main guest green one give it to you. and after max lvl or someting its going to change hiram gear tear 1 thats why be sure your stats good or u want to be if its not u can destroy them and all infusions come to you u need spend some labor and litte momey again
It would have been nice if you took a couple minutes to explain what you were doing. Not everyone is an Archeage veteran who knows the upgrade system. Since you were going through the process, a simple explanation of the what and why's would have been much appreciated. Instead, you just started in blazing away too fast to even try to follow in spite if no explanations.

I have a question that no1 in chat/discord seem to be able to awnser. I started the game out with leather. infused the BP. later i desided i wanted to do cloth. I tried to use an item to extract the synth material but i gues i used the wrong one cause i got a diffrent item out of it. Now...because i did that i dont have enough syn to upgrade all my armor. So i cant awaken it either. ( i do have enough scrolls) How do i get the missing rank 1 synth? to upgrade the last pieces?

@@Banana-cc5rx you can go for Hiram gear which can be regraded by that way with infusión or go for crafted gear by regrading but isn't as before, there is more chance and more ítems to protect ur gear.

You can also salvage the quest gear and re-do it before awakening to hiram. There's an item on the vendor that allows you to do that, so you can get 2 perfect stats before going hiram

Hey there. Could you please explain why you enhanced the weapon from Grand -> Arcane -> Heroic, but for the rest you went straight from Grand -> Heroic. It's confusing. Thanks.

@@Arekkuusu You'll get 2 types of materials when you quest. Infusions and awakening scrolls. There are different grades for different tiers. When you first start your gear is basic so your quest rewards will be green infusions and green awakening scrolls. Open inventory and click Gear upgrade. Switch to Synthesis tab. You synthesis your gear using the infusions (the bottles of liquid thingy) and when it goes max XP you switch to the awakening tab and use the scrolls you got to awaken it. Once its awakened you keep doing quests and you get tier 2 mats and you repeat the steps only this time with the tier 2 infusions and awakening scrolls. Keep doing that till you hit Hiram, its actually pretty simple system.

this gearing system is so convoluted and backwards - as a new player at lvl 28, i watched this video and I still dont get it. I don't like it at all and considering quitting the game. My gear lvl is 1 and i can barely solo and cant seem to upgrade. Such a stupid game mechanic

do you pick if you want cloth plate or leather at the start and stick with that until you make it into hiram?
You'll be able to swap it around partway through at some gold and Labor cost, look for ZZavage's video on quest gear

You get them by doing the story line quests (green quests).

@bellamy prime I got Int/Magic Attack on my bow then when I awakened to Hiram, Magic Attack changed to Melee Attack

You get a set of Quest-Hiram while leveling, and at the end you can turn it into T1 Hiram

Yes, you can always farm more gear drops.
You can also salvage the quest gear and re-do it before awakening to hiram. There's an item on the vendor that allows you to do that, so you can get 2 perfect stats before going hiram
im level 32 and have no awakening scrolls wtf, i have been following the main quest too

i play cloth but i generally suggest plate because its easier
So is this just found gear? you don't get upgrades that you swap out as you go?
its gear you get from the main story quest very early on and you tier it up/awaken it to high grades with you as you progress through the levels.

the gear you get basically from level 1-5 you can tier up and take with you all the way until end game.
