Just bought one from a lady that I sold a new car to. 2000 Honda accord EX V6 coupe. Has 230k miles but she maintained it very well and it drives nice. I can feel your excitement driving it. Day 1 with it but so far I love it
0:46 My 2000 Honda Accord EX V6 doesn’t have any of the ABS, Airbag or whatever lights on when it’s running. I bought it new in 2000 and it has racked up over 338000 miles. It’s still going with original transmission and engine. The transmission does slip a bit but it runs fine.
Currently mobbing in a 2000 VTEC 4 cylinder with 260,000 mi transmission had to be replaced and it's really hard to find manual transmissions but that little thing mobs if you keep them up on maintenance, they are some of the best cars you can have
Ours has 94k miles now, saw a similar one for sale for $12k maybe 6 months ago, crazy price. We paid half that 10 years ago. I bought a f23 from mom in law with 62k miles.. these cars will be running long after we're dead..
There are lots of these still on the road because of different govt bumper standards that took effect in the early 2000s.🚗 These were built to take 5mph into a wall without damage, unlike cars made just after to different rules that sacrificed front ends to save passengers. So routine parking lot collisions (front or rear) that will take the fleets of newer cars out, did not damage these.🚙
i currently have that exact model with around 207k miles, but it has an oil leak, crank sensor problem, and the transmission sliding. the car idles with hiccups here and there, and it still runs like a clock. best 2000 bucks i ever spent
We have a 2000 accord v6 two door from my father in law in California and it's still pretty fast even for having 168k on her. It's got sun damage and the seats are torn up but I always have people asking me to sell it but I think I'll keep it
Have the same one same wheels same interior ex learher. Gotta fix those solenoids tranny only going to 40-50mph and reverse is out… working on it getting back in motion California stock everything.
No …just drive. U may have limited anti lock brakes in a wet skid but I personally would put a peice of black duct tape over the light. That’s what I did with mine. I have other driving videos of it on my channel. I think it was a 2002 and about 270k on the miles. It was a beast!

I don't know what it is about the 6th gen Accords, but they are very charming cars! They really make a lasting impression!

You should buy another of these vehicles, because they are currently strong and original.
Brilliant cars those Honda's shame we don't really get the V6 over the pond in the UK just the 4 pot. Thanks for sharing Joe
Glad you enjoyed it

Love them J-30's
Those turn of the century Accords are hard to kill. I see them on the road all the time. I just don’t like white, too vanilla.

I have the abs light and srs light...it's my daily should I fix? Does it mess with my brakes?

@JoesGoldenGarage yea my mechanic told there may be a problem with the break pump and he said those are expensive
Finance it out and make 7k? How?
Tbh I haven’t seen one these Hondas without the srs on
How much to fix
Perfect size. Bigger than this is useless.
