what you do on a consistent basis in order to build security (or emotional security, rather). it's the inner self, emotional body, identity - the ego. the moon & cancer also correlate to this because of that process of nurturing: which is consistently taking care of security in order to build identity. the 1st house (or ascendant) is just like the archetype of aries & mars. it symbolizes how a soul is *instinctually* becoming aware of itself from a moment to moment basis. i emphasize "instinctually" because it's the process of discovering the SELF, from a place of the unknown. henceforth, we do NOT know the self because we are instinctually discovering it. i think often times astrology misrepresents the 1st house as the ego because of the fallacy of projecting our own personal awareness of ourselves. at some point in a person's life, they become aware of the process of how they instinctually interface w/ their reality and can easily confuse those instincts as the identity complex. and in some cases, that might be the case if there several planets correlating the 1st and 4th house, or mars moon conjunction, or moon in 7th house, etc. but that said, instincts and identity are very different elements.

I’m so glad you explained the Pisces rising/Aries interception thing because it always confuses me- I’m Pisces Rising and I have Mars in my Aries 1st house - and I don’t think I’m a bully but I do get angry. Even my love can be angry and aggressive- and usually over the top over protective. It can be really frustrating sometimes because I know how I want to come across and how I actually am coming across and it’s difficult for me to bend.

Wow!! I've only just sat and thought about all this in depth. My 1st house cancer, decided to organise a party so she invited saturn in scorpio, and jupiter in capricorn to attend. They ended up desperately needing a mediator to break up the opposition argument before the whole house was destroyed. So, what better sign to bring along and strengthen everything it touches? I keep finding people online and irl calling me conceited, like I act like i'm too big or a hotshot, and too many people tell me I need to stop acting like i'm super special and important. I mean I know i'm different, but i'm not trying to be conceited. and I have absolutely no idea how I convey that message across to them. to me, I am communicating like any other person. then I read your twitter in having Jupiter in the ascendant. I was largely ignored in my family. my mother had nine kids to look after, and my grandmother favored boys over girls. I know I was a huge show off as a kid, because I was an attention whore. I have my Sun & Venus in the first house (& Taurus Rising, Venus in Taurus - yes, lots of Venus energy), and most things you say are spot on. Every single one of my exes (all exes, cuz I'm single again now) fell for me at the 1st sight - I get so used to it that I kinda get a bit disappointed if I like someone a bit and he does not fall hard for me right at 1st sight :"P (I know I should not, just being honest here ^_^). It's not uncommon that a guy saw me for the first time and just got dead frozen for a little while, then started to pursue me right at that moment. My ex-husband even fell for me before he met me - he just overheard his sister's conversation with me over the phone! He sat next to her in a car, heard my voice & what I said on the other end - and fell for me, just like that. I became a single mom and went through hell all by myself and my mom never once asks me: "Are you okay?", or asks me just about anything at all :). Everything I ever do is just wrong to her. Even when I won an international award and appeared on national TV and 20+ news channels; my Mom still didn't even care a bit. I have that many suitors, that many guys falling for me, lots of good friends who kept telling me how pretty & attractive I am and that I should not believe my Mom's words. Still, it took me more than 30 years to believe otherwise - that I am beautiful and deserve to be loved dearly.

I didn't really hear anything about aspects as I do know conjunctions affect the way the energy is played out as well. I have like 4 or 5 aspects to my ascendant and then aspects to the planet rising in the first house as well. Scorpio rising conjunct Unranus and Neptune in Sag in first house.
My experience tells me that on Most dating sites, people choose their partners on their SIGN. Not sure if you knew this or not. Nghi Lam Jupiter is about luck good looking if it's in your first house, you have to stay fit excerise or dance because Jupiter is about expansion so if you aren't busy staying active you can gain weight. Jupiter in first house second sign, intercepted makes you have to put the extra effort into it.

I’m so glad you explained the Pisces rising/Aries interception thing because it always confuses me- I’m Pisces Rising and I have Mars in my Aries 1st house - and I don’t think I’m a bully but I do get angry. Even my love can be angry and aggressive- and usually over the top over protective. It can be really frustrating sometimes because I know how I want to come across and how I actually am coming across and it’s difficult for me to bend.

I was largely ignored in my family. my mother had nine kids to look after, and my grandmother favored boys over girls. I know I was a huge show off as a kid, because I was an attention whore. I didn't realize those traits might be deeply embedded within me, even though I know deep down I've always struggled with being shy and later on insecure and am nothing like what they accuse me of. :) but it doesn't matter to me, because I would rather show them anyway how wrong they are for putting me down all the time rather than speak up. So my Ascendant is Scorpio , plus in my First house I have both Mars and Neptune in Scorpio. But, my Sun, Mercury, Venus , Uranus and Pluto are all in Virgo. To add to the mix, my Moon is in the 7th House in Taurus in opposition to my First House. What remains are Jupiter in Leo and my North Node and Saturn in Aries. I have virtually No Air in my birth chart. So....I can be Serious 24/7 and tap into both logic and emotions but being ‘light and bubbly’ is a real chore for me . I could be with a bunch of friends all smoking weed and more often than not they’re high and giggly and I’m still coming off like I never took a puff. The funny part is, I am actually high as a kite but I’m so walled up(very Earth Sign tendency and often Scorpio as well)and not loosening up (virgo can be very guarded and withdrawn even around friends and family)that there is a vague feeling of disconnect on both sides. Any input hon? My ex-partner, who I still love deeply and am suffering horrible heartbreak from is a Scorpio (Aries Moon, Taurus Ascendant).

I have my Sun & Venus in the first house (& Taurus Rising, Venus in Taurus - yes, lots of Venus energy), and most things you say are spot on.
Every single one of my exes (all exes, cuz I'm single again now) fell for me at the 1st sight - I get so used to it that I kinda get a bit disappointed if I like someone a bit and he does not fall hard for me right at 1st sight :"P (I know I should not, just being honest here ^_^).
It's not uncommon that a guy saw me for the first time and just got dead frozen for a little while, then started to pursue me right at that moment.
My ex-husband even fell for me before he met me - he just overheard his sister's conversation with me over the phone! He sat next to her in a car, heard my voice & what I said on the other end - and fell for me, just like that.
I have people who continue to like me for 10, 15, 20 years (or probably just have infatuation) without being reciprocated ever - and I made it very clear that they should give up on me, I don't want anyone to suffer because of me. Some of them did not even have any girlfriend during those years. I am not someone who is stunningly beautiful. I wear very little makeup - most of the time just lipsticks, my clothes are nice & attractive but never revealing. I rarely wear expensive luxurious brand stuff, always want to stay as natural & authentic as possible. But I know I have that strong Venus energy in me.
Also, as my Sun is in the 1st house, I am like you said: "What you see is what you get." I am extremely straightfoward (being a Taurini Sun & Aquarius Moon). I say things usually everyone thinks but almost noone dares to speak out loud. But with my Mercury in Taurus, I speak the truth in the most sincere & loving way I could. So, most of the time, people don't get offended.
I've explored astrology for about 3 years now, and so far I have learnt that there are at least 7 indicators/placements in my chart pointing out that men will fall for me right at the 1st sight! Even some female friends told me that if they were a man, they would fall for me and get married to me right away so they wouldn't lose me to any other guy.
So far, things I learnt about astrology have been proved to be accurate to the point sometimes I feel so creepy. Never thought "things are written in the stars" is actually true until I know astrology.
P.S.: But no, Allysa, I wasn't that baby whose mom sees her as "the most beautiful baby in the world". Everyday in my childhood, my mom made sure I was well aware of all my flaws - from appearance to personality. I was a child noone in the family wanted to have and was conceived & born during the most painful time in my mom's life, so she just projected all her suffering & resentment on me since I was born, till today :). No matter how much I try, how much achievement I tried to have to prove to her that I am worth her love and attention, I am still always invisible to her.
When I am physically & mentally abused for years by my ex-husband, my Mom just took side of my abusive ex without even once trying to learn what was going on. When I tried to get divorced with my ex, my Mom said I was ruining my son's life by divorcing him. I became a single mom and went through hell all by myself and my mom never once asks me: "Are you okay?", or asks me just about anything at all :). Everything I ever do is just wrong to her. Even when I won an international award and appeared on national TV and 20+ news channels; my Mom still didn't even care a bit.
I have that many suitors, that many guys falling for me, lots of good friends who kept telling me how pretty & attractive I am and that I should not believe my Mom's words. Still, it took me more than 30 years to believe otherwise - that I am beautiful and deserve to be loved dearly.

I didn't really hear anything about aspects as I do know conjunctions affect the way the energy is played out as well. I have like 4 or 5 aspects to my ascendant and then aspects to the planet rising in the first house as well. Scorpio rising conjunct Unranus and Neptune in Sag in first house.
My experience tells me that on Most dating sites, people choose their partners on their SIGN. Not sure if you knew this or not. So, in my opinion it would be wise of you to re-explain "houses", 1st house, 2nd house, etc... I believe, and I know you will get more subscribers to your channel. I hope this was helpful to you!!

Nghi Lam Jupiter is about luck good looking if it's in your first house, you have to stay fit excerise or dance because Jupiter is about expansion so if you aren't busy staying active you can gain weight. Jupiter in first house second sign, intercepted makes you have to put the extra effort into it.
