Being completely new to ArcheAge Unchained, between your video and a few others, I was finally able to figure out how to start over and /or re-roll my stats for my gear. I see you prefer starting over as opposed to opting to re-roll to gain the stat you require. I had not thought of that. One video I viewed spoke of upgrading the item with more mats to acquire its next level to regain more chances on the re-roll. Of course, if you are still unsuccessful after running out of chances... you have no choice but to start over anyway. I don't think the system returns those re-roll chances. To be honest, if I had to complain - I feel that with this method of upgrading gear; more coin is lost, too much time is spent with a drop in my gaming morale pulling the "casino slot machine" lever for that perfect stat when this could all be simplified quite quickly and efficiently. I would prefer the options to choose my stat based on my class chosen. Once the piece is awakened - you choose 1 time and 1 time only the stat you were aiming for, with a confirmation added of course, lol. If by chance you decide on another class, then you must repurchase your gear/weapons again along with the adventure stones needed to break down your now "old gear" for its resources to repeat the process again from scratch (just to keep it fair for those that like to complain after having become used to this... archaic and often confusing method of gear upgrading). With that said, this is simply my opinion, but I wish Gamingo would at least consider it and focus on the thought process of streamlining this mess for another step in improving better gameplay. As a new player im getting the hang of your guide as your break down where to find things and what to do compare to most guide that expect you to know things, as a person that never played an MMO or this game i am struggling, one thing however; is i don't know what i need, while your guide is super-helpful can you recommend things we need based on archer, mager, rouge etc? i am an archer and i have no clue what i need or what my options are as the game never guide you. Never knew i can break them down and all of this stuff, nice guide!
Trying to watch where your mouse is going and clicking while you're talking. This system seems very confusing, it also seems like you can completely screw your character up if you delete the wrong thing (Still not sure). But so far the best video I've found explaining this. Will still keep looking for one that tries to explain it to me a little slower and like I'm 3 haha...

Damn, I'm still confused. I'm lvl25 and applied one of those green synthesis materials to a scorching gear piece and it turned it blue and I'm unable to break it down with those adventures stones thingy. When do you start applying these things to your gear and when do you get those awaken scrolls?. Do you actually use the gear that drops from mobs or do you just use the starter stuff? @@Stalvros You don't need to do all of that. The gear boxes are sold at blacksmith merchants in big city :) and you can farm T1, T2, T3 infusions a bit later into the game.
Hey Pohx, welcome back to aa. Just question do we really have enough infusion and awakening scroll to get t1 hiram just doing the main quest? Cuz ive been syntezisinf my gear with overflow exp cuz im using the blue infusion that main quest gives.
If I used the evenstone instead of the adventurers evenstone, is the green infusion just gone forever? Or is there a way to get more down the road so that I have enough for all my gear. My chest piece turned blue instead of purple and I used an evenstone since adventurer's one wouldn't work on it and it gave me archeum.

Hey, after I upgrade it to Hiram lv 50 should I keep upgrading them with Hiram Infusions? Actually when is the time to stop focusing on quest gear and start to farm gear which will replace it? And how to farm it? I know it may be stupid questions but as a newbie I really don't know this.
So maybe i miss something, but why is this any better as using dropped gear? I got a blue chest with 3 different stats on it (str, int, spirit) isn't it better? I don't get why everyone is using this levelgear with no stats or just one stat later.
legendary ( red ) has the most amount of stats but you have to get the right rolls Unique gear ( Pink ) might have a best in slot item for you but it's mainly to enable builds or help with leveling

crazy question - what happens if you want to completely change builds after you made a hiram set. For example - you got a full agi set and want to play str/melee. Is there a way to get more infusions/scrolls to create a new set? Or do you just have to create an alt? Because at first glance AA seems really open like FFXIV but it actually seems way more limiting - unless there is a way to get scrolls and infusions

I saw that you only did it to the Lv28 gear, what happens if you break down Lv40 gear, will you get everything back or is there another process? As in Rank 1 and Rank 2 infusions plus both Lv28 and 40 scrolls?
Thank you for making this video! This game is very good but it really needs guide videos like this! It does a really bad job at explaining stuff like this. I did reach lvl 40 but now... There are not enough infusions to upgrade everything, so i went with what you said are the best pieces to upgrade. But i think at lvl 50 i am going to have a issue with not having the right upgrade path, i used all my green blue and epic infusions at lvl 40

Is there actually a reason, why we can't buy again a bow, and insturment? Like I kinda deleted my bow on my Darkrunner. I don't use it, but still the stat from it always help.
you're kind of limited on re-rolls so it's much better to guarentee your first stat is the one you want so you can focus the next rolls on your 2nd and 3rd

This was a super helpful video. Small piece of advice for aspiring mages out there though, you want a piece or two with spirit on it. Mana regen and magic accuracy is important too :)
you get magic acc from int. Only go for your main stat as DD. You woun't need stamina either, since you get tons of hp from the armor grade buff (mythic gives over 12k hp).

Yep it's by far the most common mistake and as far as I'm aware screws you hard. I don't believe there's anything you can do sorry brother. Pretty sure you get infusions for your bow and lute which are really just for stats so just don't level one of those instead. If you're an archer obviously level the bow.
You move too quickly for this to be an easy to follow guide. I got the info I needed, but had to watch parts over to understand what you where talking about.

I found it the perfect speed, and it was repeated many times as he tried to get int stat. However as BruhMan said, you can lower the playback speed to fit you. I often use that option to speed up ;)

In any case i wanted to make a tank, but without any kind of guide just so i can play made a darkrunner but followed an old guide from 2014... I choose dual wield (katana/axe) but it seam i should have gone 2H axe instead from updated guide i could find, any way to get back that starter crate? SOrry for the noob question OK i found the anwser myself just had to buy a new crate at the weapon vendor.

Cash shop labor potions are gone, you can not pay real money for them anymore. Labor potions are awarded on break point level ups, I know for sure 40 & 45 you get them
Unless you're playing an Archer it's totally okay to lose your bow. You can purchases another one from the AH or wait till 50 and farm one from abyss mobs
You are shit out of luck till 50 when you can get Hiram gear it’s a horrible system that’s not well explained and will screw over anyone not already familiar with it

What to do if you deleted a piece of upgraded gear ? (my shield) and you don't have the green bottle and the scroll anymore ? :'(
You can buy the base quest gear box again, but the bottle and scrolls are gone. You needed to dismantle it at a blacksmith to get it back :(

Just have to wait for your labor to cumulate. :/ it sucks since you have to apply your founders pack to a character to start gaining labor.
if you are level 40 and looking to what to do next, just jump to 11:00 because 90% of this video is that him trying to roll best stat
Is it bad to just get a full set of the auction house armor with your correct stats and upgrade that? seems easier.

You can buy starter quest gear at a blacksmith.
Weapon and Armor merchant* dont think blacksmiths sell em.

You don't get all you need at the same time. You get them all from your main quest line.

Why don't you just use the "Replace Effect" tab to change it? Just because it's limited to how many times?
you're kind of limited on re-rolls so it's much better to guarentee your first stat is the one you want so you can focus the next rolls on your 2nd and 3rd

Can you break them down and re-do them at any point? Im at my second level and have crap on some and no re-rolls.

Screwed till 50 when you can farm mobs in the abyss for comparable gear it seriously is the worse gear system in any mmo that I have played

you can lower the playback speed some by clicking on the cog wheel, i don't know if that will help you any though

how did you get a labor potion? i thought they were removed from the game for unchained??
Cash shop labor potions are gone, you can not pay real money for them anymore. Labor potions are awarded on break point level ups, I know for sure 40 & 45 you get them
But how do i do that with my Staff? I can‘t find a mercahnt selling the basic staff
@Ben A yea i already solved the problem, the one i was using (diamond shores) was not selling it.
So I used an evenstone on my explorers bow, and it's gone. Everyone's telling me I can't get it back, and I should just restart. Wtf?
Unless you're playing an Archer it's totally okay to lose your bow. You can purchases another one from the AH or wait till 50 and farm one from abyss mobs

what can you do if you used an evenstone and dissolved your weapon with your upgrades ?
You are shit out of luck till 50 when you can get Hiram gear it’s a horrible system that’s not well explained and will screw over anyone not already familiar with it
