I just found your channel today and you're actually a saint. You explain things very well and are very informative. thank you so much for continuing doing youtube you really are an amazing teacher!
Thanks again my man, loving your videos, love how you speak slowly and clearly, and are extremely thorough. I've got post processing, lights, and shadows in my game now thanks to you, and it looks beautiful, really makes the scene come alive.
The only thing what doesn't work for me is the post processing on trigger, when everything is supposed to turn black and white. I did everything in the video like it's supposed to be. Can someone please give some advice? I would appreciate it very much!
I hope to get a answer here but, I currently have my Maincamera Tagged as Editor Only and wondering is there a way to make post processing work with the camera tagged as such?
Awesome video, but PLEASE add a follow up on how to exclude certain objects from post-processing. I'm currently stacking Cameras and no matter what I do, the PP effects still affects all objects 😥
This works for me, but when i got global post processing enabled, and want another effect, the volumes add up instead of change (i dont want that to happen). Is there a way to make it work that way?
Thanks for the tutorial. Everything works well except for the local volume. For some reason, it does not trigger when the player makes contact. Also, in the scene/game view it does not show any changes regardless what effects i add. But soon as i switch from local to global, these changes appear.
turns out im one of those people that has been making a 2d game for months now, but there isn't a link for me to follow in the desc to change 2D to 2D URP :
For anyone who might wondering "Hey WTF I just did all what he and every order video did ... But for some reason it doesn't work ! I even created a full new project to test but nothing work !" Here is my tips : - Check the layer of the global value gameobject. If it is not "Default" it won't work. Don't ask me why, IDK and I'm not angry to have spend like 2 hours to found this. - Check the "Renderer 2D Data" (Mine was named "Renderer2D") there's an option here : On the end "Post-processing" -> "Enabled" -> true If you're still lock ... well, Good luck, see you in hell Altrough, thank for the tutorial
Some update : The Layer of the Global Volume (and not Global Value, my mistake) should be equal to the "Volume Mask" in the "Environment" on the camera Can be usefull for excluding object of Post Process !
Best Unity tutorials on YT bar none, cheers!
Thank you so much for the quick and informative rundown - awesome content!

I already have a project pretty far along that was made with the base 2D preset; how would I add post processing to it?

Why 3/4 of these effects does work for me only in play mode? Ex Lens Distortion, I can see it only when I hit play button
i think they are calculated in runtime
My camera goes black when I enable post processing. Please help
I don't see the link in the description...
It’s at the bottom
"Chromatic aberration, some people like it some people hate it."
Lovers: Apply it as an universal visual enhancer.
Haters: Use it for concussion.
XD

I must have forgotten to include it. 😮 It’s the video I uploaded before this one. I have time stamps on that video so you can find it fast. 🙂
Like if you also thought it was Elon Musk in the thumbnail
