  • Hi all! Today I will show you how to assemble a simple 12 volt switching power supply with a power of 60 watts!!!
In the presented circuit, I will use the CR6850 chip. Follow my guide carefully and you will succeed!

I designed this circuit as you instructed. It work. It give potential of 12.5V but there is a problem. Even when a small current is drawn from it. The voltage drop to 6.5V. The power supply turn off when 1A current drawing load is connected. ( it may go to protection mode). I used EI 28 ferride core for thise. The transfomer winding was you instructed. Also visually there is no fault in the circuite. What is the probblem. Please answer me. (Can ic or transistor problems) ❤️❤️❤️

If you assembled the circuit correctly, then I think there may be one of two problems.
The first is the incorrect inductance of the primary winding of the transformer.
And the second is the wrong resistance of shunt R6, try making it even smaller.

Dear Sir, I found the Problem. The 2N60 MOSFET i have used is fake. MOSFET not working properly. I removed it. I put a good one. Now it work well. Thank you so much for help me. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

When we taking a current of 2.5A from this SMPS Power Supply. The Transfomer makes a loud noice. Becouse of that. The Power supply is reduce efficiency. How to prevent this vibration in transfomer. Please answer me. Thank you.❤❤❤

I don't know what your sound is. This may be due to incorrect inductance of the primary winding, or simply the wire on the frame is poorly tensioned or both halves of the core are weakly held. At the factory, such things are glued together and impregnated with varnish. If the sound is quiet, ignore it

Do you want to connect all those terminals indicated by the black arrowheads to the negative terminal? Please answer me ❤❤❤

Yes. All black arrows are a high voltage negative terminal. And the arrows in the form of strokes are the connection of the low-voltage negative terminals.

I make this circuit and transfomer as you instruction. But it maximum current (12V) about 2.5A. Why?????

there are two possible problems here
1- the transformer is wound incorrectly, or the inductance of the primary winding is incorrect.
2- high resistance of resistor R6 (0.95 ohm). Most likely you have a lot of resistance. Try to reduce it by soldering a 2-3 ohm resistor in parallel to it and see if the power of the power supply increases
