Incredible, the V19 is NEVER MENTIONED. Only in Canada apparently this is a review of TWO SCANNERS.

I thought you were comparing the V39 to the V19! I wanted to know what the difference is between the two!

The quality of monitor/printers can contribute to the scanning output as well. If you have a standard monitor, don't expect good colors after scanning and blame the scanner after. You have to match them. A "calibrated" monitor dedicated for photography (this will produced life like colors in your screen), a good scanner (epson/canon), and editing software using the color profile of the monitor (ICC color profile) to print and a good color printer (not a standard all around printer) for best result. By the end of the day its your budget, its your scanner and its your color liking what's important. Hope this helps.
So for extra $30 over the V19 is it comes with extra software like Photoshop and can stand and scan slightly vertical.
Can this model work with an iPad Pro or does one need a desktop to connect with?

I need help with V39 attached to my iMAC, you know, the Apple desktop. I wish you and the others would specify that your video concerns setting up the V39 on a Windows PC. This is the 3rd video where the computer type was not identified causing some frustration and loss of time.😡
I tried to buy this at a local Best Buy store in San Mateo. The sales person said that the store no longer sells flat bed scanners. Hmm....

From my experience ( i worked with different scaners,), a good scaner get excelent result without using filters (descreen, unsarp etc) or a good scan software. The scans print at good quality without artefacts or issues on any cheap printer.
No exception those are only CCD base scaners.V39 and 19 are CIS. Any CIS scan is at maximum decent and the print is bad.
PS: once CCD scaner had double the price then CIS , now they are 4-5 time more expensive even if the production price is just a little biger.
what is the best scanner bigger than 8.5x11"? to scan art work and drawings?
Is this a wireless device ? I like wired devices....they are more reliable......
You should provide this basic information....like.....does this car have wheels ?
A very simple question that I haven’t been able to find an answer to: can it scan as .JPG file? (Or any other picture file that is not a .PDF file.)

So it is completely wireless apparently by this review, yet requires no power source at all. WHAT BLACK MAGIC/WITCHCRAFT is employed by this scanner to work with no power supply or connection to a computer?
Craig The power source is a USB-B male to female. Essentially, your laptop/cpu unit is the power source when plugged-in. Pretty near for on the go and remote work. 👏🏾
