Ludovico's music saved my life. I grew up learning the piano through the royal conservatory in Canada and hated it, but did it out of external pressures. When I finished my last playing exams, I stopped playing for over 10 years. Then a tragic incident occurred in my life and that is when I heard the song I Giorni. I bought his sheet music immediately and learned the piece. I have been playing the piano ever since. His music caresses my heart and moves through me with so much emotion. I sit at my piano and play his music every day now. His music saved my life and continues to save my life. Thank you Ludovico.
You’re lucky that you know how to play the piano and can play his music. I really want to learn just so I can play Petricor but in the meantime I’ll keep on pretending that it’s me playing 😂. Einaudi’s music are gems. Every piece i hear, I want to put those back on my keys. The pieces are so damn meditative - his music takes you to places, all you need to do is sit back, close your eyes and you feel it. And that’s it, you are transported. Every time I want or my students want to play something for relaxing or general finger exercises, with beautiful chord progressions and note movements it’s always Einaudi. His contribution to music is priceless
It’s his music that I absolutely love and got me to learn the piano. I listen to his music when I want to calm down, sleep, relax and pretty much everything else.
