Neat. I just made a 60s Batman villain lair base at a 45 degree angle by jumping off my crooked freighter to a nearby planet. You land on the planet at the same angle as your freighter.
There seems to be some basics you dont know about, like you only need to place one item at the boundary of your base to extend the building area, or that you can stack generators on top of each other.
Or that you can use nav data to summon your starship to a starship pad (at the start of the video). Or you know... that the terrain manipulator has been upgraded to have a "flatten" and "restore" setting, so you no longer need to find a flat planet or use floor parts to create a grid.
I'm just starting, but I'm planning on building a dyson sphere around a moon. So far, I have two low orbit platforms around a moon in a system near the core of Eissantam.(xbox1- Kiluma's Home, not far from The High Command system).
Good luck with that. I have a base PS4, and just custom building a simple base building sees the frame rate drop down to single-digit flickering (I think I still have an old video or two showing the spectacular drop in frames as I try to build something). So, I keep seeing all these incredible builds - while thinking of the hot mess that NMS descends into whenever I basically just build a rectangular box.
You could have pulled a Disney World and kept the entire town a little off the ground and ran all your power under it. Also, I would suggest doing different areas. (Market, Residential, Vehicle Dealership/Parking Garage, Industrial/Refinery)
I only have about 230 hours in this game, I have been making Fusion igniters and selling them as well as giving them away at the nexus. I keep getting the glitch with the back pack refiner as well, it's always loading up with salvage data after jumping through a few portals from station to station. So I have over 200K nanites, I already got all the recipes available both in the nexus, from the single pad stations on planets and from the manufacturing facilities I have no alternative but to refine the salvage data. I usually give people 5 fusion igniters to get them to upgrade from their starter ship, but I am up to 1 billion units I give away more than I sell. So I found an easy way to farm, but you have to modify your freighter, so mine is two stories inside and I have probably 200, 4 spot grow beds Most of it is Fungal mould for making acid, but I also have quite a bit of cactus flesh and solanium. I am still building beds for star bulb and frost crystals, but the freighter has endless power as long as you extend and increase the size of it internally. It took me around 40 hours to unlock everything to build the igniters and stasis devices, it was a lot of factories but I used my ship with the infra knife to open the doors and just circled around the facility waiting for the sentinels to stop searching.
@@Tonytaru Another trick for him would be to use the terrain manipulator to dig a temporary tunnel and go into it or find a cave if one is nearby, it would allow him to give himself time until you could give him something. I know how hard it is when first starting out, but always think ahead, buy things like ion batteries and oxygen capsules in bulk at stations, they are not too expensive and are life savers! Also try to have at least two shields for each type of situation you expect to encounter while exploring, it will give you time to call in your ship and save yourself.
there is a bass computer guess you're not going to upload it then since u put it underground, not even a different coloured floor tile to easily find it again hehe
I think learning is part of the fun with this game, and part of the experience. I love the gameplay and content and I'm not even halfway through your video yet as I'm writing this. It's nice to see just other views/gameplay styles with this game. Im starting a series myself and i will definitely learn a few things from your videos. Thanks man!
Are I ate spaghetti? I are. Are I making poop of spaghetti? I are. Are I watching no mans sky video with self above toilet? I are. It are going to are it out of the are with arrow. Goodbye.
There is a ton to do. I just started a couple of days ago and am excited. (Multiple main story lines, farming (crops), farming (minerals/gases), hunting ships to salvage, powering up your fleet, maxing out your favorite ship(s), taming creatures to ride, etc)
@@RichARock Nothing wrong? Well if you like clay or playdoh then i guess it's you're thing. But when you pay full price for a game (60 dollars!) It better look good! But this game doesn't. The anti ali is horrible, the textures looks like clay and bland.
Use the console on the landing pad to call your ship to it.

Enjoy the holidays Z. Hope you have a wonderfull Christmas.
I built a huge city under and around a trading post. I just joined the discord. I'll drop some pics if there's an area for screenshots.

I feel ya takes about a hour into building and farrk she goes slow hahhaha
Best way to extend out to a power source is using batteries. One every 100m or so works nicely.
I have a 3 x 3 1 story building filled with batteries for that

Merry Christmas from Australia bud
ive already built 3 cities in no mans sky we should team up to build bigger and better stuff! just a thought
city of atlantis! why normal go underwater!

Thank you LuxorVan, very cool!
How do you give stuff? I played with my brother and couldnt figure out how to give him sodium and he died to hazardous planet 😅

Come on by the WARPWAY on PS4 and start a new city for Travelers! Enjoyed the video! - No Man's Sky Wiki - WARPWAY 2
Get a teleport coordinates to people, they just help you to build a city)

I think that the annoying part has to be the fact that he didn't use the flatten or restore function of the terrain modifier
The base icon will show him exactly where it is forever.
Just got the game and am downloading it. Csnt wait to play it.
Awesome. You came to play at a right time! if you want any tricks or tips let me know.
hope you have a great year next year
Got a planet I have built a few large monuments. Need to figure out how to share portal on xbox1
Use camera mode by pressing x and take a photo, it will reveal the coordinates for the portal.
You can just put one wall on the edge , to increas it ;p
Wish NMS was cross platform
I would join you in this city building! Currently on PS4
It is..I'm on ps4 too and i'm the only one amongst my friends who play

Wait what?! CITY BUILDING now?!
a synthesizer does not make music i dont know why people think it does
There was a new base item added that plays music
In game synthesiser? 😍
Why not just build it over water. Flat enough for you?
Love your videos

More building
Can other viewers join said city?
I sorta want more Star Citizen

I'm creative main
You got the same views in an hour as Asphalt got in 12 minutes 👌
Use your car on planet to get around
It’s kind of stupid how much I love this game.

Just discovered nms looks much better with antialiasing turned OFF! Sharper and more serious sci fi. Wish there was a gritty textures mod :(

Ok
So basically still nothing to do in the game. You can build some thing and then leave it. Fascinating...
Sjel Bro, the game’s obviously not for you. That doesn’t mean there’s nothing to do, there is plenty to do.

Astroneer or No Man's sky?
No mans sky
Astroneer for the exterior gameplay and cartoony looks; no man's sky for the universe size and indoor gameplay with some decent graphics
I love the content but I feel like to get more subscribers you should go to other games but don’t quit the games you play now
Mike P lol. Yea. He should work harder is what youre saying.
It looks like Spore to be honest. The graphics is like 2008.
Only good 2008 games had these graphics there is nothing wrong with NMS graphics
