I have been roofing for 20 years and have had a huge range of tools ranging in brands such as DeWalt, Makita, Erbauer, Hitachi, Bosch, Milwaukee, hilti, and quite a few really cheap brands like Pro Power and Wilko. my opinion is if you use the tool right you can't really go wrong. the real question is how much your going to use it for and the feel of the tool. if you need a Jigsaw and your only going to use it once then just spend £30 at wilko lol and if it unlikely breaks in one use you can get your money back. if your DIY and want a small collection then you can't go wrong with Erbauer or Hitachi/hikoki or even consider buying used tools. when I started out I brought a used Bosch SDS drill for £20 and even came with a load of bits and chisels 😊 that still works to this day. if your a professional then you don't need advice as you will have your own interests haha and your here for the same reason I am lol you sat down and got stuck on your phone 😭

I’d suggest getting people who know how to use the tools first

Where is the cheap vs expensive? Less than £100 difference accross 3 combined tools?
    Sander £150 Vs Sander £ 118
    Drill £100 Vs Drill £80
    Jigsaw £160 Vs Jigsaw £118
    £410 Vs £316
Hardly a massive difference is it, why not test some of the real budget sub £50 stuff against some of the more common Makita/Dewalt tools?

in my experience in the last few years bosch is just like dyson, its a load of hype and just a brand name and doesnt performe as you would expect. where as others do a far better job withless hassle

Im a cnc Machinist for a large aerospace company (GKN) so with that i have a huge Appreciation for quality and performance and I think erbauer is amazing not as good as milwaukee but right behind there and because of this i have more or less a full set at home.

Green bosch are DIY tools at best, Blue bosch are their heavy duty range. Erbauer tools are good enough for professionals and site work as long as you can ignore the tool snobs who only is dewalt and milwaukee at double the money.

Its been a full year since i purchased my 6 piece ebauer brushless power tools. Amazing build quality for the price and i would say they are better than entry level professional tools i have used made by dewalt and Milwaukee.

More expensive brands like Makita, Milwaukee, Festool, metabo Vs Erbauer would been good to comparison.

They should have put erbauer vs makita or Milwaukee. That said I have a erbauer sds drill and it’s ace for the price

  • @NolimitsNinja

This is a dumb comparison.... Bosch green and Erbauer are almost exactly the same grade. High end DIY / low end trade. It's Bosch Blue that is the expensive stuff.
For Cheap DIY it should be MacAllister / Black and Decker / Titan / Parkside (the Lidl brand).

I always go for the cheapest tool. As long as the specs are suitable for the job I do. There are morons around who use a sander as a planer and a combi drill to be an sds drill then will give a bad product review.

I have these exact three tools. As long as you use decent blades/bits/discs they are brilliant. Also have a multitool which is fantastic too.

now compare both to the next level up of expensive set of tools, mikita/de walt, or even a step beyond that with hilti/festool

I have some of the Erbaurer tools and I think they are great for the money and perform just as well as the lower end Dewalt/Makita stuff. The drill I have is featured in this video and performs much better than my low end Makita G series hammer drill although the Makita does feel better built and can probably take more abuse (the chuck on the Erbaurer has lot its grip a couple of times but that used to happen a lot on my old Dewalt drill) . However this test is a little unfair on Bosch because it was the low end DIY green power tools that were tested and not the Blue range which is designed for the trade. Interestingly Erbaurer (a Kingfisher owned brand) positions itself more as a budget trade tool where as the Bosch Green range is more of a DIY product.
Also nothing was mentioned about the battery technology used here, I am willing to bet the Erbaurers charge a lot quicker given the same capacity. The major downside to Erbaurer is you cannot get any spare parts from Screwfix or B&Q, but the same might be true with the Bosch green range.

    • @mdmconstruction
      @mdmconstruction 2 ปีที่แล้ว

Yeah but just go in Screwfix within two years get a new one no questions asked if it breaks, don't know where they bought these got mine a lot cheaper if I recall rightly between 50 to 80 max for bare tools

Erbauer are really very good for the price, I would consider them budget trade tools. Got a few different corded and cordless Erbauer tools, happy to use the impact driver and combi drill in the workshop alongside a couple of much more expensive Milwaukee impact wrenches. Look and feel very well made, much better option than some of the higher end DIY brands like Ryobi.
Green Bosch tools are pretty much junk, overpriced DIY grade. Might as well buy something really cheap like Black & Decker or Mac Alistair, similar quality for much lower prices. Blue Bosch tools are trade rated but honestly not that impressive for the price, for similar money or less you can get Milwaukee, DeWalt and Makita which are all better than Blue Bosch.

Is this the worst tool comparison video ever? People who haven’t a clue using the tools. They had hammer action on driving the screw.

Not a fair battle really. Erbauer is a good brand and I own both Erbauer and Bosch tools. Bosch has multiple ranges of tools. Bosch Professional series are absolute ACE and Erbauer only has one range. Used a friends Erbauer Jigsaw once and loved it so much ended up buying one just for the sake of keeping it didn't have much use of that. Erbauer tools accessories are not as good and well finished as Bosch ones. Like Drill auxilury handle, Tool case etc. But Erbauer really provides great value for Money for DIY and enthusiasts, Not for Heavy use pro works.
