Another tip on the Ultimate Glider: If you don't want to spend Gilda on the other two designs, you can just pick up the Ultimate Design and craft it as is with 25 Lumber, Stone, Fabric, and Leather

My dumbass didnt think to check out the founder soon enough Im sad that I will start the game late (probably next month I'll buy it) ;'( Oh well! I'll just watch out for any future review in the mean time. I really do hope Unchained will stay true to what it is. I played AA in beta then launched before going hiatus for months and then years. i didnt understand, are you supposed to do ONLY the sidequest for the mount and the glider and skip the rest of the yellows. or are you supposed to do all of them?
@@mubbeldacka If your goal is to reach 30 asap then the only yellow quests you'll want to do up untill then are the glider and mount quests (maybe the boat quest if you want to RP as a pirate ealy on :D). Other then those 2 stick to only doing the green story/race quests. After reaching 30 and getting the first of your basic upgrades from the green quests you'll start to do most yellow quests you encounter.
I kuddos the lvl 28 weapon upgrade, i did on test server and i had to compensate that by crafting tax certificates that won't be available at launch so BE CAREFUL, normally that lvl 27-28 is near a main story boss
So I played the Vanilla NA Archeage launch like 5 years ago. I remember it was a RUSH to get your 8x8 and 16x16 plots and slam them down. I had so sail across the ocean in a rowboat and basically got both plots in the first couple hours of playing. Claimed my land, started and ALT and did it again. Not even a day later, ALL the claimable land on the server was taken. So i'm a bit confused as you said 2 things. 1) you need to be 50 to get your first large plot, did they change this? 2) No need to rush, enjoy the launch. I simply cannot enjoy this game if I don't end up getting a good chunk of land.... So I certainly feel pressured. Have they increased the land to player ratio? Is it going to be an issue getting land like in Vanilla?>
I remember very clearly! it was super fun. This time around the land is opening up 5 days later. Everyone will have 4 full days to try and prepare the land rush. You need to be level 50 to get your 16x16 farm design. If you don't hit 50 you can just buy 16x16 houses or even upgrade your 8x8 farm into a 16x16. The upgraded 16x16 farm and the regular 16x16 farm design you get from the quest at 50 are two different designs. The new rokhala zone is a new zone that's literally ALL housing, this will really really help solve a lot of land issues for people.

Everyone just standing around waiting to place plots.... Ughhhh so stressful! Why can't they just instance it or add in more zones like the Rokhala as you mentioned...

The only benefit of hitting 50 is to get your 16x16 farm but like i said, you can simply buy a 16x16 house or upgrade your 8x8 into one if you can gather enough mats for them. You can absolutely be under level 50 and still have a 24x24 and 16x16 ready to go for land rush!

Maybe you could make a guide or video explaining this stuff. I think it would be greatly valued and appreciated. As Land in Archeage is really the golden ticket to even playing it in the first place. Right now i'm just getting on the PTR to try and figure it all out again. But come the 15th, I want to be sure I hit all the requirements for the Land unlock day. I'm super nervous about the "land rush" I've never played this game but it sounds so amazing.. but I'm nervous that because I have no experience I will be really behind.. with leveling and grinding and getting the money and "gilda" or whatever it's called.
Question being if you manage to get 200 gilda for the 24x24 house .. how do you actually get enough tax verts to lay that house and your 8x8 farm? is it just a case of laying the farm first.. crafting more tax certs then laying the house after? .... becuase that isnt going to fly when everyones panic laying properties xD
hello, i started the game as and sold some of the hiram gear, bc i got better gear from enemy, i am lvl 33 now, do i need to start a new char or can i get that gear somewhere else?
It's different for each race, didn't want to make the video too long. Mount will be super early, like around level 5ish, glider will be no later than level 12 (assuming you are doing greens only). Again, varies upon race but roughly that
@@Radhep123 you can do that yeah, if you want to speed run though i'd suggest playing the PTS which is free and make a new character. Wouldn't take much time. It's very early in the quest chain. Doing all the yellows until the glider part though will def make things longer. In the EAST the glider quest is found in Tigerspine, not sure about the west
WHy not do any other than the green quests until lvl 30? I did that now and I need to backtrack because I am super under geared! I have a gear score of 800 where others at lvl 30 say they have around 1500?! Or did I do the "Only do the green quests until lvl 30" wrong?! Please help!!

I had heard of the "do only green quests" thing and relayed it to a friend who just downloaded "Legacy" to get a feel for the game before unchained. Somehow he ended extremely underleveled and fighting some ninjas up a tower with a catman NPC (Baht or something) while he was like 11 levels bellow the monsters. I don't know what he fucked up, is it possible to just SKIP a whole zone of green quest by accident or something ? lol

so I'm trying to layout the best guide to level to 55 along with getting the blue salt quests done (before land rush) is this the most ideal route (EAST) 1-30(sends me to Two Crowns to continue Greens) - Blue Salt 8x8 - Halcy->Hellswamp->Sandeep->Rookborne - Kerkasi Once I am done with Kersaki - do i want to hit Two Crowns and continue green quests OR do go do my 16x16 scarecrow?
Uhm after rookeborn continue green and yellow quests. Make sure you hit the level benchmarks before moving on. I’ve listed those benchmarks in the video. After you are 50 do your 16x16 quest. 16x16 quest has you go to maha back to austera then from austera to two crowns. Then you get your 16. Wouldn’t bother doing this until after you’re 60 though
Hmm - haven't played since beta. Problem then was that all the available space for building stuff got used up in the first few days... and I sort of wonder if/how they fixed that?
There are 2 new zones made for the new races wich have a MASSIVE Housing zone. If you realy dont want to take any risk then these 2 zones will make sure you get at least 2 plots.
Which kind of sea trading will the game have? I remember I played a few years ago and I used to run trade packs across the sea which was really profitable... but then I tried playing last year on the "re-release" and they had changed all the trading and how it worked. Do you know which system they are using, or what I'm even talking about?

Hey guys I'm new to archeage and I'm sort of confused with the launcher, I want to play it but I don't want to be playing the older one. I've downloaded the gylph launcher and play the archeage game but I'm not sure if it's the unchained version or not. In anticipation for any response thank you for helping out a new guy join the RPG world
I got to level 30 today and sold my starter set.. Should I remake my character and keep the starter gear or can I still progress at a reasonable pace with different gear?
having a farm opens up the possibility to savely plant any crop (used for alchemy, cooking) or animal (cooking, others) or sappling (logging for well logs). You can use public farms but they will be full by the time you hit them I guess. Housing opens up things like setting down items which increase your profficiency levels by a few ten thousands and also is kinda of mandatory if you choose cooking or alchemy (google Apothecary House for this). You can also resort to illegal farming (basically placing anything plantable outside of a public farm or your own property but everyone has access to it so yeah better hide it good) but I wouldn't recommend it unless you found a really good spot. Plot Twist here - there are little to no spots which aren't already known by someone. At launch you have the best chances to do this since everyone is focused on leveling. But again... 1 player can ruin your 500 tree farm. Another point is - lumber is a really rare resource at the beginning. Everything (even houses) need at least 100 lumber/1 lumber pack to build. So lumber will be in a high demand. Again illegal farming is something you can consider but well. In the end it depends - if you wanna do Trade Runs or Cargo Runs (not sure what the right word is currently) you should have at least a farm. Otherwise the you have to pay even more attention to detail when it comes to making profit. Another good money maker is mining which gives you acces to ore and stone (ore via fortuna veins which are not that rare when mining). Also burning labour grants exp (I think 5k labour is 1,5 levels?). So you make money and level up. And mining is free of all property nonsense. Just find a stone pile and go for it. You just need a good spot which there are a few I know of. Long story short - it isn't ultimately neccessary to own a property (or more - remember you have to pay taxes) but it helps generating addtional resources either for simply selling them or using them for your own.
@@rarecandyguy4268 i wouldn't suggest illegal farming at all to be honest. A lot of players will return at least for a while for aau.. most of them have only 1 goal.. to steal illegal farms and gank trade runners. There will be a lot more people trying to steal illegal farms than people who actually put illegal farms. So yea... putting illegal farms for the first 3 months is a completly waste of time and money.
I followed this guide and only did green quests at start, I found that I was only level 4 when I hit the area for the horse quest (which requires level 6), I continued doing just greens and I'm only 5 but yet almost done with starting region. Are we supposed to do some of the yellows too? (I finished the starting region at level 6, only doing green quests, just don't feel like I'm leveling like I should when doing just green quests).
First make sure, you're testing on PTS2 or PTS3, as they're the AA-Unchained 6.0 Testservers with improved leveling for all races. Because the PTS1 is the normal AA 6.0 Testserver which have the normal leveling speed and therefore only Dwarfs and Warbornes got increased leveling speed.
Yeah it’s fine but pts is available for all now so I’d suggest playing pts. Reason being 6.0 DID have changed so you won’t get the exact experience and prep in the free to play version
I dont know if its the settings you do when you render your video or settings when editing the video but when i play this game it looks really ugly. I have my graphic settings to very high but even when i put them on low nothing changes nor those brightness. Anyone else have that problem on PTS or does this game has bad graphics, it is a 5 year old game....but i am having fun with it.
How is 300 unrealistic in guilde guildie whatever coin. 130 from green quest + realistic ach points, 160 for 40 each daily for 4 days. thats 290, all u gotta do is just make sure u get that 10 last. I havn't played Archeage before, just bout to start my adventure with some irl buddies today. But ye correct me if im wrong but it seems possible to get 300.
Same game but released in a different payment model. One is free to play but with heavy pay to win mechanics, unchained is buy to play but with 0 pay to win mechanics.

15 October is the offcial opening of the server. You can now play on the PTS server but long ques and problems plague them. You can also reserve your name and download the client in advance of players who dont preorder so thats a big +
I've heard some people say to skip all yellow quests until 30 and then some say to make sure you hit all of them as you'll be about 1-2 levels behind if you dont. Can you expand on this and maybe explain your reasoning for NOT doing side quests prior to lvl 30?
I suggest you do all quests from start , I skipped most of the yellow quests and I ended up few lvls under and even after I got back and finished all the quests in all the maps I still was underlvled
02:17 I *really* don't like the upgrade gear mechanic. Really destroys the neat crafting and support skills that's a large part of the game for many people.
It seems the entire game has been trough a massive overhaul this time. Not like with Trion fresh start with broken promise of no p2w but a legit overhaul to take out every advantage of spending real money to gold. You can still multi account tough but on diffrent PC's / Laptops so there are ways to increase your income vs a single account but you are not allowed to run multiple AA clients on the same system. But compared to how AA was with Apex and other bullshait cashshop / costumes advantages they are all removed or even soulbound now.
Regarding glider, make sure to equip each level of the glider as you craft it up, so u get all 4 achievements to get free glider inventory box

Yea, you can buy them back from Weapon / Armour merchants in any town that has them. Buy the boxes back.

BM03 legacy severs only the dwarves and warborn can do this. They’ve changed the questing for the legacy classes in 6.0/Unchained

is this the most ideal route (EAST)

Uhm after rookeborn continue green and yellow quests. Make sure you hit the level benchmarks before moving on. I’ve listed those benchmarks in the video. After you are 50 do your 16x16 quest. 16x16 quest has you go to maha back to austera then from austera to two crowns. Then you get your 16. Wouldn’t bother doing this until after you’re 60 though

Hmm, cannot say I am a fan of the questing design. More fluidity or freedom (at your own risks) would be better.

Hmm - haven't played since beta. Problem then was that all the available space for building stuff got used up in the first few days... and I sort of wonder if/how they fixed that?
There are 2 new zones made for the new races wich have a MASSIVE Housing zone.
If you realy dont want to take any risk then these 2 zones will make sure you get at least 2 plots.
Which kind of sea trading will the game have? I remember I played a few years ago and I used to run trade packs across the sea which was really profitable... but then I tried playing last year on the "re-release" and they had changed all the trading and how it worked.

Why tf would you do that? Yeah it's possible but you're going to be much weaker than everyone else, which is to be expected.
Hey guys I'm new to archeage and I'm sort of confused with the launcher, I want to play it but I don't want to be playing the older one. I've downloaded the gylph launcher and play the archeage game but I'm not sure if it's the unchained version or not.

I got to level 30 today and sold my starter set.. Should I remake my character and keep the starter gear or can I still progress at a reasonable pace with different gear?

Im confused about housing, is it really necessary to have a house or can you make due without one?
having a farm opens up the possibility to savely plant any crop (used for alchemy, cooking) or animal (cooking, others) or sappling (logging for well logs). You can use public farms but they will be full by the time you hit them I guess.
Housing opens up things like setting down items which increase your profficiency levels by a few ten thousands and also is kinda of mandatory if you choose cooking or alchemy (google Apothecary House for this).
You can also resort to illegal farming (basically placing anything plantable outside of a public farm or your own property but everyone has access to it so yeah better hide it good) but I wouldn't recommend it unless you found a really good spot. Plot Twist here - there are little to no spots which aren't already known by someone. At launch you have the best chances to do this since everyone is focused on leveling. But again... 1 player can ruin your 500 tree farm.
Another point is - lumber is a really rare resource at the beginning. Everything (even houses) need at least 100 lumber/1 lumber pack to build. So lumber will be in a high demand. Again illegal farming is something you can consider but well.
In the end it depends - if you wanna do Trade Runs or Cargo Runs (not sure what the right word is currently) you should have at least a farm. Otherwise the you have to pay even more attention to detail when it comes to making profit.
Another good money maker is mining which gives you acces to ore and stone (ore via fortuna veins which are not that rare when mining). Also burning labour grants exp (I think 5k labour is 1,5 levels?). So you make money and level up. And mining is free of all property nonsense. Just find a stone pile and go for it. You just need a good spot which there are a few I know of.
Long story short - it isn't ultimately neccessary to own a property (or more - remember you have to pay taxes) but it helps generating addtional resources either for simply selling them or using them for your own.

A lot of players will return at least for a while for aau.. most of them have only 1 goal.. to steal illegal farms and gank trade runners.
There will be a lot more people trying to steal illegal farms than people who actually put illegal farms.
So yea... putting illegal farms for the first 3 months is a completly waste of time and money.

I followed this guide and only did green quests at start, I found that I was only level 4 when I hit the area for the horse quest (which requires level 6), I continued doing just greens and I'm only 5 but yet almost done with starting region. Are we supposed to do some of the yellows too? (I finished the starting region at level 6, only doing green quests, just don't feel like I'm leveling like I should when doing just green quests).
First make sure, you're testing on PTS2 or PTS3, as they're the AA-Unchained 6.0 Testservers with improved leveling for all races.
Because the PTS1 is the normal AA 6.0 Testserver which have the normal leveling speed and therefore only Dwarfs and Warbornes got increased leveling speed.
The progress will do in the PTS, will be in the official lunch?

Arnis they do but AAU is a semi sandbox mmorpg so raids and dungeons are not the main focus of the game

Yeah it’s fine but pts is available for all now so I’d suggest playing pts. Reason being 6.0 DID have changed so you won’t get the exact experience and prep in the free to play version
I dont know if its the settings you do when you render your video or settings when editing the video but when i play this game it looks really ugly. I have my graphic settings to very high but even when i put them on low nothing changes nor those brightness. Anyone else have that problem on PTS or does this game has bad graphics, it is a 5 year old game....but i am having fun with it.

How is 300 unrealistic in guilde guildie whatever coin. 130 from green quest + realistic ach points, 160 for 40 each daily for 4 days. thats 290, all u gotta do is just make sure u get that 10 last. I havn't played Archeage before, just bout to start my adventure with some irl buddies today. But ye correct me if im wrong but it seems possible to get 300.

Same game but released in a different payment model. One is free to play but with heavy pay to win mechanics, unchained is buy to play but with 0 pay to win mechanics.

I've heard some people say to skip all yellow quests until 30 and then some say to make sure you hit all of them as you'll be about 1-2 levels behind if you dont. Can you expand on this and maybe explain your reasoning for NOT doing side quests prior to lvl 30?
I suggest you do all quests from start , I skipped most of the yellow quests and I ended up few lvls under and even after I got back and finished all the quests in all the maps I still was underlvled

It seems the entire game has been trough a massive overhaul this time.
Not like with Trion fresh start with broken promise of no p2w but a legit overhaul to take out every advantage of spending real money to gold.
You can still multi account tough but on diffrent PC's / Laptops so there are ways to increase your income vs a single account but you are not allowed to run multiple AA clients on the same system.
But compared to how AA was with Apex and other bullshait cashshop / costumes advantages they are all removed or even soulbound now.
