Hi all! Today I will show you how to assemble a powerful switching power supply from an old TV!. The main thing you need to take from there is a horizontal scan transformer - TVS. Many parts of this UPS can be found in old equipment, so it will not cost much. The topology of the block is a semi-bridge self-oscillator. This is why the circuit does not need additional drivers to control the trans...

Hi all. Today I will tell you how to connect a twelve-volt fan to any voltage. The whole secret lies in choosing a quenching resistor. It will “extinguish” excess stress. To find the resistance of this resistor you need to do simple calculations. This method is very simple and does not require any stabilizers or microcircuits. With it you can power absolutely any fans from a higher voltage. #am...

Very funny))) There is only an AI voice here. Unfortunately my English is very bad, so I have to do this.
I think you're from the UK, tell me how bad is the AI voice acting? Can you listen and understand him?
Thanks for your work with solid Russian tech. Could you make a "Short Killer", too.

I have not soviet parts....Can use ordinary parts?
Yes, of course you can. It is necessary to select transistors with similar characteristics. Current, voltage and gain. You can simply enter in a search engine: Transistor KT805 analogues.... And they will show you what you can put in their place.
ai part is aweful
thanks for the video very well done i'am making my pcb today and also adding class A tone controls👍

Can we use more neon lamps in series without resistor
If you set playback speed to 2x it is still realy slow video :-D
Is this still working i m planning to make 8 cell each battery or just 24 volt ,outside battery
yes it works
What a review but i wanna know how much maximum mah battery we can attach to it to store power like 3.7v 20 ampere
We can connect batteries of any capacity, even large ones.
Very good.
thanks
no you can't
Great video.Anyone make this update and same values?
Nice video
Rất trực quan và dễ hiểu . cảm ơn bạn

I have this exact cable. But the problem is when using a power bank it just goes to sleep , like nothing is connected . Even tested it with 3 different power banks.
Apparently there is a very small load at the output of the converter, which is why the power bank falls asleep
@@Den_Electro_channel That makes sense , thank you for the information.
when you increased the output Amps, why didnt the overload shutdown the oscillation through the current resistor, because i thinks maybe the current resistor is not working properly
Thanks for this information
Big thanks:)
When we taking a current of 2.5A from this SMPS Power Supply. The Transfomer makes a loud noice. Becouse of that. The Power supply is reduce efficiency. How to prevent this vibration in transfomer. Please answer me. Thank you.❤❤❤
I don't know what your sound is. This may be due to incorrect inductance of the primary winding, or simply the wire on the frame is poorly tensioned or both halves of the core are weakly held. At the factory, such things are glued together and impregnated with varnish. If the sound is quiet, ignore it
Hi there. very smart
Thanks
What voltage does the UPS float the battery at?
You may wish to consider stability. The loop gain will change with the output voltage....
I'd be more worried about the power supply for the TL494: the main output winding got doubled up, which means the TL494 is getting half the voltage it used to at 5V and twice at 20V, which also means about half the base/gate drive current at 5V and twice at 20V. I doubt the TL494 and switching devices will operate reliably across the whole range under load. Ideally, you'd have an independent fixed voltage rail operate the controller and gate drivers.
Can you please explain why we need resistor R12 1K? Looks like a SMPS default load but not clear why.
This supply has some regulation on the right
So we have 2 outputs on the secondary. First is 24v and the second 12 13 is to power the IC circuit.
Right :)
Great video
Thanks bro!!
👍👍👍 💚 From India💐💐💐
I make this circuit and transfomer as you instruction. But it maximum current (12V) about 2.5A. Why?????
there are two possible problems here 1- the transformer is wound incorrectly, or the inductance of the primary winding is incorrect. 2- high resistance of resistor R6 (0.95 ohm). Most likely you have a lot of resistance. Try to reduce it by soldering a 2-3 ohm resistor in parallel to it and see if the power of the power supply increases
You helped me! thanks
Very good explanation about the design and the t1 transformer construction picture are very nice to build. Professional work. ❤ Thanks Vincent from Chennai, India.
thanks!
Hi, I have a problem, the red DC LED always stays on even if I don't connect anything, how can I solve it?

This is very interesting because a fact that minteresting. About video about using DC current on AC switching power supply th-cam.com/video/E0P5gtg0CBY/w-d-xo.html AND YES IT WORK if you increase the output tension of your switching power supply beware to the condenser value use at least 25% higher if you want it to last so for 19V use condenser at 25V or more very interesting video thank you sir
Thx!!
I experienced a weird thing on a 42v psu when trying out resistors. I connected different resistors by holding them with pliers and I was evrntually satisfied to see the voltage drop..... but it kept dropping.. and dropping.. and droooopppiiiiinnng.. slower and slower but now the output is on 0,1 volt and I have not touched anything for minutes. I'm confused. What did I toast? Some capacitor must have given it's last breath.
А сам чё не можешь Speak to english ?
Great Video, thanks, I like the deep transformer surgery. Note that on slide at 11:37 it needs to be read as "=11,25 turns" (instead of volt).
Thank you. Yes, I was wrong.
Oh.. and that's where I got confused. Thx!
Salve, questo bilanciatore è indicato per batterie con celle LIFEPO4 con 3,2V ?
Hello. I can't say for sure. I checked balancing only on lithium-ion batteries. But I think it should work for lithium iron phosphate too. I assume that different types of batteries have their own voltage to which balancing discharges them. When you select the battery type, the balancing settings also change.
@@Den_Electro_channel Grazie amico, si la preoccupazione è se riconosce il voltaggio della cella lifepo4 e di conseguenza stabilisca giusti parametri di bilanciamento minimo e massimo
