I freaking hate cold. That is why I live on the coast of Georgia. We may get a few cold days. But most of the time it is in the 70s in the winter. I love the heat. We usually go to the Caribbean in the winter if it is going to be cold. We also go several times a year in the summer.

I went fishing in a frozen River for hours one year, WADING, dodging icebergs 20 feet long and moving fast on that trout stream. It was my way of celebrating a birthday that year... I turned 64 that day and got skunked fishing. Tis chilly in the subarctic on January 23rd.
I love it when Amy comes on the podcast! We wanna see more Amy! You all are so down to earth. It would be a blast hanging out with you all.
I usually watch every podcast and enjoy them. But the three of them together and seeing Dale Jr smile and laugh like that was pretty cool. If you 3 had an hour of this every month or something - it’d be a huge hit.

The ice bath gives a person an idea what it is like to fall through the ice in the winter time. Never happened to me and would NOT be able to do the ice bath. Uffda!!

I watch this podcast on here from time to time and its fun to hear all the stories , but hearing and seeing Amy on here was pretty good. This is the first time ive ever seen her too. She seems like a good person and a good wife.

I'm from Northwestern Ontario but this is also common in Wisconsin and Minnesota - we like to sauna all year long
It is really fun in the winter - break a hole in a lake, sit in the sauna till you are hot, jump in the lake and run back into the sauna
Was Just going to say the same thing. I’m a life long Minnesotan. We do charity events where people open holes in a frozen lake and jump in for fun.

Such an awesome segment. Amy definitely needs to be on more often, she has a great voice, beautiful and you can tell her and Dale have great chemistry. I am sure the stories could be endless.
A few takeaways from this video/podcast. One, it is refreshing to mix things up a little and talk about things away from racing. Two, chicken nuggets and honey mustard are more important than getting in shape for a hike in the Grand Canyon. I feel ya Mike. Third, In the sea of Kardashians, be an Amy Earnhardt. This lady had enough self respect not to show herself in underwear/bathing suit getting in the ice tube. Nothing but class.

That was great Dale Mike & Amy!!! I never laughed so hard in a long time 😂😂😂😂 When fell over a wall 5 ft. to the ground I took a ice bath for a few days to help my body get back. That’s why foot ball players do it all the time. Mike your wife did it 4 times because at the end of they hike she had to come back down. 😂😂 Great show thank you for doing it 😅😅😅
